Getting Raiden at C3 really spoiled me. When I switch to my other dps I sometimes forget that they can't dish out that cracked damage that Raiden does. This is why whenever I do Spiral Abyss, I rarely use rational team and just give the op support trio to my other dps so it balances out.

Your videos always help me build all my characters, I just love how you use math to prove your reasoning, rather than just saying that she's good!

I managed to C0 R1, the first time around and got Raiden to C2 this, I'll surely be going for C3 next time she reruns

I promised to myself that when her first rerun came I will pull for her constellations but... Yae Miko came out and I've been waiting for her 7 months so I couldn't resist to reunite them first so... Maybe on her second rerun I will do it.

Thank you so much for your opinion! I am now less worried of not getting C3 or her BiS weapon. I went all-in this re-run and got her C2 and helped a friend to get his Raiden to C2 as well.... I could've gone for C3 with that "budget", but I prefer helping a fellow friend who plays with me and we get tons of fun, than getting 18% more dmg for myself... he is now in love with his Raiden and heck, his hits harder than mine! I need to start farming Emblem set again haha we will try to get C3 (saving primos obviously) when her next re-run comes in around a year or so... for now... let's start saving for Kazuha!

I had her @c2, and during her re-run I decided to pull on her for C3 and her weapon. Hard pity on both though. With Raiden national and my other team, I managed to clear abyss with 36*

If only Ayato and Ayaka isn't close then I would've probably roll for more Raiden cons.

engulfing r1 diminishes in value using the hypercarry raiden build compared with the catch. the difference can be as negligible as 6% at full buffs

BTW, actually Sara’s best weapon is Elegy for the End (Venti’s bow) and not Skyward Harp since Sara’s Burst can proc Elegy’s passive and buff Raiden’s ATK by 20-40%. That can make the gap between R5 catch vs Engulfing Lightning even smaller due to ATK% diminishing returns. Edit: nvm, it seems it doesn’t stack with freedom sworn’s buff

For some odd reason, i always get lucky in raiden banners, on her first, i got c1 within 85 pulls, and on her rerun , got c3 in 95 pulls. Im very happy that my raiden can hit like a truck now🥰

As someone with c3 raiden with R1 homa, I can confirm she’s the single best dps I have, counting in hu tao, eula, ganyu etc

I have a C0 Riaden with a R2 engulfing lightning. Got the second one while trying to get Akoumaru for my Eula. But didn't get a single Akoumaru after doing about 110 summons combined on its banners. If I had summoned on Raiden's banner instead might have gotten her C1 and maybe gotten a few more sara cons. And the funny thing is after about 115 summons on Raiden's original banner and rerun combined, I still only have C1 sara. I hate this 4 star rng.

I went for C2 and now I'm broke. Now I'm just practicing self control and saving for Kazuha. C3 is so tempting but I'm grateful I even got C2.

Been playing since version 2.0 (Ayaka's first banner) and I've never touched the weapon banner before, but I'm too lazy to fish and I'm gonna get my Raiden to C3 anyway - so I wanna sport Engulfing Lightning. Plus, it just looks sick on her. I'm one talent-levelup away from her being triple crowned and I'm just going to do what I can to maximize her damage. I already have Benny and Sara at C5, so one more Sara and I'm good to go. Only thing I'm missing is Kazuha, but I guess my Nahida works wonders too. Especially if I can get A Thousand Floating Dreams on her sometime. I'm unsure if there's ever going to be another character I will invest so much resources into. I have Raiden at C1 right now and have about 260 wishes upon release to try and get two constellations and Engulfing... chances are slim, but I'm going to try anyway.

I got c3 raiden on the original banner and engulfing light, i hope you can give us a sara build in the future (artifact wise) because im a little confused on what to arm her with when im also running bennet with noblesse.

I'm at C2 Raiden and was rolling on this Raiden rerun to try to get C6 Sara (from a C4) and maybe C3 Raiden. On my 60th pull, I got C2 Qiqi and C6 Sara, and so have to decide whether to continue wishing for a C3 Raiden or a guaranteed Ayato next banner...

