Coffee isn't bad for you. Anything in it's limits is good. Coffee is a drink that dates back to extremely long in history. Here in south india, we start our day with one small glass of filter coffee. Coffee has certain chemicals that are actually GOOD for you. Tea's are usually drunk when we want to relax, or before sleep. This is because the herbs and spices in tea help in relaxing and induce sleep. Have tea while the day is coming to an end, and have coffee when you're starting the day. Do not switch times. Tea and Coffee are opposites and they can't be used as substitutes to each other. Remember: Control is the key

I am saying this by my experience, I am med student and only 1 cup of coffee used to make me feel anxious,acidic,less focused,lethargic …….. it can happen to people who are sensitive to caffeine

Yes you may be allergic to caffeine..but it doesn't happen to all ...i feel energetic on drinking coffee..i don't drink much ....max 2 cups..but I ve not faced any problem and not even my parents who r drinking coffee from almost 60+ years..

Yes , for some pple (we all r damn differ) 1 cup is fine. But for rest, nt even ill ones, it could create disaster. Damn personal. Also depends from how long is "consuming experience". Some pple suddenly finding themselves in trouble even after small amount, wen worriness, lack of life force, ruined nerves system coming. Sudden.

I never experienced any crash, that's a myth. For the last 40 years I have been taking 2 or 3 cups throughout the day. The key word is moderation and self control.

The reason why you don’t experience a crash is because you are drinking more than one cup. As an experiment, drink only one cup in the morning and monitor your alertness around 6 to 7 hours later. You will crash.

@htondkar no still doesn't happen. I drink one at 6 am or 7 am then I go to work and by 11:30 am I take a second, sometimes I skip and have the second at 4 pm or 5:30. After this, there is no more coffee until the next day. Every human has its own until biorhythm.

@@finanzalexMaybe you are different. Some people metabolize caffeine much better than what is considered normal. But most people I’ve seen depend on the second cup in the afternoon to avoid the crash.

@htondkar I have been doing a diet with almost no carbs. No rice, no sugar. I consume honey instead. I noticed that if I have rice for lunch by 3 pm, I am sleepy, and I need to wash my face with cold water or go for a walk or do some push-ups to get back to normal.

It increases your heart rate ...if u drink coffee...increases acid reflux and acidity, anxiety gets increased, my own experiences i have shared....but no one talks about it. Thankfully somehow i could leave coffee n tea few yrs back n am really thankful.🙏

Everything in moderation is okay . Dont stress yourself with everything, we are enough stressed in life . Following particular diet and say no no to everything that is available/need in your daily life is a stupid thing to do.

I'm a med student, sometimes i need it to stay awake at night cz no i don't have options then. But it hampers sleep, even if you're tired you cant sleep, as a result you ruin your next day in fatigue, 2ndly It's a physical diuretic that causes excess urination which makes you dehydrate. & also It's addictive. Once you're habituated with this you can't skip it as it causes severe headache

​​@@srijasingh1263if you will eat more raw food you will require less sleep you can push yourself try to fool your mind you can drink coconut milk tea or their coffee recipe. Also personally I never felt energy with coffee may be because I drink 3 times in 6 months for 7 years for taste . I drank coffee half hour before sleep and I just slept.

True... I was a person who doesnt drink coffee or tea... It started at college hostel when i was 23 yrs... During my pg... Then i developed a mind set that i cant be without tea in the evening... When got married the same continued as my mother in law and father in law are also tea and coffee addictics...now i havedeveloped extreme fatigueness and nausea... And temptation to have coffe and tea daily .. a week before realised and quitted... No tea and no coffee... Note : my husband never drinks tea or coffee .. now he is my motivator....

Doctors are fooling this kind of people by telling that ...most of coffee lovers and tea lover are having kidney stones and breathing problems...go and search ...have some knowledge about what u r talking... And for your information I was also a coffee addicted back then...but after I got very bad asthama and sinus...I was in my worst situation of my life that but after i follow this clean i satvic food i cure my asthama and sinus and migraine permanently.... I am not any of their channel bought or something...but it's your choice to believe or not ...

I am coffee lover. I used to have one cup of coffee every day in evening. I prefer light coffee and not very strong. But over the period of time, I realize that my stomach is becoming acidic and i kind off started suffering from very high acidity so much so that i have to cut all the food that cause acidity from my diet completely and was on my medication for long period of time. Now, i dont have coffee everyday but sometimes I truly relise it. So I think any food is not bad when we consume it in a moderate amount.

​ Food is different like satvik, rajsik, tamsik. It's your choice and don't force anything upon yourself. If you can follow it or leave it. Not all things for all one. You can enjoy different types of food, there are lots of choices wheather it is cooked or raw.

I was never addicted to any beverages, but only one remained, lemon juice. I would drink litres in minutes, unsalted and unsweetened lemon juice is my favourite beverage. But I drink it very rarely since we don't buy lemons anymore, Lemons are getting expensive and smaller, loaded with chemicals. This is why I love water so so much. Cheap, and satisfying to drink and contains no calories, drinking too much could lead to kidney problems.

