The biggest INTJ-ENFP connect is really this. ENFP's secondary Fi wants them to be authentic to themselves - and that means improving. The INTJ absolutely needs to see improvement. ENFP is perfectly cool to be led into improvement. (As long as it doesn't involve some strict schedule that needs to be followed everyday!) Plus, the INTJ has patience with the ENFP's need for frequent escapes into randomness and their failures. The INTJ is so darned patient and kind that the ENFP feels ashamed and internally motivated to get their act together. Then Te_child wakes up and pushes Si_inf to please co-operate (at least for a while) and make that honest and earnest (Fi_aux) effort to improve. But Ne_dom doesn't help with trying to focus on any one thing. Here the ENFP leans on the INTJ's formidable Ni_dom to keep them focused.
"Not everyone want to self improve and optimize" Sad and true ! Same as we can't help people who don't want to be helped. It funny when you say " and... the people, this is not going to be easy." XD
Thanks for this, I'm an INTJ with aspergers and it's hard to notice that people don't give a shit about what I'm blabbering on about. It kind of dissapoints me that no-one is super honest with me, but I'm glad you gave insight on this today. I'll make sure to bring up other topics in the future. -Metaironically, Gama
I think the key is to recognize that self-improvement does not necessarily imply increased efficiency. It's not even a question of how difficult the task is. It's more a matter of recognizing values beyond how quickly or smoothly something can be accomplished.
Interesting. I took self-improvement and efficiency to be two entirely different topics INTJ's could let up on. Although one can self-improve in efficiency of course. I was wondering if it was meant in the way you replied to. Well INTJoseph, if you read this, please clarify.
Of course ! Self-improvement isn't just efficiency. It's way more than that. As an INFJ I can easily tell. For me self-improvement is more about being a more moral person, more sensitive, more compassionate, more wise, more morally perfect. Improving my own personality. I'm focused on it primarily because of extraverted feeling, but I'm not opposed to the fact that this can bring more efficiency cause if you help others feeling better, you can boost their efficiency. Efficiency isn't my main concern but it's an indirect consequence of my main goal, making people happy. INTJs usually don't understand why I'm so concerned about people and their emotional state. But where do you think any progress in life comes from ? If there is no healthy humans for making the world a better place (no matter what your definition of better means), there will be no change, no efficiency achieved. We individuals are the source of any form of improvement. So I usually wonder why INTJs limit themselves to efficiency cause there is many other ways to be useful. It's probably because the world value efficiency way more nowadays and everyone must absolutely be productive, so I guess INTJs and ENTJs will rarely be challenged in their view cause they're made for it. It's just my interpretation but sometimes I feel like extraverted thinking seems to be pretty narrow minded sadly cause logic is the only thing that is worth it. It makes sense to think that way since we value logic so much in our modern societies. But I just think it's nothing more than a model, simply a dominant view to see things. There is more religious countries who adopt a more religious model. So, to be completely honest, seeing efficiency and logic as the one and only way to live life that rules over everything is an approach that lacks a bit of maturity to me. I just mean that the world is so much more than logic and being efficient. I mean, the existence of very emotional people who live their life through emotion without being logical whatsoever proves this. They're born from nature so why do they exist if everyone is supposed to just be efficient and that's it ? Not that far from actual robots when you think about it. Are they just an error for existing ? Even for INTJs, pursuing efficiency is a main concern for them in life, but as INFJs know too, we know that's actually not our very first way to experience the world. It is actually through intuition. Intuition has little if no place in the world, but that's how we could always decide to live life, through what we think is the best path. Actually we still kinda do in the end. Intuition is also a valid way to experience the world. If you compare to ENTJs who have extraverted thinking as their main way to live, you can certainly see the difference here that efficiency is the only thing they live by. So why not using them as a mirror for reflecting on yourself and trying something else ? MBTI is about discovering there is different types of people around the world who experience life differently and pursue different goals in life. So that means there isn't only one type of goal, not only efficiency (despite what society would like to make us think), not only one way to experience life. That means you can experience others, change your perspective and live life differently. On a more personal note, I sometimes feel hurt by people devaluing extraverted feeling and considering it as a useless function, cause I think they miss the depth of it. What they can't see is that by being interested in everyone and every type of personality to try to please them, you can easily notice so many different kinds of people, all with different goals in life and I try to support them in all their goals and they're all valid (as long as they don't endanger someone else's goals, it will always be a no no for me, I think it's not right and there is other ways to find). Valuing people so much allows me to see there is so many different and valid ways to look at the world. Because people's emotions are necessarely related to what their desires are. By learning others, you learn their world view. I just think that's an underrated way to open someone's mind. It is in that light that MBTI has some similarities with extraverted feeling to me.
