Great new addition to your portfolio Ladi. Much broader appeal from a price-performance standpoint than the over-the-top performance of the Cyberbike. And looks relatively easy to assemble as a DIY project. Love the frame design and modular battery packs mad from commodity cells. Keep up the great work and innovation. Very psyched to see the what the future has in store for you!
Im a 15 year i made my own 1kw electric motercyle i wanna continue doing these ev related stuff ik what to do but i don't know how to do guess i need still some confidence and his videos always motivates me. Your doing a great job sir keep it up thanks a million 🙏🏻
To water proof connections, use Die-electric grease on inside and use Liquid Electrical tape for outside, CAUTION: it will stain everything when wet, several applications may be needed for good coverage. Peals off nicely if you need to disconnect. Double wall heat shrink tubing with glue, if used properly, is good for water proofing too but much more difficult to remove, so long term application really. Samsung 40T 21700 cells, just a bit bigger than 18650.... roxors you boxors.... 35 amp discharge, 4 amp hours and about $6 usd. each. but only use PURE nickel strip for packs, BMS battery has some really nice big bluetooth battery BMS units. Pre wired very nicely. I got the 60 amp ones and very happy compared to amazon, banggood, ali express etc.. this thing is a beast...
Looks like a great addition to your portfolio Ladislav. Lighter, less robust, cheaper than a V4.2, and still with great performance. Looks like the frame has gone in-house? Continue your great work.
This my first build Im on a slow electric bike. Can't wait. Also ladi&margret how will colder months and frost affect the battery? Or no difference in performance as Im in Scotland
@@AlrexBarclay hope you get well soon! have you considered the weather proof aspect of this bike? i'm no specialist but some people are saying it's not weather proof
Love the design And so cool 😎. I want to have one but I have a specific requirement. I don’t like bicycle seat at all but prefer motorcycle seat which is comfortable to me ha. Hope I find one. I love the color Orange cuz perfect for outdoors to see better in blended environments like survival etc
Inspired work bro...I love the typical Czech outfit in all your videos almost...white socks in sandals from Vietnamese market ..shoes for every possible situation, goes everywhere with you...
Been watching a few of your videos, wanted to know if you take in custom requests. You obviously have a huge passion and love for this, which makes the probability of you building it perfectly much higher than myself (Im not that great at building things as complicated as this). So I would like to discuss the possibility of buying from you a fully built bike. For a fixed and righteous price of course, I recognize work a job well done and pay according for such. I am currently living in Europe, Portugal.
Amazing!!!!! I'm going to start saving now, I want one of these in our van. Could you please tell me the weight limit for the rider to safely use one of these?
I hope and pray he starts building his ebikes and selling them. They are buy far the best in the world, that is no exaggeration. If you look up any ebike, they all fall short on specs and are WAY more expensive. I hope he does a kickstarter or Indiegogo or something.
Just showed my gf this video and she really loves this frame, might be able to get her onto a higher powered ebike eventually, she’s riding a 48v 500w beach cruiser currently, but she not ready for all that power yet. I have the Electric Enduro frame I call the #HellbirdBanditBike, it’s 134v, 100a, 2680wh, 13,400w...I love the power;)
It's a super cool idea, but I got questions: 1. you said 2,800 dollars BUT with the 3 bundles you have to buy at your website its +300 euro AND if you are not good at electricity you also have to pay additional 500 euro 4 the battery and the 3d printed parts? 2. if something breaks you can repair it yourself? Or should i contact you? 3. when i have questions in general can i contact you? 4. what would you say do i need, like knowledge and tools? 5. as i said great idea, and I'm happy that are people like you out there, but its only worth 4 me if it works in the end, so i hope you can understand that i as a "normal person" is not really a good mechanic 4 building such a bike at its own. But still great idea!
Absolutely incredible. So impressed. As asked by an earlier commenter, what is the rider weight limit on this bike? It’s not for me but for someone who is rehabbing from surgery and has a few extra pounds- the American kind. 😎
Can you make an e-bike with this method that you can put pannier bags on? I'd love something like that one day- something I can get groceries with and also go down a few rough trails. Any plans for something like this? Love your stuff ^_^
Verry beautyful and powerful bike. But 60km are verry short distance. Most of all, for a bike like this. I think, I never would get down of this bike. Thats the reason, why small motorisiced bikes are moresuccesful. But to have a short hour big fun, is this the right bike. Thanks for sharing.
You can easily do 80km per charge with adjusted riding style. Once start riding one you quickly realize how helpful this range actually is. I don’t even use 60% of the battery most of the time.
I like the bike. I like the simplicity of hub drive motors but am concerned about un-sprung weight. You clearly like the bike so how does the bike feel with such a heavy rear wheel?
I love this channel!!! Thank you for sharing. That’s an awesome e-bike!! By the way, what’s the song you used in the first half of the vid? I dig it. Thanks again.
Cool bike. Awesome system. Iis it possible to change geometry somehow? for example headtube angle. Have you experimented with mid drives too? I want to build trail bike suitable for jumps, so weight balance is the key for me. Keep up:)
This one is the one I was waiting for, will be my winter project! Because here in Flanders, Belgium we have al lot of little backroads (asphalt & concrete), are there roadtires or intermediates you suggest? Keep up the good work!
Wow a fellow Belgian, by chance do you know to make theses bikes street legal in Belgium? I'm interested but I have a feeling it will require almost as much effort and money to register it and make it street legal than to build it
@@MrNoziv Making it street legal in Belgium will be diffecult, because much faster than a speedelec so no registration as a spedelec, and it still has pedals, so it can't be a motorbike, and registering it as a motorbike will be diffecult also I presume, because it's a selfbuild bike, not something you buy with a dealer...
@@wimvansevenant2884 Yeah that is what I thought from the little amount of research I did. Problem is that even whit removing the pedals to make it a motorbike it would be almost impossible to register it and even worse to get an insurance for it... Too bad because as a city commuter it could be great.
Hi, love your bikes and videos. I'm interested in the Winder, but I'm a heavy guy at 320lbs (145kilo), will the frame take my weight? Not interested in off-roading, but live in mountainous area and need power to go uphill. Also living in California are the parts available out here? Thanks in advance for info
I've been watching your youtube videos and love your content, plus and Margaret if beautiful! Anyway, I'm from the UK, is it possible to buy one of your eBikes fully made? If so can you let me know the different prices of them please?
I like this one better, more like a push bike, I just finished converting an old mountain bike total cost not inc bike was around £300 and I am addicted already. Best of both worlds, push bike when I want to pedal and motor bike when I want a bit of help up hills or more speed, personally I'm happy up to 25 mph on my bike, any faster feels like I need full protective clothing with full face helmet which is not what I want from a bicycle ride.
Hi, does all these components are still available ? And also the battery that it is already assembled is still available? Im in Mexico you said that all the parts are globally. So I h=just wanna make sure that I could get all the parts.
Hi Ladi, this really looks good. But after seeing your video and understanding that the battery encasement ist part of the main structure I am afraid to tell you that this bike construction does not have the structural integrity to let you drive safely with 60 km/h or more. Also the brakes are not certified for this kind of velocity.
Hi Ladi, how much range would i have if i use the same setup but half power? Im thinking build one but wont need that much speed and ill need bigger range tho.. what do you suggest?
really nice one! what would you say, the winder or 4.2 bike for every day use? wich you prefer? and can you drive the winder in rain? greets from germany
