Great Video keep up the good work the lights on each channel are actually intentional. They show where your faders were originally its like scene recall. Thanks
As you mentioned in the beginning, the lights don’t get stuck; in other words, it’s not a bug. It’s just preserving the last level the volume of that channel was set at prior to the last shut off. I could appreciate the feature, but it can get dangerous at times when plugging into live powered speakers lol. Love your videos, you’re awesome, Deb.
Thanks for sharing, Deb. This would open up a world of possibilities for posting to social media. Question: I don't have the Zoom mixer, but could one follow a similar procedure with a DAW? --e.g. mic vocal and guitar (or run the latter direct) through audio interface to DAW and out from computer to camera app on iPhone?
Your question was a good one and prompted me to do video. I tried it and it works perfectly. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CtM7i-BmV_Q.html
Thanks for your explanation. I have a few questions: 1. Is it possible to record multiple tracks separately or only one track in iPhone? 2. Is it possible to record to the Mixer without computer or iPhone? 3. Is it possible to use 48v for different channels separately?
With analog mixer you will get 1 stereo track or two mono tracks. You can record your mixer outputs to any external recorder. This mixer does not have recording capabilities .
We set a few room mics around the room to get the whole band but I noticed the video would stop recording and start again giving us little clips instead of a full length video of our song . Any reason this would happen ?
@@DebErney thank you Deb we were thinking the same thing . Next time we are going to try just recording the audio with the mixer in GarageBand , use other phones or GoPros to get the video then link them up on the computer
Am I able to use 3 mics simultaneously with this setup? Next question, can I input my iPad to the mixer as a soundboard while using the iPhone as the camera?
@@DebErney I want to use the iPhone camera as the output. I want to plug an additional iPad to channel 4 (along with mics on channel 1,2,&3) to play sound effects also. Im using channel 4 as a line-in.
I never subbed so fast. This is what I want to do with my own channel cuz it’ll make editing take much less time. I like that you’re informative but play guitar too.
@@DebErney thank u deb 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 I really learned from ur videos.. I watch many videos in Arabic and English but ur channel is different 🫶🏼🫶🏼 thank u from SaudiArabia 🇸🇦
When I connected my L12 and opened the camera app. It works but it only records channel one on the left channel and channel 2 on the right. The rest of the channels don’t send audio though the usb. When you record a video with just the microphone on channel one , does the playback on the video sound on only left channel as well?
Hello Deb. 🖐🏻 i’m powering my zoom mixer by a TENDAK USB hub. Im having problem with the connection from my mixer to iphone. When im about to select ‘IOS’ in Audio I/F, it says Disconnect USB cable once.
@@DebErney can i feed the output of the Zoom l-8 to my iphone and be the audio feed of the video it's recording? I mean, if i want to video record using a mobile phone while playing guitar and singing to a mic connected all in this mixer
Hi Deb, thanks for the video. Do you know whether in this setup the Livetrak is drawing power from your batteries or from the power that’s plugged into the iPhone Connection adapter? When I try this, the Livetrak advises me to Please Power Down after just a couple of minutes, even when I have a fresh set of alkaline AA’s installed. Thx
If your mixer has USB output you should be able to provided you setup the iPhone plug in last. I have a few videos with this that may help. Also helps with newer equipment/phone. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QkV57x4Ww2k.html
how to make video camera audio left and right balanced? im using Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and direct to iphone with lightning adaptor, but when i start record, it just left channel audio in result
Hello Deb. Thank you for your video. I've got the Tascam 24 and I want to connect to my apple iphone pro max 14. How is the cable from the iphone connected to the mixer? I understand the iphone camera adapter, but not how or where the cable is connected to the mixer. Please explain? Thank you Deb!
The LIVETRAK L1 is a mixer designed as a mixer/DAW. This means true in and out of separate channels and the ability to connect in/out with iOS. With an analogue mixer/recorder you will need to get an audio adapter for your iPhone to go into your device. Something like this will work. amzn.to/3XD7x9y
