I would've loved to see new Overworld sections showcasing what the new world looked like. Recycling map areas from the first game was pretty lazy to me. But other than that I still enjoyed the DLC and don't regret getting it 'cuz I'm a huge Tales fan regardless. lol
Imo, loved the original so much and finished this i personally found it worth it. Some of us pay 30 bucks for less story and content. I adore this game as a whole. My 2nd tales and i find this the superior due tp all the changes they implemented. I was bored with other tales. This 1 just knocked it out of the park for me. Not worth it for everyone but for me it is. Got mote out of this than a lot of 70$ AAA IP these days.
I have been in 75+ hours in this dlc, i enjoy it, i have grind devil arms to their max stats for each character (took me like 20+ hour of grinding), despite all that, they waste so many things that could make this dlc worth the price, the story felt rushed, they could make it longer to explain more about new world and exploring Nazamil character into the depths, the final boss and the climax felt weaker than Vholran, and no post dungeon or more secret boss, i mean they could have done that, but they chose not to, i know we already have it in base game, however they could pull this off, they could make this expansion bigger than this, and lastly i love the final weapon look, it looks old and futuristic, which its model is amazing.
I didn’t finish it. Personally (like how FF16 did it) incorporate the DLC into the main game, afterwards allow players to progress from the said main game. Increase level cap by 20 levels add a few more “bonus points” to your already maxed out titles, continue from last completed save. Optimize enemies to be on the “same level” as the player if not higher.
I just dont get why they made the two extro synergy slots blank and waited two years to not add two more characters. Just feels like a missed opportunity.
2:10 exactly at this moment i just said hell yeah need to play it NOW...."She has been experimented on" That pretty much says it all......Alrighty i got the base game since release but never really played it for many reasons(most of them was witcher 3+cyberpunk 2077 and other games that i found n loved so tales of arise got forgotten about until today n was a good game i think!! So thanks 4 this video...Lets se why n how she was used in experiments argh thats just soo dark
I sold my copy of the game before the dlc was announced. If I still have my save data do I need to buy the disc again or can I just get the dlc on its own? Also the dlc is $30 and the base game on psn is $40, meanwhile on amazon it’s $18 o_O
I love tales and to me the story after alphen mask came off fell flat. I got bored with the story. Now since DLC is released I'm going to replay the game and and give it a second try.
You wouldn't need to add a lot of additional attacks for a new character, you said the new character is half of both races. We have a unique Light and Dark magic user but with the buffs Rinwell can use as well. The Strike command can just have the new character "boost" another character causing them to use an Mystic Arte as the Strike. Make it so their boost gauge is the party wide Sharpness and/or Concentration. This makes the new character fit with the themes of unity both mechanically and in story while focusing on the fact they are the strength we have when supporting others regardless of race. That we can be so much more and bring out the best individually and as a group. It isn't as hard as you'd think.
