Something else that contributes to my ability to make accurate predictions is a lifetime of reading. I once predicted that two people would get married before they ever started dating because they had a Beatrice/Benedick thing going on, constantly insulting each other. Sure enough, 18 months later, they were married.
@Pug Ninja my first live stream is up on the channel if you would like to watch it. The summary is just that I play games, answer questions and chat. I want to provide a relaxing time for all who watch
Great explanation on how Ni finds patterns to make predictions. From my understanding, Ni decides what patterns to look for based on what Fi focuses on at any given time.
@Antony Reed that is an interesting idea worth further consideration. That would make sense to me from the stand point that Ni and Fi are both introverted functions though I would wonder what role Te would take as Te sits between Ni and Fi. I think there is more to this equation
@@intjoseph I would suspect, once Ni has found relevant data to address, Te and Fi work together to figure out what to do with the new pattern. Take the idea of luck for example... Those that feel they are lucky (Fi), subconsciously look for patterns to find new opportunities (Ni through the reticular activating system) then once they find these, make plans to acquire these opportunities (Te & Fi). Likewise, those that feel they are unlucky (Fi) use the same method to find patterns of this being true (also Ni using the RAS). At least this makes complete sense to me in my field. I often target Fi specifically to help people change their mindset fundamentally.
@Antony Reed after doing some research I see where you are coming from and understand your conclusion. I would be curious to know what your thoughts are on helping others that do not have Fi in the cognitive function stack
@@intjoseph from what I gather, I tend to agree with the idea that we all have the ability to use all of the functions. Whether that is combining two functions in our main four to synthesize a function or what have you, we all have the ability to Fe or Si or Ti or Ne. Of course, sometimes I have to use different methods for different people. I'm curious to dig further into how typology relates to effective hypnotherapy and NLP.
@Antony Reed I concur that everyone is able to use each cognitive function. In regards to typology and how you have to change methods for certain people you might be interested in my theory on the cognitive functions being like languages. I go into it in my video on why INTJs are not human
When I tested INTJ long ago the lady told me she could tell I was INTJ because I seemed more interested in the personality types. Some personality types just don't seem to care.
@SuperSpecies thank you for your comment. You are not the first to make this request and I have tried to improve the speed of my videos. Outside of this video possibly being the exception to my efforts there are reasons why I am this way. First I have a lot of English as a second language viewers that if I were to talk faster might have a harder time watching. Second there are viewers that find my videos relaxing. Thirdly longer videos = more views which in turn means growth for the channel (definitely not inefficient). Lastly I am not sure how to talk a whole lot faster. I will still try hard to improve my videos for those like yourself that want me to speak faster just understand it’s more inefficient to alienate others from a growth perspective
@@intjoseph for efficiency, those that have English as a second language, they can always slow the speed down if needed. Your enunciation is clear enough there should be no problems even at a higher speed. As I interpret your very slow speaking with what you cover, you’re covering perhaps 5 minutes worth of material in 10 minutes, if even that much. A better use of my time is 10 minutes worth of material in 10 minutes of time, instead of going out of my way to figure out how to listen to it faster. I can type faster than you’re speaking on this video, and I can read faster than I can speak and be understood readily, and as fast as I can sustain typing (I’ve measured around 90 wpm on my laptop when I know what I want to say) that’s still much slower than my speaking or reading. Seriously, your speaking speed is so slow I time-share and think about other things in between words, which may result in me losing entirely what you’re trying to say. If you lose watchers/listeners because you speak way too slow, I don’t see how that’s efficient for you, either, because videos don’t edit and upload themselves.
@@intjoseph I've made a few videos myself and didn't realise how slow I speak. In fact, you speak faster than me so I understand the challenge! Quality is valuable in a youtube video, so I hope you continue in this vein. :)
