The GT4 RS is the pinnacle of mid-engine Porsche. On the outside of the Weissach package you will notice an exposed carbon fiber hood/rear spoiler/side mirrors/side scoops, forged wheels and titanium exhaust. On the inside you will be greeted by fixed back carbon fiber bucket seats and complete race-tex dash. Powering the GT4 RS is a 4.0L flat-6 that is mated to a 7-speed PDK. There’s something about exposed carbon hoods that look decidedly cheap and “aftermarket.” For a car well into 6 digit territory, it looks like a 2006 Nissan 350Z, or maybe a Lancer Evo.

Holy crap, I had to watch that again! You probably dint want to say how fast you were taking those turns but it looked planted on the road just like you said! I had a 1985 RX7 (technically a mid engine) that revved high and with a suspension kit that was lmgave that sensation minus 400 hp. Time slowed down when you got onto those twisty back roads. Thanks for the passion!

BTW, I've driven torqu-ee corvettes that had gobs of power. I don't get that kind of out of body experience with low rpm engines with high torque. The 7000 rpm and up engines give you that!

Love it! My favorite Porsche . I saw & heard the original 2016 GT4 (2500 made) It had the Carrera S engine at the time. Sounded glorious. Spent about an hour talking with the owner who came up from Florida. I’ll never forget it

Awesome car and amazing sound! No doubt it would be a blast to drive every Saturday & Sunday. Love the blue magnesium wheels 🛞!!! Great review Joe!!! I have been driving Porsches since 1980. They are in a class by themselves and appropriately the slogan “Porsche there is no substitute” makes sense. I have a 911 Turbo S and it is also incredible to drive & very easy to drive fast anywhere!!! I enjoy being a part of the Raiti’s Rides family of car enthusiasts!!! Thanks again!!!