I have an r2 spine and that 10% crit rate allows me to run a crit dmg circlet while maintaining a 60%+ crit rate (my raiden is at 61/170 atm). I think having the ability to find a good crit ratio is very underrated for us f2p/low spenders that don't spend a penny on artifacts. That is why i consider EL a bait, because other people just run the same ratios without taking into account the consistency and ease of build that Spine and The catch provide. Great video as always, but don't forget to tell people that the mechanical array in his weakened state has a -50% resistance to all elements

I have guarantee on this banner (Yae Miko/Childe). My aim was to get Polar Star which I did, but after pulling Kagura's Verity. So, now I'm between 1. Pulling for Yae Miko 2. Taking my Raiden to C3 3. Waiting it out for Dehya

I only got Engulfing for my c0 Raiden so xiangling can get my r5 the Catch. And it looks better on her too. I got really lucky on Kokomi’s banner and got her in my first ten pull so I just decided to do it. I have like ~14k primos left and I’m deciding if I want to try for more Raiden cons or not

I got her C3 first banner, then her weapon this time. Definitely broken, since I can now clear abyss 36* with ease, unlike before I have to try hard a little bit to get 36* :)) this time floor 12, i use team raiden - bennett - xiangling - ningguang for the 2nd part. Lacking xingqiu does not hinder anything lmao. And my raiden is far from perfect: 2k atk, 53% cr, 120% cd, 230% er

Good content as always, but please show us how many EM your kazuha have? Also the stats of other supports.. I think it's also a great content if you can show us a C0 and R1 version of this.. Maybe you can borrow from a friend's account? You so won't have to make another?

Was checking on Raiden banner's timer. My stupid muscle memory pressed triangle (10 pull) instead of circle (back). Got C3 Raiden, was saving my pity for Ayato (I don't have a Hydro DPS). Hope I'll get enough Freemogems for Ayato 🙏

Had her at c0. Pulled c2 today after winning 2 5050s, super stoked to try her out now

This vid was very effective in getting me to pull for C2 (lost 50/50 twice, no chance at C3, burned all ~300 pulls I had available.) Annnnd slightly regretting. Might have preferred two new 5*'s. Oh well at least I picked up 6* Sara on the way. (And 6* Xinyan... which is at least marginally more useful than another 6* for my 25* bennett.)

Could I speedrun Abyss rotations with my C3 R1 Raiden and C5 Aquila Bennett and C6 Sucrose? Yes. But I could also just put Raiden on a team with no supports other than VV shred and enjoy her animations for just a bit longer every 2 weeks.

I am guaranteed but I will be saving for Ayato.. I do have C2 Raiden from her first banner and am really happy with her damage with The Catch..

Man i wish this video appeared in my recommendation before I pulled Engulfing Lightning at C2. And no I wont even find out the improvement (if any, over R2 SS) bc I dont have the handguard to upgrade Engulfing Lightning. For someone who is willing to spend to not have to repeat Abyss 12, the time for getting hand guard is highly non trivial.

I have a c3 raiden with r2 engulfing lighting and the highest I’ve dealt with full buffs is 630k plus Sara has a r4 elegy for the end

It's so weird to think anyone would need an EL, let alone R5, after C2 or C3. C2 seems enough to nuke the world with good artifacts and the Catch, plus supports.

With the grace of god. I managed to get c3 out of pure pure luck. I got my first copy of Raiden in her first banner, and on her rerun I was at gaurantee to get at least c1. I only had 20k primogems and managed to get a Raiden copy at 18 pity (gaurantee), another at 24 pity (50/50), and another Raiden at 77 (50/50). Sadly, lost the weapon banner and now stuck with a donut.. but still, won't complain with the insane luck that happened. All the best to every single one of you hoping to get a Raiden!

Does kazuha play big role here? or other anemo char can make it up too?

These weapon comparisons can be summed up whether you want your raiden to have naginata or an oversized fork..

The game blessed me with 4 Raiden shogun in 88 pulls. That was on her first banner. I have put 130 pulls or so into the current banners and still only have C4 Sara and C3 Bennett........

In hypercarry raiden team if you have sara c6 then only one lacking stat is critrate and deathmatch is top tier weapon for her, with my artiffacts i have a little bit more dps with deathmatch r5 than EL r1 (less er tho but it's easier to get er in substats than crit anyway)

Okay, time to get my c3 raiden. I got my main dps Hutao and Ganyu to c1. Maybe I'll add Raiden as another dps for my team.

I have C0 with R1 deathmatch with bennett+mona (no kazuha and C2 sara is lvl 20 only) and at full resolve I did 127k on initial slash. My ER is 210 only since I'm using deathmatch and atk sands. Still building her and trying to get crit rate subs on flower and feather so I can use the catch. My goblet and atk sands is cracked with 22 er each so I don't think I'll go with er sands which I've never had after 3 months of farming emblem can you believe it.

If Kazuha isnt getting rerun next patch ill probably try for c2 and hope to the gods.
