Always complains about how people complain about him being a Nintendo catering Fanboy and he wonders why... Then ends up making a must buy video on a multiplat game using the switch as the thumbnail. What a hypocritical tool
Am I the only one disappointed by this collection? Not one game from Street Fighter Alpha series nor the Street Fighter III series (yes, there is a series like Street Fighter II had its series). Unfortunately (or fortunately), I bought Shredder's Revenge when it had a slight discount. :)
They would have to talk with Disney but yeah, who knows. Smash bros did it and they had to talk to square enix on top of Disney so i reckon capcom could do it with some luck
It should have been the best console ports of all series: 1. Hyper Street Fighter II Turbo Max 2. Street Fighter 3: Third Strike(PS3 & 360 re-release 3. Darkstalkers(Saturn) 4. Night Warriors Darkstalkers 2 (Saturn) 5. Darkstalkers 3(Saturn) 6. Cyberbots(Saturn) 7. Tech Romancer(Dreamcast) 8. Star Gladiator(Arcade) 9. Plasma Sword(Arcade) 10. Red Earth 11. Rival Schools(Arcade) 12. Project Justice(Dreamcast) 13. Power Stone(Dreamcast) 14. Power Stone 2(Dreamcast) 15. Final Fight Revenge(Just for the library)
@@chaotixcompany1427 Saturn port of dark stalkers 2 had the dip switch option where you can chance the music and stages to dark stalkers one which I always appreciated so yeah I’ll definitely say that’s the best port. In terms of Saturn being the best port of vampire savior I would agree since it does have the entire roster of all three vampire games in their but I will say vampire chronicles for Dreamcast and psp would be my definitive port of the game. The rest you’re spot on with
It was totally the big prize of this collection for me, even though I'm a massive Darkstalkers fan. I had always really wanted to play it since seeing images of the squid guy so long ago.
It looks like a cool collection. I only wish they had found a way to squeeze Marvel vs. Capcom on here, but can understand why that would've been tricky with the licensing.
They can't because they would have to have permission and share profits with Disney which owns Marvel Comics. With how greedy Disney is, they would want the majority of the profit which makes it impossible for Capcom to make any money. Not only that Nintendo wants a share of it as well since it's their system the games are ported to. If you want to play it, it's better to just go for an emulation system like Miyoo or Ambernic.
I think this collection is freaking amazing! I have been waiting for the Dark Stalkers to finally come to modern consoles. This will be best on my Nintendo switch for me. I am loving these Capcom collections. They need to do a physical master pack for ALL of the Megaman games. All of the settings & different versions make this really fun. That is so awesome there are 5 different Street Fighter 2 versions also. Excellent compilation. Street Fighter 2 hits big with me. It was so popular & fun & no matter which arcade you would go to they ALWAYS had a version street fighter 2 there. No cross platform play is a big bummer though.
Super Gem Fighters being included already gets me interested, I loved playing that on the Saturn. Cyberbots, Puzzle Fighters and the whole Darkstalkers series makes it even more enticing.
Definitely buying a copy even though I've played most of these games a million times already on a variety of platforms. It's definitely great to see a fighting game collection like this from Capcom. Hopefully we get a collection for the Versus series.
Getting this for Red Earth and the Darkstalkers games. Finally they’re getting some much needed love! That street fighter game sounds like the game that came out on Xbox, years ago. It had all the different versions of characters to pick from
Me too but I have an Legends Ultimate arcade machine with a Coin Ops X card and it includes all the Capcom arcade games. There is just something about having an arcade fighting tournament on a real arcade machine with some friends and a case of beer. :) Yeah, it is a bit more expensive since the hardware is around $750 and I payed another $100 for the Coinops X USB stick but the thing have almost all arcade games who existed on it (no, not Polybius) so it is worth it if you are an arcade fan. If not, then this is an excellent collection to buy for a bit more casual beat them up gaming. And yeah, it is a shame they didn't include the Capcom Vs Marvel games on it too.
Been looking into Saturn for the 1st time lately and I’m blown away by the cool Japanese exclusive fighters and shmups. Glad these darkstalkers games are here now.
played most of these games on a pocket emulator and loved them. I'm glad there is an official game collection now. I'm definitely going to pick this up
When I think of capcom these are the type of games I think of, colorful fun fighting games, I wish they would make more they don't require a huge budget
@@Ihatevideogames334 but fighting games are fun. Your mom comes over and plays with my joystick all the time. She's really good at finishing moves. We always have tons of fun. I can't wait until she comes over to play this collection.
