This is what Anissa looked like at the end of the comic when she was drawn by Cory Walker. Cory is the character designer for the show so the designs all more resemble his art than the other Invincible artists.

@@PastaCouch I think in some scenarios outside of this series, having a white stainless attire despite being battle prone is an easy way to prove you can win your fights completely unscathed, proof of superiority. (Think good ex is when Anissa rams through that kaiju and completely dissipates the blood, remaining perfectly clean vs Mark who is typically covered in blood and heavily damaged after most of his battles) In other words, they can afford to wear white because they do not go into battle expecting it to get dirty.

3:14 I love that theme starts to kick in because mark could easily have lied and played dead but him sayin nahhh is why he’s such a great character. Through Marks body language, long pauses and somehow knowing about a crew ship being in danger, she probably put 2 and 2 together and deduced Mark is listening to someone on comms, hence why Cecil said smart girl.

Either way I still think Anissa just put it together that Mark was listening to someome otherwise they wouldn't have made Cecil say smart girl. The biggest clue being Mark randomly knowing about a kaiju attack.

I love how intimidating Nolan and Anissa look when they're just floating still in the air, either arms crossed or just down, they just look menacing, maybe it's the Viltrumite suit design, idk. Mark never looks that way lol.

Posture probably helps too. Mark usually has either a relaxed/laid-back stance, or a fighting stance. Nolan and Anissa just "stand" there, erect, firm, composed. *Like military officers.* That can be intimidating on its own.

He could have easily done what Cecil told him to and just say yes, but I get the feeling Anissa wouldn’t have believed him because she has super hearing. Thus knowing that he didn’t mean it. Apparently Viltrumite education is beating the living dog piss out of their young ones, cause I remember Nolan also telling Mark something on the lines of “your true EDUCATION is about to begin now”. Meanwhile we have Anissa is saying basically a similar thing in “you dare to interrupt your education”? And both proceed to lay a war hammer on Mark on both occasions.

I personally loved Anissa's character in comics. Perhaps they could change her plot/arc a bit different. And I think she is already portrayed different here. Remember her first appearance in comics. Her design was like a gorilla, her tone sounded very masculine. Now look at her here. She is designed attractive, her voice tone feminine. I think they are thinking of changing her character a bit more. However, I still think they will include that horrific event in the animation.

Whats crazy is that no matter how flawed her logic... she she right that his stubbornness is costing human lives... regardless whether or not they are fault for the threat against the planet... by aquiesing he could save countless lives... even if he dies in opposition they will still achieve their goal since earth has no option to defend itself... he's being stubborn for no reason.

The facial animation of Anissa changes in each shot, and it's weird af at times. I haven't noticed such a thing with the other main characters, at least not to this extent. Given two years and another two months for the final four episodes, this is just crazy! Yet the show is great, no issues about that.

I think a lot of fanfiction, like what if there’s alternate universe where Gohan is Invincible and Goku is Omni-Man, where The Saiyans are conquering the Universe and where Frieza doesn’t exist in this Universe which means Planet Vegeta wasn’t Destroyed and Goku did not his head, as a matter of fact in this version he’s name is not Goku it’s Kakarot and he does meet Chichi the same way as Nolan meet Debbie, this would make a great fan manga
