Super Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64 was my favs back when I was a teenager before Zelda OoT came out. The later games succeeded where MK 64 built on the foundations. Wished that you could continue the GP when you finished below 4th, feel for those in front only for their results to never count but felt that Nintendo didn't want the players to loose. Getting 4th or lower in the GP results was more of a challenge compared to winning the races.

The only flaw I found with MK64 was if Peach, Toad, or Yoshi got into 1st place, they were almost impossible to catch up with if they got a good lead.

Me and my friends still play this, but now with mods. Hasn't lost the charm or fun.
