I have built 2 Glenn-l designs from scratch. Gret boats! Simple to build for any beginner with good intent. The Zip is a classy looking boat.

would be really fun with a 3 cyl 70-75 OMC on the transom. probably no heavier at 220 lbs than a big clunky 4 stroke

That's nice the zip comes pre cut now I built the old one from glen l that you had to cut your own wood chines plywood parts

@@zipkit1967 hi Mark can you order it without the forward seating area? ie. the steering would be mounted in the stern seating area, and just a nice smooth deck all the way up to the bow, making it a 2 seater?

Hi James, Sure! it doesn't take any special skills or tools. Basic hand tools are all you need handsaw, plane, drill, and screw gun

The hull about 375-400lbs... probably under a thousand when you drop it in the water with everything loaded in it.
