🔴A Chinese spy was caught around the same time period, using a drone to record a naval base, that explains the 2 hr interrogation. The remaining hrs were due to your mistake of taking the card and lying about it. They surely checked your social accounts for any irregularities, after which they let you go. 🔴Drone Law India : Foreigners are currently not allowed to fly drones in India. For commercial purpose, they need to lease the drone to an Indian entity who in-turn will obtain Unique Identification Number (UIN) and UAOP from DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Government of India) Regards From "Indian Defence Updates"
ШИРИШ no one wants to be lapdog India. It is a bully of South Asia and has problem with all its neighbouring countries. Land encroachment from India is a major issue for rise in anti Indian sentiment.
Yeah Man...That is why whenever we see a bird flying in the sky, we lose our breath. We are especially afraid of pigeons. May God protect our country❤India❤

I thought this video is going to be boring but at the I noticed that I watched it with full of intrest. Nice editing and storytelling makes anything interesting..
Ha ha ha ha😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣lol loll loll 🤣🤣🤣 Never trust these foreigners. They are known for defaming india. IIT,😂 thats so easy for them because they too have quota in IITs . Shame.
@@sulsur4151 Still some are of slave mentality. Hospitality is fine but that shouldn't come with compromising national security or not following the rule of the land.
@shrreyyaa bullshit they only did it because he is look like foreigner if they caught sone guy look like indians all he have to do give them some money and then they don't ask you anything
I saw 1st commenting which is supporting the police....I was frustrated by all the comments either saying sorry or blaming the police...just 2-3 comments before ur comment I saw a whole thread in which people and especially one person was saying all shitty things about the Police and how we should treat guest like God......my head started paining reading all those retarded comments...they don't even understand how it was a necessary thing to do....and later on the same people will blame the Police if attack happens
@@yashwantchoudhari2080 From someone who has spent a night in the jail, let me tell you, the police is no longer letting go with money, at least for ~10 years now. Small crimes of breaking traffic signals, maybe, but anything related to national security and you're in for a treat.
@@bbacalhau dude u lie to the cops , if this was the US they would have put a cap in ur ass. They fed you which is awesome coz nowhere in the world will do that. Maybe u find questions are absurd but they were just doing their Job

@@rktmtkljelrdkbn1852 I meant that it is far more likely to get into such situations in India. But there is no need to be afraid. I've heard in some countries they won't allow you to leave and charge other cases on you. Indian police, especially south Indian police are rather easier to deal with.
The moral of the story is never lie. It wasn't a toy, they didn't lose the SD card. These two lies probably added more struggle for you to get out. Never lie to anyone especially the police. Especially if you have no reason to lie ! I'm not just talking about you it goes for myself and everyone. The truth is always the best. Watch the end of Men in Black 3 to learn that moral as well!
Why is it souspicious. The SD did not contain anything dangerous. They must have give the SD back and his equipment right after they saw it, and let him free with a notice that drones are not permitted. Just that. If they didn't do that must have been for some other reason.
@@anantsingh5107 These things can happen in many countries. And India is very big. How can you asure that? Isn't there corruption in the Indian police? It would be one of the few exceptions worldwide.
Even david Coleman headly did a lot of filming for Lashkar e Tayiba which facilitated Mumbai 26/11 attacks.Hence if Police feels suspicious they do a lot of interrogation.
The easiest way here to spot criminals is to ask the same kind questions again and again after confusing you and check whether the answers are consistent with what you have said at the beginning and all day through! When you are frustrated by questioning sometimes people tend to change answers and story..Thats what police will look for!
Speaking of criminals, which ones? the ones with uniform or the ones without? there are more than 800 terrorist cells alone in India and the ones the government didn't report, are outside operating in Germany, the UK, and Pakistan, Bangladesh
Yup. They will also observe how confidently you are answering to the same question. If you lie it will reflect on the face. That is the trick for asking same question again and again.
One thing is certain. Madurai police was hospitable, friendly, fed you timely and at the same time did their duty thoroughly well. Imagine, if the first police man just received 100 rs bribe/fine and left you. I would have been more concerned about our security.
you would've just shown the 'GPS' guy your RU-vid videos and he would've been impressed. but then, you would miss out on such a good story to tell, everything happens for a reason 💜🙌🏼
The police just did their duty.. TN police being one of the strictest.. i feel sorry tat u woke up early tat day..& hey u got free dosa & sambar rice not so bad huh
If you were interrogated by Toronto Police in Canada for 11 hours, you would get a cheese sandwich, that's 2 slices of white bread with a slice of processed cheese along with a juice box. They would have probably have found something to charge you with, they have a quota system in Toronto to keep up in order to continue getting $1+billion per year. Be glad it was India.
Bernardo you are a great guy and we need more friends like you visiting us. But please remember this is Madurai and the home of some of India’s greatest cultural treasures. There people out there with bad intentions so the police have to do their job which they did. Hats off to them by the way. And by the look of it, they treated you super nicely while still doing their work. So all’s well that ends well. By the way silly of you to do what you did with the SD card ☹️
@SCHITANOCHKA check some statistics about rape in India in comparison to other countries just because Indian Media shows a lot of cases and other countries don't doesn't mean India is worst in handling these things
@SCHITANOCHKA you were stating that in your comment that Indian police they don't do anything to stop rape on a public place where anyone on the internet could read it and that statement is incorrect I replied you can't just say anything on internet
This happened because the Meenakshi temple in Madurai is one of the UNESCO accredited place and faced lot of threats from unknown sources 😈. The police officers doubted that you maybe one of them.
26/11 , An American Citizen Richard Headley masterminded the whole attack and he went un-notice because of being White Tourist from USA . Since then , scene have changed in India . Foreign tourists are no exception to suspicious activities , police can interrogate them if needed . But you handled it well man . Kudos to you
Very well edited tbh! Must've worked hard. Maybe one video a month of this type?? Anyway as always it was an excellent video, enjoyed a lot. Thank you!
The main reason for asking the same questions again and again is that when someone is lying they're bound to mess up a few answers. I think the police did a good job.
Hi bro, i am a madurai citizen we r sorry that u caught up by police but in madurai meenakshi amman temple area is vulnerable area where many bomb threats were happened so the law was strict there and u should get permission to fly the drone so only u were caught up and very thanks that u mentioned our dosa and rice was good actually in Tamil nadu madurai is known for tasty foods and thanks for being patient with police and making this vdo
Now you know, don't take Indian police and defense personnels easily. We might be a third world country from Western perspective but we take such actions seriously. Because we are experiencing the wrath of terrorism since much before the West. Btw Portuguese Prime Minister is on India's visit to celebrate 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
I think They thought you might be a Terrorist or Someone else Spying that Area They were doing their duty by the way For Security reasons nothing else Loved the illustrations Btw🙃
A GPS enabled drone can be programmed to fly in a previously planned path.. which could be misused in wrong hands.. nowadays all drones have gps in it to basically return back to the place it took off.
You're lucky that you got interrogated by South Indian police they are better than most of the North Indian one. But somehow it was your fault that without permission you were flying.
Well ,As an Indian I feel very sorry for the situation and experience. But I should appreciate and thank you for explaining the experience more in a positive and respectful way.
THIS is exactly how you handle a situation like this. I've seen sooooo many entitled RU-vidrs bitching and moaning about this. When they were clearly in the wrong. In the end, just some time lost and lesson learned. Security in India, in regards to foreigners, is taken very seriously. SOME countries are far more lenient with Drones. Others, not so much. India is the later.
@@AlphaCentauri2 sd card can't flew because it is very small and on table it would be lying flat so no resistance due to air flow of fan.....also it is unlikely to flew it by table fan which blows air horizontally.....

