Literally haven’t watched a single Marvel product since Endgame. I knew from that moment that Disney would never make something worth watching again and I chose to watch other stuff, including garbage like Ridley Scott’s half of a Napoleon film.

True story. I saw the Marvel characters at Disneyland this last week. They had ONE person taking photos with the Marvel girls from the new movie in the Avengers’ Campus. Iron man is dead and he had a 45 min wait for photos. I think that sums it up. Could you imagine if they had Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader actually show up to Star Wars land? But no, we get new sequel characters. 💩
A little bit confused here. You said there was only ONE person taking photos with the characters at Avengers Campus, but then you said IronMan had a 45 minute wait? Could you maybe be more clear plz?
@@StormC9101 there was one person saying hi to the marvel girls from the new movie and a hundred waiting for iron man. Maybe 5 or so around the ant man people.

But yeah, that’s proof right there that people go to Avengers Campus for their OG stuff, NOT their recent crap, I’ve always wanted to go to Avengers Campus myself, and that’s what I’d go there for. I LOVE Ironman 3000 and a 45-minute wait for a photo with him would be TOTALLY worth it for me-he may no longer be living, but his legacy most definitely is ❤️
I honestly almost feel bad for Iman and the many tokenized characters pushed purely for superficial, racist reasons. Iman knows the comics n surely KNOWS ms marvel sucks and essentially damaged then cancelled literally ever single time. Just go back to muscle, boobs and heroism . It’s not complicated

As a former 8 yo girl, you're not wrong about what we like. Personally, though, I would have insisted on a cute sidekick like R2D2, a villain who looks like James Bond and an explosion or two. What can I say - I was a tomboy dreaming of becoming a Jedi. Thanks for the video!

Don't call yourself a tomboy! That's too casual and normal for a female. You're a successful business woman who fought against evil men to climb the corporate ladder against all odds and became the CEO where you replaced everybody with women. I see Bree Larson is still using her patented emotional range acting technique which consist of her going wide eyed and looking to the left or right without turning he head, or going narrow eyed and looking to the left or right. It reminds me of Ian McKellen's taking a breath in preparation to give a reply then giving up and just gently lowing his head in resignation.

What Disney does not understand or refuses to understand is that we the public got "the message" loud and clear and have rejected it. In the words of Winston Churchill: You have sat too long. Go and let us be done with you. In the nane of God, go! Since Disney and its minons feel no obligation to stay faithful to the source material, I have no interest in watching their movies.
in the comics she has to absorb energy or she runs out. so the trick is to not shoot energy blasts at her and just wear her down with hand to hand or dodge her until she runs out of gas. they could have incorporated this by forcing her to become weaker each time she controlled the place swapping forcing the other two less experienced fighters to step up. they could have even swapped the powers for an extra level to it all. but no gotta boss girl.
And writing a character that isn't a Mary Sue. And showing that women can actually show a weakness, and use it to develop their character to become someone that this character can be proud of becoming.@@therealking6202
@@danielroden9424 If she absorbs energy to gain power, that could explain the death of the other planet and civilization. She had to power up to fight a big bad, to save the universe, but in doing so she doomed an entire solar system's worth of people. That doomed civilization views her as the devil and claws their way back from the brink of extinction to try to defeat her (viewing her as a big bad). That would require an understanding of perspective beyond "looks like me, I'm represented now".

Anyone else think it’s weird that Miss Marvel looks up to Captain Marvel in the movies? Not because of the quality of person Carol is. But, rather, how does Kamala even know who Carol is? Carol left Earth in the 80s, was gone until it was time to kill Thanos, after he’d already wiped out half of all life, then actively wasn’t present on Earth most of the time because the rest of the universe needed help apparently, and then came back again when Thanos came back again. I’m surprised she’s much of a known figure at all on Earth.
Don't forget the power of non-white girls in Disney movies. Every girl in Disney movies instantly mentally downloads all the information she needs from her male counterpart to be better than him at whatever he spent his whole life learning to do. @deadschooled In your opinion, Infinity War was better, but Endgame had some great moments, Cap using the hammer, Falcon saying on you left,The Avengers Assemble battle cry and many other moments,so IMO and others,no it didn't suck.
You know it's bad for them when it's more entertaining to watch video essays of your company failing than it is to watch the movies you paid millions to make.

