Setting here laughing to myself… seems like the more help you get the less help you got😂. Ol Ridge seems to have survived his stitches in fine spirit, unfortunately I foresee several more cut, bumps, bruises and busted bones in his future… just kinda the life of a kid with things to do, hopefully Momma and Pop survive as well
Ridge, I'm glad to see you're looking and feeling better. You're special and a tuff little guy. It's good to see you and your brothers and sister working and playing so hard. Great job mom and dad. God bless you all!
A 9x18 Makarov was probably a souvenir of WWII. Ridge is the kid that will never do anything half way. He will go places! Maybe not where you want, but he is going places. No 🛑 in his future. Thank you for sharing your family and experiences.
Poor Ridgee. But it will take more than a cut to keep him from smiling. He's tough. One small positive detail is that if there is any scar, it will covered by the eyebrow.
Thanks for leaving the Ridge Cam part! Love seeing things from his perspective. Does he wear his spurs to school? I'm sure it won't be the last time that momma has to fill out paper work for a kids' medical issues. Who lives in that house with a nice porch all around it?
I know Riley is one, hard-working young man, and I am thoroughly amazed at all the work that he can do with the heavy equipment and all that you don’t find kids like that nowadays everybody thinks that they need to have things handed to them. Those kids all work hard.
You have the best crew. Even though all that “lasooing” moved the cattle up the hill, you really loved watching them swinging away. Ridgy sure did a number on his face. The best way to raise kids. Horseback moving cattle. Love watching. Always look forward to the next adventure. Hope Ram is doing well in Brasil. Rio is enjoying his new trucks, since y’all bought one and then he won one❣️Have missed seeing Roxi and Laura more too💕💕 Ridgy has those spurs jingle jangle jingling. He walked a long way recording and did pretty good it wasn’t too wavy. Next time n💕🤗 from East Texas
Unfortunately with Ridge’s sense of adventure, I have a feeling that he will be in the emergency room a few more times before he is full grown🙏🏻🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈He recovers like a champ every time. Big D is a lot of horse for Ridge but he seems to be going fine! You are raising some fine young people!!
Ridge you are a very good little man for sure. I'd just like to add, Riley you are a big man in a little body. You don't know me and never will but beings I'm 75 years old I wish I could meet you someday, I am so proud to get to watch you grow. Wow, thank you for being such a great person.
Glad Ridgie is doing well!!! My husband is an Army vet, and here is what he says about your Makarov: The Makarov was first manufactured in 1949, and are still being made. They were originally from the Soviet Union. There have been over 5 million made. This is a pistol that was used by the KGB, used in Vietnam, Afghanistan, and other places, also known as the PMR (Pistolet Makarova). It’s chambered in the 9x18, as well as the 380. He said 380 ammo should work. Hope this helps. I love watching your videos. It’s awesome to see everyone pitching in. It creates character. I grew up in Idaho, riding and helping with roundup and branding. There is nothing more awesome than getting into God’s nature on horseback! God bless you all, and thankful that Ridge wasn’t injured worse! My husband said you should be able to contact the manufacturer with the serial number (if it’s still on there 😂, and get when and where it was made, etc.
Sounds like dad was fighting a bit of a cold around Halloween. Ridgey going to the emergency room, I'm sure one of many you will have with him. Boys being boys.
Word on the streets are Mom was very relieved to know that all her preaching to the kids payed off. After Reggie was checked in a hospital it was confirmed he had on clean underwear
Great video again. These videos should be named the Riley and Ridgy show. Some day soon these two cowboys will be hitting the road together competing in rodeos .
Ridge will have a scar to tell everybody about for a long time. I don't think there has ever been a farm or ranch kid that has gotten very old that doesn't have some kind of scar! You had enough riders to herd those cattle! The boys practicing their heeling!
When Ridge gets older he can change the story to: it happened at a Rodeo and you should have seen the other guy😅 I’m still amazed that kids can have a rope in their hands instead of a cellphone. I sat by a group of 75 high school girls last night at our state semi round football game. If one pulled their phone out the next one had to do the same. It’s 😔.
I was about his age when I got my first set of stitches. My sister hit me in the head with a rock. That was a whole lot a years ago, and since then I've had them everywhere from between my toes to the top of my head. The first year I was married I had six sets of stitches, and my wife was wondering what she had gotten herself into. It looks like he handled it well. I'm glad to see he didn't miss a step.
This is the first time I comment, I'm glad he is ok. I've been watching your video s for a few months and I enjoy them. I've watched them over and over. You can't find kids to work, the little ones will be there and want to go every time
When your fingers or toes get cold, it's because your Torso isn't warm enough. Your body Prioritizes the Heart and Lungs and shuts off blood to your hands and feet. So if your hands are cold, put on an xtra sweater/shirt/etc... or a Hat...
How many miles between Pine Valley and your home base? RIDGIE bug sure proved how cowboy tough he is. Glad is was only a few stitches. SO MANY little ones riding today. Those good horses are priceless.❤
Hi Anchor Brand Ranch! I believe that you can add just about anything to your videos. Kids wrestling, football, softball, Rigey cam, and it will be watched. I enjoy all of the content. My favorite channel!
I don't know if you got this question answered or not but I'm qualified to answer it for you , the diff lock is to connect the front diff to the back diff and lock them together. when it's disconnected you will only have drive on one axle and it will bonce around to different axle's depending on the traction. the power always goes to the axle that has the least traction. You want to run unlocked on the highway and gravel where you have dry hard conditions it's easier on tire's and will shift smoother when the going gets slippery that's when you lock it up, you will then have power to one drive axle in the front diff and one in the back diff. If you have lockers you can lock all four axles together but in your video I didn't see any lockers on your dash, only the diff lock was visible.
God dam, that Ridge is one tough little cowboy, and talented; not shy or short of a word either, future bull riding champion? So amazing all those kids participating in that cattle drive on horseback, living their best life. City kids would be so envious, god dam.