To the INTJs: Some people actually enjoy figuring things out in their own slow, inefficient way. Some people need to think things through themselves before allowing someone else to plan for them. Some people just need to bang their head on the wall a bit. Sincerly the ENTPS...
As an INTJ with an ENTP best friend I should say… I’m sorry that my INTJ brethren’s enthusiasm to solve problems or passionate want to have a positive affect on a loved one’s life was intrusive on others’ thought processes or action plans. I find that INTJs really just want to make things better, but many times we don’t see that it would be better to hang back and simply ask if our input would be helpful or is wanted. Hopefully the INTJ was well meaning and only needs to recognize when and how to help friends while still respecting their thinking space. Hopefully, they can learn about this with you.
I love your channel. Your production quality has improved astronomically and continues to do so. That, along with the content and your delivery, will continue to boost views. It's summer. It's the lull. Now onto your topic. I know I'm guilty of trying to "help" people who are sharing their life issues by relating to their problems with explanations of why it could be happening to them and then giving them solutions to remedy the issue or ways to use their situation to their advantage. I don't understand why people wouldn't want to self-improve and be more efficient, not how it could be ... boring?! My stars. I have taken to, instead of diagnosing and fixing their woes, simply saying, "I have thoughts." If they ask about them, I will find out if they want to analyze causation and fix the problem or if they would like to hear my thoughts on why their feelings fit the facts. Guess which one people usually pick. Yup.
@Jessica Rose thank you for the compliment! My argument in this video more is made towards the INTJ RU-vidrs who I think could find more interesting ways to deliver their messages than the way they currently do. I personally have experienced that people need different approaches to best get an idea across and with RU-vid in particular if the content isn’t attention grabbing than failure to get an idea out is going to happen
@@intjoseph Oh! You mean the boring ones! HAHAHAHA .. the monotone ones who just kinda talk in an almost scolding or condenscending manner, like a know-it-all but without the comic flare or aptly timed sarcastic comment. Right on.
Personally, I think INTJs are some of the most hilarious people out there (if one likes dark humor and sarcasm, which I do). But not everybody has a great sense of humor. Part of me wonders how many unfunny INTJs are mistyped ISTJs. Just sayin. (not necessarily commenting on all the youtubers, but I can think of two)
btw i like that you changed the background from your appartment to this kind of backgrounds and that you experiment on improving the videos o/ ( i didn´t like the colourful mountains picture tho xd)... update: i wrote this before actually watching the video fully, this is kinda funny i talked about improvement of your videos. it fits the content If ppl around me don't want improvement I just have to get them to do it without them noticing. But yes it's frustrating if someone is resistant to it
@Shibe Jobs thank you for the compliment! I listen to every comment (even those that I may not agree with) to try to improve the content on the channel
@Marius Seifferth I was a bit conflicted on the mountain picture. In the future I will continue to use scenes like that in balance with others as I like them too at times
I found the words " you have so much potential" yet their trying to change u to be better... not sure if its for you or them.. can be seen as controlling.the criteria is understandable yet cold, but they are system thinkers.. Buuuuuuut, Half of them think so long on the goal, they miss it due to thinking and no action.. they fantasise..
You’re right it gets boring- I noticed this with other channels and different content- There are some that just hammer away at their subject... with cloaked distain or resentment lol I haven’t been watching their content, even though I’m subscribed, because they just hammer away and it has become boring and negative.
@snecktacular your sentiment is the exact reason why I created this video. There are really great ways to get points across that everyone can utilize and should try instead of following a wash-rinse-repeat type type format. If someone is subscribed but not watching than it’s pointless
@@intjoseph Oh. I do. And I feel like a dipstick for working during or spacing out those Friday live feeds. I even have a calendar on my phone and an alexa (I call Computer of course). Are you still going to do those? I might need long notice and short notice lol.
@@intjoseph Have you thought of the 16 personalities "Giving Advice" or even just "Adive INTJs Give" or "How to be a better you - INTJ perspective - self-improve and optimize - FUNNY" and I still think an INTJ meeting discussing taking over the world with several INTJs (all played by you) having a video chat or in person but only like four actually show up. LOL - might want to keep Project Blow Up The Moon on the down low though ... just sayin'. By the way, how is that INTP trapped in your basement doing on the plans for the Space Laser? I have an ISTP on hold to build it when it's ready. Prototype A-1 Spicy Bold is due by 2024.