Hey Bernard , I just want to tell u that u have done a great job by being calm and compose, I would have bursted and situation could have gotten worse! And u are a good person with a good ❤️ and we love u for that. Keep posting ,keep.smiling
What an experience, Oh boy. I don't know if I'm supposed to be feeling sad for you or laugh at the silliness of taking back the SD card . I'm glad you were calm and got out of it without much trouble.. absolutely loved the animation edits on this video. Keep going :)
@Rahul lol kejriwal is the reason when I realised that even IITans can be dumb😂😂😂 He said that all BJP leaders are Soo called "uneducated", that dumbo had no idea that manohar parikar himself was an IITan graduated from Bombay, that's way tough than kharagpur... Kejri is a showoff nothing else
Hiding memory card was the big mistake. U should have probably told them I knew Cristiano ronaldo 😝. Since madurai is temple city the police r extra cautious. Intha madurai karangalae ipadi than sapadu pottutu adipanga.
You're setting a leading example of how to document culture. You didn't gloss over nor sensationalize, and you also respected the perspectives of everyone involved including yourself and the people you could have chosen to be mad at. Thanks for your pov and a cool story.
Dude you should know drones are heavenly regulated by laws in india. We can't just fly drones without permission. 2nd after 26/11 the police and intelligence agency are super active. What you were doing can also be described as surveillance of area for potential attack which David Headley did for 26/11. He also looked like white caucasian. That's why you were interrogated and frisked. You do realise the terrorist threats.
Hey Bro, It's very usual in India. Please don't blame. If you see many countries they don't allow tourist to take drones inside their countries. So In India permit everyone to stay as they want but few things we definitely have to remember especially if you are not indian and an overseas person. One of my buddy from Australia had faced the same situation in Bangalore, when the next day I went police station then all got well, just they asked few questions and all well. Because we were student and they really respect and given advice what to do or not to do. Thats so humble from our cops. So sweet of them that they asked to forgive and stay safe. My friend was taking few photo of HAL road and showing how Bangalore looks like. But ok we finally experienced something new. Happy days 🤟🏻💐
omg i love this story!!! this is India haha, I laughed so hard. Sorry bro for laughing :D but its really nice that you told us this story, thank you! :) editing and animations were sick!!! and i love your mimic hihi you are so calm and cute, no wonder the indian policemen were so friendly :) greetings from germany
