actually mouth to mouth is less important as you think. THere is enough oxygen in the blood for 3-5 minutes but it need to be pumped so the pumping is really important. In a city or anywhere else that should be enough time until the professionals arrive. I just did my emergency help learning yesterday and that is what the dude told me

Madame Web may not be a masterpiece, but this review sure as hell is. I'll never watch Madame Web, but thanks to RH I can still enjoy it!

The mouth to mouth part of CPR was suggested to be less important than the compressions rather recently, not that you shouldn't do them. The idea is that breathing is less important than if nothing is moving the oxygen, further cementing the idea that Madame Web is indeed a terminator from the future as she would be programmed with future CPR techniques.

A well adjusted person would have quietly skipped the mom story game by taking a powder or dropping a deuce. But a narcissist would make the scene about herself.

i got cpr certified a while back, and im pretty sure the important bit is actually the compressions, not the breath. as long as you get and keep the heart beating you have a chance to save the patient. you should still do 2 breaths every 30 pumps, but in cases where you cant its more important to just keep doing compressions.

Years ago on a construction site a worker literally dropped dead of a heart attack in front of me, me and a couple of other trained first aiders administered CPR until the ambulance got there and put him on a defibrillator. It seemed to go on forever but he actually bloody well lived. We brought him back! The guy had the worst teeth you’ve ever seen, brownish yellow rotting stumps. As the ambulance drove away and we stood there gasping for breath and eyeballing each other I reached into my pocket and passed a packet of tic-tacs to the guy who’d done mouth to mouth on him and said “here you go mate, you need these more than I do, there was no effing way I was putting my mouth there!” And we all cracked up laughing. I’d rather go through that traumatic experience again than ever watch this movie lol

I think it was written by AI- which is why it ripped off other films in weird ways.

Tommy Wiseau should have introduced and narrated the trailer. No offence to Tommy though, I'm sure he could have made a better movie.

This movie was amazing and the characters were all unique and special in their own amazing way. The plot is genius and grabs the viewers attention within the first 5 minutes. The characters actions are understandable and justifiable from what we know about each of them. The action is paced well and the main character discovering they have powers is interesting to see. I have a theory, I believe Madam web was supposed to be a goofy comedy. I believe it was originally written to be a comedy and originally shot to be a comedy. Then they changed their minds and did some re-shoots to change the tone.

Robot Head, you're wrong about CPR. For many years it has been taught without breathe supplementation. It is universally taught as JUST chest compressions... HOWEVER, in 2003 it would've still been taught with mouth to mouth. Once again the writers being so smart to keep it real like it's 2003

The can of Pepsi in the thumbnail. Two different scenes early where she has a can of soda. She fondles that soda can throughout the scene. I can't decide if it was intentional direction, or the actress was too fragile to pop the top. I am absolutely obsessed with this lmfao. At the end, with a takeout dinner with the technical orphans, there is a set of open soda bottles. This shows incredible character growth as Madam Web accepts the fact that she will never successfully open an aluminum can, but now has Spider Girl Bosses that can supply open glass bottles.

Well, at least you mentioned 12 Monkeys 😆 Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt were brilliant in that movie; it was so good! 😄

Showgirls is a satirical masterpiece! It never fails to make me laugh. The pool scene aneurysm-fakegasm is hysterical. Madame Web sounds like a Spiderman themed BDSM brothel. So at least the casting was spot on. Nice roast Monsieur Head 👍

One point of order though @ 16:20, appreciating the movie is set in 2003, in 2010 the American Heart Association and International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation, updated their CPR guidelines. The importance of high quality CPR (sufficient rate and depth without excessively ventilating) was emphasized.  The order of interventions was changed for all age groups except newborns, from airway breathing - chest compressions (ABC), to chest compressions - airway breathing (CAB).  The most important aspects of CPR are, few interruptions of chest compressions, a sufficient speed (100 - 120 compressions per minute) and depth of compressions, completely relaxing pressure between compressions and not ventilating too much. An exception to this recommendation is for those believed to be in a respiratory arrest (airway obstruction, drug overdose, etc.). A normal CPR procedure uses chest compressions and ventilations (rescue breaths) (CAB). The recommended compression-to-ventilation ratio, for all victims of any age, is 30:2 (a cycle that alternates continually between 30 rhythmic chest compressions and 2 rescue breaths - repeat). However, ventilations could be omitted for untrained rescuers aiding adults who suffer a cardiac arrest, or if the first responder is on their own. Cheers!
