Aye let's go! One thing, load resistors get pretty toasty and when you have anything on the heatsinks will melt! Try mounting them using the screws!

hey man, the video is very instructive and very helpful, i also have EDM taillights on my 99 Gs and did the wiring installation following the same procedures as you, also the 2 8ohm 100w resistors, but my lights ended up hyper flashing. With a tester I checked the base of the corner lights on both sides, and it receives power and flashing, but not the bulb, any idea why it hyper flashes.?? (the bulbs are fine)

Yo Ik it’s been a few years since the install😅 but what screws did you use to set the wires to the resistors ? But great tutorial I just got my EDM tail lights and about to throw them on and any problems with the tail lights after this whole time ?

Hey, this might be a dumb question and the vid´s kinda old but, this should work with those clear aftermarkets taillights too right? I recently got a GS-T and since im in Germany the all red taillights are not allowed here, and the clear once where the most affordable i could get. I hope someone has an answer and i really appreciate your video´s, its stuff like this that makes working on a car like that somewhat manageable for someone not too experienced like me. Edit: Forgot to mention, when i swapped the all red´s with the clear one´s they didnt light up at all, and i didnt get to check the bulbs yet, to me its more about the "emergency" flashing since the US tails are illuminated in a different way, where its lighting up more in the middle than on the outsides.
