If they would have started this at 128 GB of storage, I would be more apt to consider it. 64 GB is too little and 256GB is too much for me. I currently have an 8th gen iPad with 128 GB and will probably be keeping it for a while. It still serves me well, and I get 10 - 12 hours of screen on time before I need to recharge the battery.

I actually am looking to upgrade from thr iPad pro to the 10th gen. My old pro is a 64gb and it holds a lot of apps and photos and i only use mine as a tv with RU-vid,Netflix and other streaming services.

I'm curious... The 10th gen Smart Connector looks similar to the 9th gen, does the 10th gen keyboard folio keyboard connector fit on the 9th gen?

It possibly can work but I don't think so. The iPad 9th gen has curved edges so the Smart Connector accessories all attach on a curve/half-circle on the iPad 9. The iPad 10th gen/Air4/Air5 have flat rectangle sides so their Smart Connector accessories all attach flat. But that's just my guess.

why don't you mention that an Apple Pencil can be attached to this ipad 10 in the area of the smart connector for the keyboard? The smart connector is magnetized and can be used to hold the pen perfectly... weren't they serious or didn't you know? Greetings.

Got the yellow iPad 10. We love it! Didn’t get the Magic Keyboard, too expensive. We have no need for it. We have the M2 MacBook 💻 Air; awesome keyboard for typing.

The ONLY thing that would keep me buying one of these over the Air, theoretically if I were in the market today, would be the lack of laminated screen. Other than that, this thing is a winner, A14 is still blazing fast and everything else about the iPad is amazing! I think the price increase is a little steep BUT you do get a lot of iPad for that money.

I think if it was $350, Apple would sell a bunch of them. I’m totally fine with my iPad 9 that I got for $279, I think a lot of people care more about the price than the features.

I was waiting to see the 10- needed to move up from 2019 7 th generation -sure exceeded everyone’s expectations…but this huge price increase was disappointing …I wanted 256 gb and so I got the 9th generation for 454 …600 for the 10 generation was just too much .Like the screen and speakers though.

I love my 256GB iPad 10th Gen. I use it for media consumption and social media and it works great. For a cheaper keyboard option case option I recommend the Logitech Combo Touch. The keyboard can be detached and the case a kickstand for media consumption and a space for an Apple Pencil or a Logitech Crayon. The perfect setup for anyone in my opinion.

Here's something curious. I ordered the IPad Air M1 64gb on Jeff Bezos site for $520 USD. I always thought retailers were NOT allowed to discount Apple products that are currently sold on Apple's website. So I skipped Apple because the Bezos warehouse was minutes away so I get my deliveries fast. I didn't realize that the Ipad Air wasn't the entry level Ipad so I went on Apple website to check prices. Yeah the same Air I just received was $600 so $80 more on Apple than what Jeff Bezos & Co are charging. What's up with that. The Ipad is for my 70+ year old mother. I got her the first ipad back in 2010. She uses Samsung phones but the tablet has always been Apple. The Ipad Pro 2019 I got her developed these white spots on the screen after the warranty ran out. The spots got bigger in the last 6 months. I never had a Galaxy Tab with this issue. So I was hesitant to go with Apple again. But I've been following the EVU lithography space recently (aka ASML's global monopoly on that technology that China is nowhere near acquiring) so I wanted to see what the M1 was all about. I loaded one of those F1 racing games and yeah it loaded quickly and there was no lag in jumping from one race to the next. ASML and Apple are going to really take over the whole business of high end consumer grade chips. Not sure if Cannon, Ikon, Intel can catch ASML, TSMC and Apple now. Btw, loving my Galaxy Fold 3... my IPhone 12 I use for work just can't compete with folding phone functionality, especially in the car where it unfolds into a navigation and entertainment center.

You’re completely missing the point. This iPad is POOR VALUE, and reviewers are correct to point it out. Apple went out of its way to make this product. Very difficult to purchase and use. $449 starting price, no P3 color gamut support, no screen lamination, no 5g cellular capability, 2-year old A14 processor, significantly reduced access to future software and security updates, 64 gigabytes of non-expandable storage, only 1st gen Apple Pencil support with mandatory use of lightning to usb-c dongle for charging, overpriced folio keyboard with cumbersome design, usb-c support with exact same data transfer speeds and charging speeds of the previous lightning port, no pro motion display. It is not worth it and it’s frustrating that you don’t see or even highlight all of the setbacks that come with this product in this video.

You’re pointing out all negatives and you are clearly not the target market. The target market of this iPad doesn’t have all that knowledge of tech that you just mentioned. I do agree with a lot of what you said but I like to cover positives of the product. I will make a separate video for covering the cons.
