Installing 370z Axles and Wheel Bearings on my G35!! In this video i show you guys what you need and how to install your 370z axles and wheel bearings on your g35 / 350z! I got these real cheap in comparison to the z1 kit and didnt buy some cheap quality ones!
My car is a 2004 G35 Coupe 6MT Brembo Package Desert Platinum and has Muffler Delete exhaust

This is good shit, I started my G35 up again and realize my wheel bearing were shot, I was gonna replace them with new OEM ones, but then I found this gem of a video and now my plans have changed. Keep going with the videos man I really dig them.

Coming up on 70k original miles on my stock, unmolested (for now 🫣) G35 Coupe RAS! just recently replaced the rear hub/bearing assembly, luckily for us, Z1 now makes the bearing & hub one piece already pressed together. Hayaku was the manufacturer i received for the hub & bearing part from Z1. Just by looking side by side one can tell the Z1 part is beefier than the stock one. *after installation, about 2 weeks later now im experiencing clicking noise in rear driver cv axle. In first, very slow, between stop n go. Also in first, at a crawl, let off gas, can hear the click, click. Took off wheel, and to my surprise, the axle has play. Time for a 370Z Nismo upgrade. Thanks for the information Joe!

I installed the z1 30mm spacer adapters and it is nice. The fitment is solo dope. I have g37 wheels tho.

I did this mod 1 year ago and it was worth every penny, no complaints. I purchased the z1 package 📦 and it is worth the price since I couldn't source it from another z.

How have these parts held up? The bearings are made in China by Nissan value advantage and I've heard their parts don't hold up

Holding up great and YES I heard that value advantage brand is kind of a hit or miss, I’d much rather find a person parting out pieces from a 370z with low miles than getting new ones from value advantage

Hey Joe when you installed the new bolts on axles to diff connection in which way and order did you put the bolts and nut ? And also is the nut facing the outside or inside ? Thanks appreciate it if you can help!!!

I place the bolt facing outwards towards the wheels, then I put the lock washer on the other side and then I put the nut!

Just do it! It looks a lot more intimidating than it actually is! Just make sure you have the tools for the job and it should be no problem! At the end of the day, they’re just bolts

Video Is cap. There are at least 5 options for g rear bearing assemblies with no press. The carquest features 3 year warranty and new hardware included. Import direct has new lifetime axles for those not wanting to now spend 600 for the setup and 78 for hardware

I spent 350 for oem which is the only one I trust for axles, all auto parts axles are remanufactured hot garbage and even with lifetime warranty I wouldn’t want to keep swapping blown axles. I thought about all of this before I made my decision

Also g35/350z are a 2 piece rear wheel bearing setup. Front is the only one with one piece. If you don’t believe me, z1 website has a lot for that very reason and you can read up on that on their website or literally any other RU-vid video on 350z bearing/axle upgrade. You get 1 piece construction on bearings, you get upgraded beefier oem axles, and you pay less and save a headache from future blown cheap axles, win, win, win, win.

I bought 1.50 because they didn’t have any 1.25 in two Home Depot’s I went to but as long as you get all hardware together it won’t matter!

You have true rears , yet , you still have the spring buckets , also , those bolts and nuts you bought are not the same quality or hardness as the ones you took off , they are threaded the whole way , they should be smooth in the middle , when they sheer off don’t blame me

Hate how these cars have extra parts. Like the 2 piece wheel bearings and the all unnecessary front end joints. Like why it couldn't be like a Honda or something with 1 piece parts. More parts more problems In the long run.