I also love coffee.. initially i used to drink 2 cups per day then gradually those became 3-4 cups. Beyond 3 cups my body feels irritated and my stomach starts to show dehydration symptoms along with restlessness and anxiety. I am not a med student but i do have hypersomniac genetics which i hate. Currently i am at peace with coffee drinking practices and i drink only 1 cup around 10-11:30 am , it goes to 2 max sometimes.

Oh my gosh! Let me just have my one cuppa a day! My grand mum had one coffee every morning and a tea in the evening and lived happily till she was 90 and peacefully left us when she was asleep. Thanks for the facts but truly everything in moderation is good. There is no need to get rid of everything that we enjoy or look forward to. 😊

Preach! When I was a teenager, I used to drink at least 1 cup of Vietnamese Coffee per day to keep me awake to study for the exams. And back then, I still felt okay. But now, I can't even drink half a cup of coffee without feeling all burnt up, overhype, and anxious all over the place. Instead of that, I do Yoga and Meditation everyday. And if I have to drink something, I would choose either Hot Chocolate, Tea or Milk Tea (I have a sweet tooth lol 😂)

There is nothing wrong with coffee. Its an antioxidant & diuretic. If your water intake is enough you won’t end up in dehydration. Little bit of addiction will be there overtime🤪 but I don’t mind it. I enjoy each cup of my coffee. I am drinking coffee for the past 25 years, still get my energy from coffee only!!

Everyone's body is different.I drink only black coffee and only when i feel like having one. Here's how i feel about coffee 1. I don't feel energy crash. The science behind is that it binds to adenosine receptors making us feel more alert but after some time the Coffee gets out of our system and adenosine starts to bind again . So whether you drink coffee or not, the energy crash especially later in the day is only natural part of our body's biochemistry. 2. No your body doesn't develop a dependency on caffeine (unlike some drugs) it's a habit for some people, an identity for some people (yes, some people like to call themselves coffee lovers) and there are so many factors considering how unique each people are yet I don't think anyone's that addicted to coffee. People don't get stressed just because they missed their cup of coffee 3. Caffeine is indeed acidic but considering the size of our body, coffee cannot cause a significant if not noticeable amount of acid buildup in our body and it doesn't dehydrate you unless you drink insane amout of coffee everyday (like 10 cups a day. Do you know anyone who drinks 10 cups of coffee in a day ) And no coffee does not irritate the stomach lining and does not cause constipation, atleast to me and everyone i know who drinks coffee.

Your intention is not to stop coffee but to market herbal tea, please note though most herbal tea doesn't contain caffeine but contain compounds that are sedative. Please consult your doctor if you have any medical issue, do not take herbal infusions all direct.

I am proud I stopped coffee completely and tea I am taking one time as compared to twice earlier. Soon I'll stop tea completely too. I feel much much better now. I am losing weight too. And I feel more energetic and gets good night sleep. 😊

Coffee has some excellent anti-oxidants that are very good for health. Anything in excess is a poison and coffee is no exception.

The acidicity can be a good thing in the morning, according to some doctors, because the stomach is also acidic and everything gets neutralized in the duodenum. That's why orange juice is also good. The caffeine is another matter. It acts like adrenalin on the nerve system and this can cause constipation, true. I like your suggestion of herbal teas. There are so many plants to choose from, it's hard to run out of options...

When I was in school my friends used to drink coffee and used to say how taking coffee at night made them feel awake and they were able to study for longer hours. I also started taking coffee. But then I realised that it had very negative long term effects. When my exams were over and I thought of sleeping quickly I was not able to sleep even if I were sleepy. Also I got more irritated, and got gastric issues too. Then I changed my habit and now whenever I feel sleepy while studying at night I get a cold shower, or I take a small amount of green tea.

I agree. Coffee is a net negative. It also makes you age so much faster. My fine lines almost vanished after I quit coffee.

Drinking coffee daily since 3 years but just one cup or hardly 2 per day never got addicted, and yup it helped me a lot to stay awake and study whole nights 😂🙂

Yeah..this is kinda true.. People might have a more resilient body than I do.. but what I've found is that when I drink coffee or eat a big dark chocolate 🍫 bar (🤤) 1) I'm more anxious and sometimes get heart palpitations.. 2) I'm euphoric (not necessarily a bad thing..) and feel kinda high 🥴... 3) gives me terrible acid reflux.. 4) I'm a bit dizzy 😵 5) i don't get quality sleep 6) heightened emotion 7) sometimes i get emotional outburst.. 8)mood swings I really could add more to the list but this was weird enough.. so I'm ending it there.. I'm probably caffeine sensitive... 😢(I love dark chocolates)

I only drink 1 cup of coffee everyday but it doesn't create the urge to drink more. Secondly coffee should be taken after eating biscuits or some other snacks . It will stop the acidity

Boy ! a cup of coffee or tea , rather black or mostly with whitener (milk) , preferred... Generally , is the choice, that asked by the hosts to the guests or by housewife to her hubby... And ... the answer is received intutionaly through the physical requirements at that situation and position... and that helps to nourish the individual.. is that anything bad ?? The talk ,baby doing is for making excess , habit or dependency ... which is always bad for any type of intake. Be intutional, be cautious be knowledgefull and enjoy the God's blessings.... aamin.
