“I learn much from watching, and thanks much! I follow what your doing on your truck, I’ve got a “63” C-10 with 383 Stroker 5 speed Tremec going in this Spring. You are helping me get ready Sir, for this upcoming mod for mine! I thank you much, also thanks for the work you showed for the “American Autowire” rewire job of yours, helps me. I’m a retired old dude from military with ptsd from serving for 18 years. I was Jet Engine Technician on B-52’s did well as Master Mechanic on jets. Trucks etc. are different of course. I’ve got difficulty getting info to my hands. It is slow for me, but again “your helping me so much Sir, I thank you for all you post here! “You Rock the old truck Sir!” Thank you!
When I’m not out in the garage working on my 64 C10, I’m enjoying the great videos you’ve done! Unfortunately mine just has a straight 6, but someday I’ll change it!
Thank you Sir, My grandfather signed over a 1966 K30 unfortunately it was lost to a fire. I am going to honor the legacy of his "welding rig" (has a 1966 Lincoln Arc and generator on back, custom Oxy/Acetylene bottle holders with leads in bed for arc welder and cutting torch, Heavy Duty Job box welded to bed, storage boxes mounted on each side) I developed Multiple Sculrosis and never got to use it in the field... I love the style of these pickups... I enjoy your videos and appreciate you.
Nice job. The one thing that I have heard many people say is, just get it in place for now and align it later just before you tighten it up. That’s great advice!
As always, very nice job !! Went together pretty nice !! Working on mocking up a 57 Chevy front clip as we speak. Lots more pieces it seems. Straightening all the edges, panels, and filling all the un-necessary holes.
great job on this truck brother I'll look forward to the next video and to what it looks like when it gets done keep it up and I can't wait to see what the next project is
Nice work man!! Wish my 66 f250 front clip went together that easy. All the bolts on mine have a washer and a nut on the backside. I wished I was an octopus....🙄
She's Rocking Brother your Pop is going to have fun cruzzing with you and your brother... I'm still trying to locate a grill for my 63 C10 let two slip by me. One was the custom aluminum grill darn... Found it but money wasn't in hand and then when I did get the money saved up the two grills had been sold darn... Keep On Trucking Brother...
You're my hero, been building my 66 along with you. Did you end up using any shims on those top inner fender to cab bolts? I can't get the lower inner fender to cab bolts to line up, it's weird since it's all original only been apart for 10 years lol. Looking forward to hearing back about the shims, thank you!
She's lookin and soundin real nice!! I just picked up a 64 to build up. Your videos are a real inspiration to me and many others, and that's clear by the comments you get. I wonder who you use for parts on your beauties. Atleast the parts you didnt rebuild. Also I wonder if the rear end housing you used on the red 63 was stock.
Looks like the original radiator for that year. Where did find your fan shroud? It fits perfectly and raps around on each side. Most trucks don’t that year don’t have a shroud for whatever reason, including my truck.
outoftime ; I've seen a video of a Hot Rod show and a gentleman had a 4 door extra long box GMC he made it into a low rider the year was 63-66 model. They were used in the RR company and other places like big oil company and military.
Great looking truck. Question: why did you choose to install dual brake master cylinder with no power booster? I’ve notice quite a few people don’t have the booster?
Me Gibson I have gotten me a Donor truck for my 64 c10 I’m goin to put a ls motor in there what’s your thoughts on that and would you do something with a ls style motor
