Not all these factory Escalade headlights are the same. My 05 has the HID wire going into the housing underneath the harness plug. I didn't go the LED conversation route but wanted to comment for future views. I had to run that HID out of my stock housing and in thru the new ones I'd bought.
@@roj30001 For the headlight housing I bought off Amazon, which is a good one BTW, I had to "thread" the HID wiring out of the factory housing and run it through the new headlight. My low beams are HID. But these Escalade headlights aren't all the same.
I've had these on for a year and I fucked up cuz my 05 is also factory hid did u have to fuck with the oem plug at all or just rerouted the hid wires n bulb into the housing?
@@DiegoElCharrua I fished it out of the stock then ran it through the new one. Took me longer to figure it out than to do it. And the first one I did took a bit but the other took no time. The new housings had all the bulbs except that HID.

I have the same ones on mine. They are absolutely not plug and play, I have to run the halos to the trucks wiring harness parking lights, and run the HID wire back through the aftermarket headlights, find screws that work cuz it didn’t come with em for a mount and put the HID light back in. Over 3 hours for 2 light. Also how do I turn on the LED Bar on the side of the head light towards the grille?
Yeah unfortunately this cheaper Chinese brand isn’t plug and play , but the spyder brand should be , and if you wired everything properly it should turn on 🤔 I was even thinking running a separate wire for the halos
@@alonzo5.040 nope I got spyders all the halos are wired and there were no extra wires but the LED DRL doesn’t come on? Does it only come on in the day because my HALOS flash with my parking lights when I unlock it and my stock DRLS come on but not the LED strip ones? I’m gonna wait till tomorrow and see if they come on in the day.
You didn’t turn the lights on I did this myself and you need to attach the halo lights , there’s a few that are connected to the red and black wires , just my opinion
Yeah I forgot to add that in the video , and yeah for the halos I could have attached them to the low beam light/ or I was planning on just running a extra wire and switch through the fire wall
Hey! I’m looking at these now. Did you splice them and connect them to the wires from the adapter coming from the new lights ? Also is it a posistive and negative or is that just the colors. Is the Manuel any help on where they go ?
I have an 05 Escalade and got the same spyder headlights for my truck and had to return them cause they had the wrong adapter on them and the low beams wouldn’t work, make sure you have the right adapter before ordering headlights.
Bru, u didn't even hook up the halos. U left the wires exposed and no, they DO NOT hook up to a battery. They have to be linked into the existing wires. BAD VIDEO. 👎
