All that is done to achieve this sound was Invidia N2 catback and Tomei UEL header. As well as OpenFlashTablet. Stock frontpipe and overpipe.

I the Invidia N1 and loud as even without a UEL header on my GTS 86. Even pops at 3k RPM

Yo bro Im having a hard time which to choose on my NA 86 should I go for tomei type80r and tomei uel headers or this and tomei uel headers as well? Idk man but this looks great sounds great too its not that loud imo

Sorry for the late reply. Tomei's are known to be one of the loudest exhaust. I've seen a couple of people both Tomei UEL and Catback and they ARE LOUD. My set up is not loud in my opinion. Video does not do justice how the sound really is. However, for some it might be too loud already. That being said, i want to switch over to the greddy revo single exit to change up the tone a bit and increase the volume.

I've been running Tomei UEL headers and the N1 catback for almost 2 years now. Im looking for something a bit quieter, maybe 10%-20% quieter. From your experience do you think switching my N1 to the N2 would do the trick? Or is the difference between the two catbacks not noticeable with the Tomei UEL headers? Im mostly afraid of buying the N2 just to find out the cost doesnt make enough of a difference from the N1 to make it worth it. Thanks!

I have a n2 right now and been thinking about getting the tomei header is the high way drone bad? Cause it’s my daily and I use it a lot on the highway

Depends on your definition of bad. Yeah it does drone quite a bit past 70mph. Although I personally don’t mind it because you could really hear the unequal length. That’s why I left those clips on the freeway to hopefully get an idea. Of course video does not always do justice.

Are you still looking at changing your catback to something else or are you content with the sound now that you have the Tomei UEL headers? Also have you thought about changing your Front Pipe at all and to which front pipe if you are thinking of doing so? I have the Invidia N2 as well and same as you I feel that I’ve wasted my money because although it has a perfect deep tone it’s insane how quiet it is. It also has a fair bit of drone which is shocking because of how quiet it is, I’ve tested for leaks and no leaks either. How was the change in volume after installing these headers? For me I’m either going to get these headers and hope they are loud enough for my taste or look into something a bit louder because the N2 is basically as loud as stock it’s so quiet 😪

After doing the headers, I honestly am thinking about keeping it for a while! The headers definitely made the car louder by a couple of notches. Especially going from the FTspeed headers to tomei. It just sounds so much better. If anything I may get a Greddy RS race cat back in the future but not anytime soon. Maybe do a high flow front pipe with the N2 but I do enjoy driving the car a lot more now. Video doesnt do justice how much louder the car is. Which is why I don’t really go pass 6k because how much louder I thought it was

@@RJMANFIT Okay sweet that gives me a lot more hope for Tomei UEL headers because I always felt the Invidia N2 had the perfect sound for me just that it wasn’t loud enough and I wasn’t sure if I would need to grab an entirely different catback to achieve that volume which would be quite expensive. Where did you order your headers from, seems sold out like everywhere I look

@@YSoAggressive I ordered mine on MAPerformance a month ago! It looks like they’re sold out too so just keep looking around. I know Gruppe S also makes very similar looking and sounding header as well.

As long as you have a tune. You don't really need the OFT specifically. A lot of the 86 enthusiasts will say absolutely. Especially if you're going catless. There's more air flow going through and the ECU needs to know what it needs to do with that air. If you go catted then you are ok. That being said, there's tons of people with the new GR86/BRZ that are running catless headers without a tune

I think it sounds good. Especially with UEL Headers. I didn’t get it because I was worried it wouldn’t be loud enough and at the time it was a lot more expensive than the N2.
