I just wrote a post about trauma bonding. If the person makes you feel exactly how he is describing those points. Also they will use the same tactics to push you away. If they disrespect your boundaries they are absolutely not for you.

The saying “ you can’t make a man change but a man will change for the right woman” seems to apply to what your saying. What I’m curious about does this still apply when he realizes that he’s found the right woman, but then allows fear to set in, and then he self sabotages and does things to mess up the relationship. Is this actually a fear of having a successful relationship, or an inability to admit to himself that he has behaviors that he doesn’t want to change, or built up resentment he has towards past relationship?
