Brace Yourself! as we take you to the Disneyland of convenience stores, Buc-ee's! On the last leg of their southern road trip, Brent and Grace make a stop in northern Georgia to show you what this magical place is all about!
I have a dream of doing a US roadtrip of regional chains that don't exist in Canada. Buc-ees is certainly on the list (along with with WaWa, which kind of cracks me up because the Beaver and the Goose are two very Canadian animals).
😂 you should feel right at home visiting with the Beaver and Goose! We haven’t tried Wawa yet, but it’s definitely on the list, I’ve heard good things! I’ll say, from my research, don’t bother trying A&W or Tim Horton’s when you come down here for your road-trip, you’ll be SORELY disappointed!
I've only watched 6 minutes of this video and I want to live in the bathroom at this place. I could absolutely just panhandle my life, sleep in their urinal, and eat all of that food forever.
We haven’t been to a Bucees at breakfast time yet, but we’re definitely planning to change that next time we head south. Thanks for the heads up on the tacos, we’ll try them out for sure!
We end up planning all of our trips down south based on when we can get to Bucees! We just changed plans for next month so that we could hit one for breakfast to film another video
Thanks Jody! We didn’t get a chance to see much of Calhoun, but we were really happy to be out of the hustle and bustle of Atlanta while we were there!
We stopped at Bucc ees for the first time last week and the breakfast beast burrito is the bomb and those dang beaver nuggs dog gone .Great work on the vids
Thanks so much for the kind words and for taking the time to watch! We just had breakfast at Bucees for the first time a few weeks ago and did another video of just breakfast items. It really is the best, even the things that aren’t great are still better than 99% of every other gas station treat in the world!
That’s good French, this is a French phrase, impressive for a woman in Georgia u.s, pleased to see you love bucces, a travel centre with a sense of fun, great it’s there for families, much love ✌️❤️🇬🇧
I’m pretty sure that, where we are, I’d classify 2 hours as nearby when it comes to BUC-EE’S. I’ve driven further for less lol. Glad that you’ll be able to go more often, and if you can grabs Bucs and the beach at the same time it’s always a win-win
I can tell you that when you've been driving for 4 hours and desperately need to use the restroom Buc-ees sure SEEMS like the happiest place on Earth. No other place outside of my own home that I'd rather park my keister and shed a few pounds.
Just found out about Buc-ees while visiting friends in Texas. The brisket sandwich is a must get they said (true!) but the roast beef one has the yummiest bread and creamiest swiss cheese FULL of beef and I will be looking for that again. I always buy fudge on vacation trips, but must say it was a dissapointment here. Lots of flavors but it and seemed like it was made days before.
We've never even seen the roast beef sandwich, but that sounds amazing and we'll definitely keep an eye out the next time we're there! I would definitely agree with you on some of the fudge, it's hit or miss, but the Pecan Praline kind is a must try, in my opinion, I've never been disappointed by it! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment, we really appreciate it!
We just got a Buckees here in Athens Alabama not too long ago. I went there to check it out, but haven’t eaten anything yet. The bbq smelled incredible and I want to try the fudge.
We’ve had those, and I agree, they are amazing! Unfortunately they were sold out of all the Overbite flavors except for the krispie version this time, soooo disappointing!
They are always busy, but some days are definitely worse than others. On our way to Atlanta we stopped through on a Friday and it was PACKED, took us almost 30 minutes just to get out of the parking lot, but on the way home we stopped on a Tuesday and it was manageable. Didn't help that we went during the Spring Break migration!
Is it just me or are their brisket tacos pricey? They are small and cost 5.99 for 1 and I need 3 of them If I am hungry. That's about $22 for a 3 taco lunch at buc-ees, with a fountain drink. More if you want chips with that😬
I definitely see where you’re coming from there, you can easily get that bill out of control trying everything. Maybe the reason we haven’t thought of it as being TOO pricy is that we always seem to go there when we’re on the way back from vacation where things are always way too pricy to start with. If we were just going there on a lunch break from work, we’d go broke quickly! 😂
I’m not sure if different locations have different types, but the only things I can remember are auto diesel, ethanol free 87, and the normal 87, 89, and 93. They do have several EV hookups for Teslas and such, so you’d think that flex fuel would be something they’d be at the forefront of as well
I think there are definitely healthy options to find, but they’ll be harder to spot for sure. They all have fresh fruits and veggies (carrots, celery), and several snacks that are sugar free or for other dietary restrictions. It’ll be like a treasure hunt!
The entire point of Buckees is not to have any healthy food. Healthy food is not fun. Can you imagine Tofu and kale vegan breakfast barbecue sandwiches?
If chocolate is heated to a high temperature, the cocoa butter inside melts and separates from the rest of the ingredients. It settles on the surface in a white coating. If there's excess moisture, it causes the sugar in the chocolate to crystalize, which gives it a white, speckled or spotted coating. Duh!
