INT Starship Hangar 

I know we're supposed to be talking about the 3d art, but can I just say the sound was really immersive? Like, it was really well done.

I'll use this space to address the fact that this channel has been very inactive for a while. You're right, I haven't uploaded anything in almost a year. My apologies! To put it simply, I've been very busy. To dive a bit deeper... My original plan was to develop Ascension Mining and I would create tutorials using the assets I produced for that. In May of last year, I submitted Ascension Mining to a game competition with the intention of gauging interest in the game. While it won 3rd place and the Best Art award, the audience reception to it was mild at best. I decided that I needed to rethink what kind of game it should be and that it wasn't worthwhile to keep developing it without some serious revisions to the design. So, the production (and the tutorials) stopped. The competition itself was in mid June of 2017. Since then, to pay the bills, I've had to take on a variety of freelance jobs. This hangar and the ship inside of it is one of the larger assets I've created for one of the companies I'm working for. However, in the past year, I've been working for several companies/individuals including the project mentioned in this video, a couple game developers in Shanghai, a music video for a hip hop artist, developing the curriculum for a tech/digital media summer camp, and others. Juggling all of these freelance jobs is time consuming and stressful, and because of it, I sadly haven't had a good opportunity to make in-depth tutorials. For that, I again apologize. Will I be able to make more videos when i find a more stable job and I don't have to jump around from contract to contract? Hopefully. I am going to start working with an online education company in the near future teaching subjects like game development and 3d art. We'll have to see what comes of that. Until then, I hope you can enjoy this taste of the fruits of my labor over the past few months.

Great job but as you know everyone's a critic, I'm no exception :P I would like to see the ship depart about 3 times faster. It's alien remember or fade out to a shimmer and then blast off. Just a thought.

Could you put subtitles in Portuguese in Brazil in all your courses please
