When people say they are afraid the ex will forget about them, they mean romantically. They know the ex is not going to lose memory and they will from time to time pop into their mind. But it is true a point comes when we don't see an ex romantically and have awaken from the spell. That's the whole point.

A lot of people in the comments ask "When will my ex come back?" or stuff like "What if they are in a rebound relationship?" I think some of you need to understand every relationship is different. It also depends on how things ended or how unhappy the other person was in the relationship.. Was the breakup rough? Was the relationship toxic? How long was the other person unhappy? Instead of looking to get your ex back look to improve your self.. If they are meant to come back they will.. If not, at least you have been working on your self

It’s how Craig brings up the Applebees girl a lot to show he’s felt the same feelings and went through a hard break up. He can still remember vividly the break up and how it affected him but now he’s able to talk about with a smile and laughter and knowledge bc he’s no longer romantically connected to her and connect his experience to others peoples experiences

Healing isn't linear at all! Today, my ex deleted our very sentimental shared note from our phone (which I got a notification from) which got me back into relapse. Im on day 50 of NC and still going. I don't have anything to hold onto anymore when it comes to hoping for her to come back. When she deleted the note, she really told me that she's moving forward. I hope everyone here will heal strongly and know their worth. because that's the true meaning of No Contact

It's surprising to me how many stories there are of people having a breakup that never happened in-person and going no-contact permanently. Those are the only situations that really mess me up, it feels like the honorable thing would at least be an on-the-phone closure conversation.

I'd like to know why we men always start changing after they light a fire under our ass in form of dumping us rather then doing the work while they were with us. And usually after they are gone we become the version they wanted all along..but to someone else. She'll give chances my dudes, but even the most patient woman has her limits. Dont push it, if you know you are in the wrong , change it, no matter what it is. Anything is easier to do then watching person you love leave you because of your inability to change or fix the issues in relationship/marriage.

Yeah but she said "There is no chance, so don't wait for me, u won't hear from me ever again. If you wait, don't blame me for building hope for yourself because I won't come, we're done"... so knowing she is stubborn, and I've been blocked on top... it seems so hard to be honest.

I broke up with my ex, and am very sad. I reached out to a young lady friend who, upon finding out what happened, cheered me up by keeping me company, engaging in alot of flirting and exchanges of spicy conversation. It did put an optimistic twist on the dynamics of the break-up , but the fine young lady could not remove my ex from my mind.

Even if I never reconnect with that very special man, I want to thank you both for so much inspiration & comfort. I wished I could've worked with Maggie Mea before we lost her about my situation. Ty guys. You're a delight.

me and my ex have been on a rollercoaster and even moved in temporarily while i purchased my condo. Well, we got close again and then I moved and she became mean again. When my beautiful dog died and her mom suffered a stroke, she said "the little things are not important" as she showed up for me in the hospital! we started hanging out a little and I thought we were making headway but just last week she decided to unfollow me out of the blue! I asked her and she said "it's just natural progression" yet the months before she was sending stories, some random texts and calling - I'm in permanent NC now because she's back to her old self now that mom has recovered and I told her I'd never reach out again since unfollowing me is my last straw. Annoyed she did this again. Who knows what ex's are thinking especially when I did nothing wrong.

I'm in a middle of a divorce. My wife cheated on me put a fake pfa against me to push me out of the house. She brought her new man in my house. My daughter told me they were arguing a lot. For a week in half her new man wasn't living in my house. My wife took off her picture of her and him on Facebook and put back the old profile picture. I think they are still together.

When you ask yourself this question, there is a lot of pain around it and I do understand that because I was in that place once before. Through this channel and a lot of hard work, I was able to get to a better place and build a much stronger relationship. Focus on personal growth, that’s the best way to go.

We were together 4 years snd she never posted any picture of us and I don’t have social media to see what she is up to. Something l don't understand here. Your ex has jumped into a rebound, the rebound falls over after 6 months, meanwhile you've been doing "the work" or at least trying to understand what happened, then your ex reaches out to come back. What have they done ? They've gone looking for a bandaid solution and not done the work at all on themselves. Why is the onus in the dumpee to do all the work ? Surely there's a complete imbalance in this. ... Addendum : It's probably because dumpers rarely watch channels like this, they're not your core audience.

Craig, I would love to see you cover short term relationships. The information out there is really confusing. My relationship was only 3 months but involved a pregnancy and an abortion. We had a genuine connection but it all got too much with an early pregnancy involved. She said she needed a minimum of 2-3 weeks space, I didn’t get emotional or beg or anything but Everything I can find only says after 45 days of no contacting my chances of recovery are almost nothing. I’m only 12 days in but it worries me to think if I got 45 days I’ve lost it all.

Hi all….. Update 28/11/22: She found out I’d received my ticket for the works due for Sat 3rd December. She text me saying “I can’t believe your still going! As you don’t talk to me now or sit with me at dinner time. A never replied 01/12/22: She confronted me at work,I said if you really don’t want me to go (After all this time, Saying you want me to ) then I won’t, I’ll just have my money back!! She said she just wanted a good time……. She was a bit abrupt through this confrontation! Kept repeating herself saying she’s happy. Then she wanted to know why i stopped talking to her and sitting with her at dinner: I said because when I picked my clothes up etc and we promised each other a few things and you’d gone back on your word. Sitting with you? Were not a couple anymore and that was your choice… 03/012/22: Works Due I was the last 1 to arrive, She got up and asked if I wanted a drink? And could help her carry drinks with her… Ask we got to the bar,She apologised for how she had acted at work! We had a laugh , Asked me to dance with her. Present: We’ve been communicating better…. Mixed signals all over through this 01/10/2022: Changed her status from Relationship to blank / To Single and then back to blank 03/10/22: Got a random message from her this morning: If anyones been asking at work about the breakup? ( As above on Saturday morning she changed her profile to single , But changed it to nothing later ) ( I left my on single since Saturday evening ) Trying to insinuate people will know because my profile is now single , Though people notice she changed hers three times on Saturday. I used NO CONTACT TO THE MESSAGE! She’s then removed the message this afternoon?!?! I’m confused )