The fact that the character was only created to spite DC and steal the character name rights, and only ever had stories when they were about to lose the rights to the character name, tells the whole story. Not even a real marvel character, Shazam!
There's a difference between making a family movie and a kid's movie. A family movie speaks to children on a level they can understand, a kid's movie talks down to children. The fundamental difference is respect for the audience.
I don't think that's the difference at all. A family movie is one that has sufficient plot and development to amuse adults, maybe some veiled adult jokes, but which is also amusing to kids. A children's movie is exclusively to please kids. It's not necessarily "talking down to them". That is often true but it's not inherent.
Well the super hero train had to stop eventually. It's been 20+ years of this genre milking fans for all they're worth. I'd say it was a good run for them. Just like westerns and musicals died so will super hero films. We will ofcourse still see a couple each year but nowhere the same amount as before. Good thing for Disney that they own so many properties that they can easily pivot to the next movie genre fad.
Another great video Robot Head! In my own video I stated that it was mostly Brie Larson that killed Marvel but the awful movies certainly didn’t help the cause! Condolences on your recent loss but great to have u back and keep up the good work!
It didn't start after Endgame. To me. It started when Stan Lee passed away. Stan's always been the one thing that locked marvel down ever since Iron Man 1 came out as well as the films before it like Dare Devil, Fantastic Four, Dead Pool, and the Punisher. He's always had the final say as the creator. But his health started declining. Wife passed away. His family started speaking for him when he couldnt. But didn't anybody find it weird that the moment stan Lee died, that's when Professor Hulk showed up??
Disney is dead. Thier constant attempt to introduce my children to sexualization and sexual preference has left me no choice but to simply not watch them anymore.
It's neither Nick Fury or Sam L. Jackson... if he fights in a chair - he's Steven Segal, the greatest action film star of all time (obviously race swapped to appease modern sensibilities)

This was the best Marvels review. I watched the movie and watched all my favorite RU-vidrs reviews and Robothead really nailed it. I sincerely enjoyed it.
That could actually be a brilliant story line and a ready made excuse for Marvel to fix things lol. Even make it an “Avengers level threat” with its own phase lol
The nearly indistructible and overpowered space Jesus stubborn and self-possessed character already had a role - Adam Warlock. And it was beautiful in the comics because even after all that, he still had major challenges in Thanos, Goddess, and, my personal favorite villain (and my dog's name) Magus.
I've been following and enjoying this channel for ages now. I find myself agreeing with almost every statement and observation made. However, I feel obliged to call out a clickbait title! Unless Disney have announced they are shutting down production on movies in the pipeline for Marvel Studios, this is click bait, I am sorry mr. Roboto. I am tired of all these other channels that post a video titles "Woke Disney is DEAD" and "Marvel is DEAD", every week for the past 3-4 years. I sincerely hope resorting to sensational titles isn't what it takes to be successful on RU-vid. As the Falcon would say "You've gotta do better Robot Head!"
The only reaction that Disney executives are capable of having when they see that their policy is poorly received is: “we haven’t gone far enough with our policy.” The MCU was doomed years ago.
The people that like this movie will forever swear the actors not being allowed to do things like talk to Jimmy Fallon about the movie is what prevented it from making a billion 😂
I think they're trying to make her an MCU Superman when a) they don't need one and b) a superhero that can do everything gets boring. As soon as your universe has a superman, every other superhero is irrelevant, and unless your superman is incompetent, they can solve any problem without difficulty because they're practically omnipotent. Or maybe it's just power creep, where they need the stakes to be higher than ever to seem exciting, which means making characters more and more powerful (and adding more powerful characters) to compensate.
If the movie fails, Disney can cry about sexism. Disney wants to divide the community because then it can champion the 'equality' cause even though it artificially creates the problem. Disney execs are sick in the head
As sad as it is to say it, I don’t think the MCU will ever be the same again. Even if we get Robert Downey jr or Chris Evans back at some point, the damage is already done.
No they never again will reach what they did in the first 3 phases, the golden era is most definitely over. If they do manage to get back up on their feet, it won't ever reach to what it once was, but it might be better than what we have currently.
