Right? It’s a fantastic synth. Sound wise I really like it. It sounds unique which means it is easier to justify adding to a setup as it covers new ground. To my ear it is reminiscent of fm synths like the d50 and dx7. It does that glassy, airy thing really well but adds very modern feeling modulation.

Hi Lester. It is a great synth snd worth waiting for. Sound design with it is real fun and it’s nice to use different workflows than normal too. I’ll definitely be doing more on this.

I don't get this. They put all this R+D into a machine but do absolutely ZERO to market it.

@@AcidTechnoMan5000 They haven't showed it's potential, it doesn't sound all that on there site. Red Means Recording di a great job, but why stop at him. Loopop would do a great job showing how it would work. Andrew Huong would take it in another direction. I don't know much about marketing, but sending out review models to a some of these key reviewers would easily do wonders for getting them known, as well as demonstrate it's potential, which they are simply failing to do/

@@theoysterhouseboys I just have received my Vector last week and it definitely is one of the synths that impressed me the most with it's really unique approach to modulation. The depth of this still quite affordable synth (considering its built quality and feature set) is amazing. I would really appreciate a follow up video of a one year "veteran" like you ;) It would definitely benefit from more tutorial videos (RMR and Ben Jordans videos were also great) by the manufacturer though. It is a rather complex machine that really needs you to re-adjust your normal routines for sound design. I struggle to sometimes do easy stuff (how do I actually initialize a "patch" btw?). Their manual is actually quite well written but of course can't cover everything and details of workflows are getting lost, when only reading it.
