Installing Electrics into our campervan

The van is really coming along now, so its time to install the electrical system. Having researched various systems we went for the Italian designed system CBE PC210 digital system. Reason being it offers a wide variety of management systems incorporated in it design, such as awning light, electric step, external/internal water level sensors etc, yes we wont use them all but I wanted the option to if we required.
The install was actually pretty straight forward, the creation of a individual plug loom really helped as I was able to test continuity for each connection and as proved the case, find a electrical connection fault easily.
I did not film we actually adding plugs etc as I felt this would be boring for viewers, but if you have any questions regarding the install or the CBE unit, please feel free to get in touch.

Thanks for taking the time to view my video. It's actually a really nice unit, by adding the plugs prior to install I was able to change some of the original intended circuits to one's better suited to my needs. Having used 25amp cable for all but the one with the 30amp fuse, where I used 40amp cable, I was then able to Group all my lights to a 4 switch controller using this 30amp fuse.

Very good explanation of your setup. I've just bought the same cbe kit and im now going to do the battery charger the same as you. Can i ask which one of the 3 settings you have the charger on for your batteries as im going for agm ones ?

Hello Thanks for watching and commenting on my video. I too have agm batteries, off the top of my head I cannot remember the position although I did do as the guide instructed, and I don't want to miss inform you. I can say that the system is really nice, although some features we did not need, such as the electric step. The mains fed battery charger works very well, I kept my batteries topped up via this during the past colder months. If you do not have the operational manual, let me know and I will dig mine out and confirm the settings.

I have the manuals that came with it thanks but like you've done i want to change the way its set up like you have, I'm also incorporating separate feed off from fusebox to feed a gang of lights and usb and I already have a durite split charge fitted so no need for fusebox to connect to my ignition or alternator, thinking about it now I should have just bought charger and rcd box and just a normal fuse box !!!!

@rickh6825 it's funny how once completed we see alternative way we could have done things. I bought a number of things I thought I would use but either changed my mind or bought a better alternative. Good luck with the build though.
