I want to thank you for all of these incredibly wonderful videos I'm 68 in the last time I studied Spanish in college I was 21. I remember receiving very good formal instruction in college. The quality of your classes remind me of this. You are very clear and allow me to feel confident that I slowly developing a foundation on which to climb further and further upward. I would Sao Paulo with my girlfriend visiting her family and when I return to Chicago I'll be starting classes with the Sao Paulo later who lives in Chicago. I want to hit the ground running and do the best I can and committed to working hard. Your classes online will be used by me to supplement and augment these classes God bless you thank you. I am a little interested to know about you and how you learned English in Portuguese so well. I hope you don't mind me asking I don't mean to dig too deep personally. Thank you laird

this channel is so good. I am moving to Floripa from Saint Louis in August, and this is the best br pt youtube channel I have found. I had thought I would learn more by just listening to videos that are exclusively voiced in Portuguese, but I think if I had learned all the rules in this set of videos initially, I would be months ahead of where I am now. he is so clear and concise. kind of dry, but if you're really trying to improve your Portuguese as fast as you can, you will love them. The 2 longer verb conjugation videos are extremely useful resources, and the examples of celebrity interviews and social media posts really seem to demonstrate the language well

Here we go, I got a beginner text book and I shall use your channel as another source of learning. Hopefully I'll persevere and learn the language, (and maybe get to visit Brazil soon).

Embora apenas comecei quase 2 anos atrás, ele é mudando minha vida. Como um americano nunca pensei que precisasse uma outra língua.. e.. eu não.. Inglês é rei no mundo né. Mas então um dia encontrei uma pessoa em um jogo e depois nos tornamos amigos e então comecei aprendendo português (BR).. sotaque-Rio.. ainda nunca tem uma oportunidade a falar.. assim minha motivação está faltando.. "dwindleing" como dizermos em inglês.. de qualquer forma... Minha vida mudou porque decidi a aprender uma outra idioma 😊. Um novo mundo para explorar. Na verdade, quero aprender italiano agora porque preciso uma pausa de português 😅 mas provavelmente não vai, não agora. Compreensão de português falada é o coisa mais difícil pra mim e eu só quer falar com pessoas e assitir móveis sem legendas 😭

I just found your lessons a few days ago. I'm not a beginner but think they're superb: so clear and interesting. I'm off for my next trip in ten days, so plan to listen to as many as I can. I agree the differences between Brazilian and European Portuguese are great than between American and proper English.😂 I really like both varieties of Portuguese but really, mãe is such an ugly sound.