@rs. Ironically these type of old school artsy sprite based games, with technical fighting mechanics took more time and were just as if not more expensive for them to create.
Nope, it's insanely well regarded look at how many people are calling it "underrated". Despite not being a commerical success on the same level of Street Fighter/Mortal Kombat.
@@uppercutgrandma4425 if someone gets that hot and bothered over compilations or anchovies for merely existing, they might want to consider therapy. Sounds like their masking some emotional issues to me 😏
Don't get me started on what we need from capcom. Asuras wrath 2 Viewtiful joe 3 Rival schools reboot Star gladiator reboot Dino crisis reboot Chaos legion remake Resident evil outbreak remaster. The list goes on.
Absolutely cannot wait for : 1. SF3 Collection - -- SF3: New Generation -- SF3: 2nd Impact -- SF3: Third Strike -- SF3: 4th Strike “4th Strike” would include all stages and audio tracks from all 3 titles, as well as from their arranged console versions, as well as several additional playable characters, that Capcom planned to include in the cancelled 4th installment of the SF3 series. 2. Marvel vs Capcom Collection: -- X-Men: COTA -- Marvel Super Heroes -- X-Men vs SF -- Marvel SH vs SF -- Marvel vs Capcom 1 -- Marvel vs Capcom 2 -- Marvel vs Capcom 2 ↗️ Upper MVC2↗️ Upper would include all stages and audio tracks from all 6 titles, as well as from their arranged console versions, as well as several cancelled characters from the series. 3. Capcom vs SNK Collection: -- Capcom vs SNK -- Capcom vs SNK Pro -- Capcom vs SNK 2 -- Capcom vs SNK 2 ↗️ Upper CVS2↗️ Upper would include all stages and audio tracks from all 3 titles, as well as from their arranged console versions, as well as several additional playable characters, that Capcom planned to include in the cancelled 4th installment of the CVS series. Each collection could command $75.00 USD, for the physical editions, easily.
I have a CRT but not everyone does so I appreciate the efforts that cap on have gone to recreate the feel and nostalgia of scan lines. If it’s like the bundle edition option then it’s very welcome as I think there are authentic options to go for if that matters to you. It does to me. I can’t hook up my switch to my CRT that’s including the possibility with the bitfunx OSSC. It doesn’t downgrade from HDMI to Scart in my case as that what my CRT is.
I have my copy coming tomorrow. I can hardly wait. They should’ve included Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, the version of SFA3 with extra fighters, like Guile
Good video. Not a big vs. gamer, but compilations always bring at least something for everyone. Im just waiting for that street date for Cowabunga Collection.
Cyberbots is the game the Jin is from. He's fairly popular in Marvel vs Capcom. It also had Cyber Akuma as a mech which was the basis for Cyber Akuma in The Vs series. Also, this compilation is really designed to determine fan interest in Darkstalkers. You also prob don't see many people online as the game hasn't come out yet on physical which most fighting game fans prefer.
Super Gem Fighters (also called Pocket Fighter) was Capcom's answer to Sega's Virtua Fighter Kids. It was a crossover game that put a new twist on the whole fighting game aspect trying to attract the game more to younger players. It's too bad the game never got release for Nintendo system til now cause the hardcore audience who the game was made for didn't like the game.
So happy to be able to play more darkstalkers. I have it disc only on ps1 but i used to play this one in the arcade at a bowling alley a lot so seeing that there are more games of it I'm super stoked. Can't wait for my copy of this compilation to arrive!!!
@@uppercutgrandma4425 Oooor, maybe I want to have it on my Switch, play it online with my Switch owning friends, enjoy the museum extras, and pay Capcom for making a product I like. I already have most of these games on Saturn & other platforms - but it’s cool to have them all on my current platform of choice.
@@PacDork it's not an argument. Look at the consumer talking about all the junk and trinkets he's bought. You could've had this rom dump collection a long long time long time ago. But, instead want to play this on the switch, which is well known for it's great and reliable controls. Lol
@@PacDork how DARE you support an official product with your own hard earned money. REAL gamers only play pirated games on water cooled illuminated PC’s and sit in the same cheetos and sweat-caked racing chair every day fighting off the steady encroachment of tendinitis 🧐
@@uppercutgrandma4425 Like I said, I have most of these games in other forms. I want them on Switch. I play fighters just fine on Switch controllers. If I want to be super hardcore, I’ll get a fighter stick. Sorry for liking things. 🤷♂️
Pocket Fighter is amazing for the fan service alone! This is an amazing collection and one of my most anticipated games coming out this year! I loved all of these games!
