Same I just handed over my card for the ship... it's kinda upsetting to see one guy do so well and then hear a team is going to take 2-3 years for only about twice the quality.
cant see polaris been done before galaxy,galaxy is needed for pyro outposts ect and all that is coming in next 12 months.zeus then galaxy then perseus ,

Your white box design looks better than most of the ships do by cig! It looks like you even did some graybox parts. They should really hire you! Please send them this as your application xD it's epic!
I don't normally like, RU-vid videos. But the amount of effort you have put into this it's hard not too. I'm in two minds to melt my Carrick and get one.
i mean they are working on the polaris which will be done in 12 months, so probably the perseus and the galaxy will be okayishly soon after that since their design is pretty similar@@fartattention
@@captainharlock3998 Nope Polaris, galaxy and Perseus, that what CIG says, and the galaxy shows up in the teaser video of the ships that they intend to get ready for 2024
@@AlvivasThey never said that, they said in that order Polaris, Galaxy and Perseus, and the the ONLY ship they said they'd try to finish in 2024 is the Polaris. Rewatch the video. There is minus % chance to see either Galaxy OR Perseus in 2024, and even the Polaris is doubtful.
This is amazing, pictures just don't really give you enough, a walk through even in "greybox or whitebox" really gives you what you need to make a decision or just to know what you are actually paying so much money for. Not me but those who have. Amazing work! Hope to see you do the arrastra at some point!

Really nice video. Just wanted to add. I'm not sure about the hangar doors. I could imagine the doors fold to the outside somewhat like the front door of the caterpillar. Not sure if that's possible in the concept right now. But that would be my guess for now.
Excellent! As a Galaxy Owner with all of the modules, Its nice to see how she might look. More and more, it is looking like a sip I might lag the most hours in.
I have this ship, can't wait for it to be flyable. I don't have any modules yet (budget). I got this ship for around $260 on star-hanger. I see on the RSI website they are selling it for over $400 now without modules!
@@DABOYDJEM1 Yeah, I am under the impression that they are the most reputable 3rd party market place? Is there another place that you would recommend? I think I only used that place cause the RSI website does not always have all ships for sale and I expected the price to go up.
This is absolutely a fantastic guided tour. You've clearly put a lot of time and thought into this, and I would even say this is a great portfolio piece if you plan on working in the games industry (if you're not already) or interior design. Not sure if youll see this comment, but the Polaris should be the next releasing large ship as far as I know. Id loooove a whitebox on the polaris as you did for this ship. It was incredible to walk through the galaxy with your commentary. Definitely earned my sub!

I personally would add a window behind the captains desk for him to look out (with a privacy screen when needed) and making the slit looking into the hangar in that hallway there to go to the floor. This would allow a view from the Cpt chair front and back and IMO would be a cool feature. Also who knows we got a construction module coming... maybe someday there is more? I can dream right? So combat module 2 size 5 or 6 turrets, one on top and bottom, yes then 20 size 5 torpedo's then we can show them what this star destroyer is capable of! Or a module that extends the hangar into the module and maybe adds some type of repair and larger ships. This ship should be a gunship, but not as shielded or armored as say a Perseus. Or it can be a repair ship, but not as much to replace the others (maybe size restriction), a builder, a refiner, a medical ship or cargo ship or even a jail/bounty hunter module. Jack of all trades but master of none, due to the modular design. I'm full of the copium tonight everyone but lets go! But you know you want to do it CIG, sell us some modules ;)
Awesome video! Who knows how accurate it will be, as you're just speculating but I mean something to visually see is better than nothing! It gives a sense of scale which is really nice. Maybe in the next video place it next to the caterpillar you mentioned to see its size, maybe a carrack as well. You've earned my subscription, i'm ready for part 2!
I did not know and just checked that (and I speak german): That is not a leak. A friend of him rebuild the interior, just like I did, just quicker and more simplified. He calls it whitebox, but it is based on the holoviewer model only, there is no "official" interior yet. Thank you for the info though, I did not see that!
Great Work ! As for the toilets/shower, i think each crew cabin is meant to have it's own shower/toilet combo. (wich would mean the Galaxy would have the most toilets or any other ships of that size)
Thanks on creating this early preview of the RSI Galaxy. Also for offering up your suggestions for improvement and early missed opportunities. Windows, either properly cut into the hull or virtual windows are something I *want* to see CIG include more of. Not a fan of their habit of incorporating skylights over lateral windows. Opinion: The Pool table prop is a miserable use of crew space. However, a multipurpose holotank incorporating haptic feedback of solid play pieces (magnetic core) could handle the pool table simulation (ship movements damped out from the sim) using solid pool balls. Also for virtual tabletop, Sataball / Murray Cup UEE sports coverage, art, and mission planning roles.
The bridge view is amazing, even if it isnt the official idea. It gives a nice idea of what it *could* look like. Especially with the lighting, it'd be amazing to have that view, just standing there with the ship landed on a cliff face, the rising sunlight casting an orange glow throughout the bridge, it'd be amazing.
Well it might not be 100% accurate, but I reconstruced the Artwork pretty much 1:1 - this is the official idea of the layout (except that I hid the center chair for visibility)!
Etant donner que squadron 42 est terminer et en polissage et que le Polaris en fait partie , il est donc logique que le polaris soit lui même en polissage et presque près a être sortie ( a mon avis sortie visé surement durant invictus )

Really impressed with the work you put into this. Could the rear hangar maybe have some kind of roller shutter door?. Seems odd to have it just open like that, even with some kind of shield. Great stuff!.
Star Citizen, too, look at all the Hangars, even i orbital stations - there is a visible forcefield and you don't need a helmet within. @@omegasixfive5334
I thought about it, but they did not release a floorplan as they did with recent concepts. I also had a look at the holoviewer model, and it's terribly low quality - maybe CIG does not like us doing these kind of deep dives on the holo models...
Nice work on the render. I upgraded to galaxy yesterday. As my long term ship for someday. The design looks really cool. Really wish the hangar was bigger but still looks like a vulture could back in to off load.
I love how it’s like a little Star destroys you could have hovering over a planet or outpost and a little shuttle connecting the Star Wars like hangar to surface

@@ace_tristPWN it wasn't totally out of the ballpark as rsi is currently under heavy work, though the galaxy is quite faar back in the line, it could happen. One thing i expect to suddendly drop might be the apollo, although its progress had still a lot to be done.
