drove one tankful in ECO and one tankful in NORMAL. Same driving usage (stores, doctors, church. Got 25.3 mpg in eco and 28.5 in normal. Go figure!

eco mode tends to make the user feel like the car is sluggish; spending more time in the acceleration phase and less time in the coasting phase.