Top notch stuff RGT 85. This is another dope Retro Collection from Capcom and a Must Buy for me. Super Pocket Fighter(Super Gem Fighter) is one of the Main Reasons I am getting this Collection, alongwith Darkstalkers, Red Earth and now knowing that the Street Fighter 2 Anniversary Edition is pretty much the Definitive Version, that is a Added Bonus aswell plus SF2: Puzzle Fighter is pretty neat aswell, Overall this is a quality and good little Retro Collection too get on any System or Multiple Systems guys 👍.
How's the online match making for Switch? I got the Switch version of SF Collection, and that game was pretty much dead on arrival. Very hard to find a match.
What Nobady realizes is this is the first time we are getting hyper street fighter 15th anniversary in a next gen console . The only other way to play this game is in arcade machine , Xbox and ps2. It’s basically super street fighter 2 turbo but the ai is completely redone so the game is fair . In the original super street fighter 2 turbo the ai was ridiculously over powering
A note about the CRT filters (And your comment). "if i want a crt look, ill just play it on a crt" I mean, thats all well and good, but understand that CRT's are not easy to come by anymore, and many people dont have the room, or dedication to gaming that you do, to go though the effort to acquire a CRT for 'one game collection'. I appreciate that they give you the OPTION, where other companies remove options. So please don't complain about something that's optional. Options are always a good thing.
My only real nitpick is that the filters aren’t telling _what_ they are cuz saying “oh, I play with type E” isn’t exactly what I’d want to say around the water cooler if the things come up in conversation
This is cool. I hacked my Neo Geo MVSX to include all the Capcom Play Systems games which includes all these games. I don't really need this collection, but I may pick it up in the future.
Would have been cool if they would have included Star Gladiator and the Saturday night slam masters series but at least some of the more obscure fighting games like cyber Bots and Red earth is included.
Well, I'm pretty certain they will make a Vol. 2, with these plus Rival Schools and hopefully a Marvel vs. Capcom game. I'd like Bloody Roar too, but that was Activision I think (Eighting is the developer). Maybe Eighting can do a collection of those games too.
All but one of these will be available on Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium. So unless you’re set on a physical release, must have Red Earth or online play then you might want to wait.
I pray this sells huge and would inspire Capcom to talk to Marvel...and Disney for a Capcom VS collection with X men vs Street Fighter, all of the Marvel vs Capcom, XCOA, Marvel vs Street Fighter
I was excited to get my copie I got it for PS4 and my switch I'm not very good at darkstalkers but i absolutely love the games, read the comics, have the art books.
I would love to see a sequel to this game. Capcom has many a fighting game which deserves to be preserved for future gamers, like Jojo's Venture and X-Men Children of the Atom.
Damn, this makes me mad that I blindly downloaded the SF 35th anniversary collection w/o checking to see if it had all the different play modes that Alpha 3 offered originally. It didn’t and while it ain’t bad overall cuz theres still the other games bundled in, I really miss those different modes besides the story line in Alpha 3 🤷🏻 this looks cool tho 👍🏻
Me Capcom arcade collection that I'd like to see come out is the one that has all the night Stryker series and the Street Fighter Alpha Series and the first final fight that would be the perfect beat him up game for me because those are my favorite classic Capcom arcade games
I would love if Marvel splurged on a compilation of their 1990s games and coughed up the various licensing fees to Konami, Capcom, etc to get all those beat-em-ups on one game.
I bought this for the Series X and PC. Best place to buy this game would be either Xbox/PC or Playstation if you plan on playing lots of online play, crucial to have hardwired internet for fighting games. Switch would be the worst place to get this on if you plan on playing online. Way too many people use wireless connections on switch. I had MK11 on every system which has amazing netcode on PC/Xbox and Playstation. But on the switch it was horrendous TBH If you're playing offline? then different story, Switch for on the go for sure. Im buying this for online play.
Commenting this before the Nintendo direct gets announced for June 24th with announcements like the new Donkey Kong game to start off the presentation and then updates on upcoming games like bayonetta, pokemon sv(briefly),mario +rabids and an upcoming direct for splatoon 3 and then updates for Mario cart 8, switch sports and mario strikers and then some indie's like silksong, a mention of the squire game and all sorts of games coming to the Nintendo switch and then some surprising announcements like a zelda collection and punch out for the switch and platinum games bringing metal gear rising to the switch and then a teaser trailer for botw 2 and then to finish it off a new mario game gets announced, so get your hopes high because the leaked fire emblem game is a completed version for the switch and not for what it's ment release in ;)
