Guys we absolutely cranked it out over the weekend on this car. The attention to detail on this car is absolutely incredible! Show car quality and I can’t wait to hear it fire up! LETSSS GOOOOOOOO
Just wanted to make some corrections on the explanation of the alternator wiring. The green/red wire is the signal from the cluster that tells the alternator to turn on, it is NOT 12 volts. This is important because if you feed 12 volts to that circuit the regulator will fail. It is a resisted circuit that's around 10~11 volts. The yellow circuit tells the regulator how much charge the battery has so it can adjust voltage to keep the battery topped off. None of those wires are for "the gauge". The gauge simply gets it's voltage reading from the fuse panel.
I went back to verify how I did it on my harness and Wes’s. The only wire getting 12v is the green and black wire that originally went onto the fuse panel. The 2 wires that go into the connector that plugs into the alternator were only extended. Nothing was actually removed from them.
The green wire is originally crimped onto the alternator power wire. And it goes to a connector near the fuse box you have to extend that wire and put an eyelet on it that will go on the fuse box that way your cluster can read voltage.
Todd Warren Cams, heads have Manley oversized valves, and upgraded springs. Bottom end has Manley crank, Molnar Power added Rods and DSS -3cc dish pistons with all valve reliefs and upgraded wrist pins. Fuel System is the twin pump return style from Fore Innovations.
Unfortunately no. We included some in here but did a lot off camera since we had a lot of work to do in a short amount of time. I'll probably go over what we did in more detail in another video soon
@@RatchetWrenches @27:18 is a nice shot but the whole battery wire montage. Car is sick BTW, I see that I didn't finish my comment and now I guess I am just a dick 😂
@commonsenseisdeadin2023 main priority was to get the relocation kit completed and engine in I can take the time this winter to clean up more rust if need be but no worries man! Thanks though!!
@@RatchetWrenches the wire butt connectors he was using for the harness extension. The ones he was explaining don’t mess with polarity or something in the beginning.
@liammcquillan6851 with the turbo piping it's only the 2 off the headers now! I forget but the old rear locations are either taped off or we had my tuner adjust for none
