I am sure that the Yoga 720 from Lenovo is what inspired that laptop, but I would imagine that a fully loaded yoga 720 would be able to compete the nitro 5, the have the same gpu, both have 4 core 8 thread cpus, and both can have sizable ssds, however the lenovo consumes upto 115 watts, where the nitro 5 would consume far less because of that 15 watt cpu.

I overclocked an AMD FX 8350 to 4.8Ghz, now I feel like the days of CPUs being able to do that are gone. My own Ryzen 1700X gets 3.8Ghz Stable and 4.0Ghz if you want Cinebench r15 to Crash.
