I don't know about the n2 specifically, since when I changed exhausts I also did headers overpipe and front pipe. The setup I have now is quite loud, nothing like factory.

I cut out the resonator and kept the cat. I experimented with a couple different ways and this gave it the best rumble. Cutting the cat out made it far too tinny.

Yeah it's pretty loud. only the q300 system from invidia is legal in QLD. Everything else is too high in the db range. But I never got pulled over.

Did you get a tune done ? Or just a flash tune ? Around about how much Torque did you get for the sake of getting rid of the torque dip? I’m just trying to get as much research as to a catback exhaust and headers since no use getting a nicer car if I’m constantly being pulled over lmao Thanks for answering questions my dude, appreciate it !

@@RYUzakiisLight got a tune done. Removes the torque dip and pulled 135kw to the wheels (on e85)

Nah not really.

If you get headers front pipe over pipe and exhaust with a tune you get a nice little bump in power and a nice sounding car.

Thats a fully upgraded exhaust kit, expect pretty loud and with a tune you will absolutely see some gains. Not so much from the OP and FP or even the catback, moreso from the headers, thats the cake item. OFT stage 2 with all that for sure or you are wasting your time for performance gains. Also do the tune immediately with the header install... for sure. Those sensors can throw CEL Most people can skip OP/FP but if its in your budget hey, why not right. All those are really doing is adjusting the sound even more (usually louder.. more pronounced aggressive notes..) You get some gains yes from OP and FP but its not cheap and not alot to gain performance wise from the upgrades honestly, you are just deleting more cats.

I've never heard the mxp comp, but this exhaust is the best rumble I've heard from a brz so far.

David Wright so I just install my N2 . Sounds amazing bro but one my tips it’s weird . Like the right side it more out & the left is more in. How is your? I try to fix it but I can’t /: it gets me annoyed.every-time I see it

@@itsguatesosa9559 Just fiddle around with the mounting hook rubber. Takes some fiddling.

@@itsguatesosa9559 thats easy man, you just rushed with the bolt on at the end, take your time to get the fitment right on the hangers before bolting it all up tight, thats all it is. Takes some fiddling of the piping on the hangers.

Kinda depends on your age group man and impressions. If you love loud and have an IDGAF attitude go for an N1. The N2 is toned down a little bit but its still loud. N2 is perfect for my tastes, I find the N1 a bit too obnoxious to be driving around and meeting clients in for work and stuff, I am not a teenager or a mid 20s kid. All exhausts are louder and raspier sounding with headers, both EL or UEL. At the end of the day its just a 4cyl man. Also, you better get a tune if you do all this to get the most from your setup. Lots of options, in my opinion OpenFlash for the win.
