Any politician not elected on the first count should not serve as a Minister or Prime Minister. Their failure to do so states clearly they did not work for the people who elected them. The people rejected them. I believe our current " T " had to wait on several counts to scrape across the finish line. A perfect example of who not to have as your leader. If he didn't work for the people then what makes you think he is going to do it for them now? I contacted some TDs on this matter but to no reply.

For this topic it's like the scoliosis treatments, while terrible it didn't affect but a small cohort of kids, I don't remember people marching in the streets to protect those kids, same with this one, apathy and people just immersed in their own struggles explains a lot of it I think. There is no island-wide cohesive 'community' or 'society' to challenge these things, sone groups and lots of atomised individuals with competing interests, looks like to me, how I'm doing?
