This is so true. I always had a "type" who was basically a perfect man. It was so unrealistic. I chased a type and got dogged out so many times because I was chasing an image. I let that go and met the love of my life. Our connection is amazing:) He isn't tall and isn't rich, but he has everything else I want. And he's real! Not a fantasy! I feel so lucky to be with him💖 Note: I did not pick him out of my friendzone. I have one male friend who I have never been attracted to and couldn't ever force myself to be attracted to. From another woman ladies...don't give a guy a chance that you've put in the friend zone for years. Just don't. Leave him there. He's bound to punish you for making him wait. That being said...I hear part of the message and can agree, but no. Don't settle. If they aren't your cup of tea, don't make them just because you're afraid to be alone or because you feel defeated. You will end up resenting them once you realize you still aren't into them. Live who you want to love and if there is a lesson in that choice, learn it and move on. I agree that being older and alone sick for a long time has a downside. I had no one to help me except spiritual people who worked on me day and night to support my life. I had awakenings and Learned from their unconditional love and Divine love. I never felt alone. True love is spiritual. Finding true love can be an issue in the world because we are not taught how to attract it. Fake love or emotional love doesn’t always last. Only YOU are the one who’ll have to sleep with him. Also, there is nothing worse than being got by the ugly guy and he dogs you out. ESPECIALLY if he is envious of your beauty OR he has a low self esteem and hates you for lowering yourself to allow him in cuz he HATES himself and then doesn’t respect you cuz you BOTH know what’s subconsciously up. I learned the hard way to take people at face value and accept them for who they are, not who they could be, because most people don't change too much, only slightly, more often then not, they are not a match. Finding a good match isn't easy, but I think that's because we appreciate a good match more when we had to work to find it, and we didn't find the person easily, because where there is more appreciation, there's more respect given which is the foundation of a healthy relationship.

Yeah - so this man likes me for sure. But he comes from Burmese culture - I think they really take their time. This is so hard - he's a really good man who I'm attracted to, and he keeps calling me and likes me as a friend, but he says he doesn't want a relationship (with anyone).
