I (someone who has used a gts super for over 1000 miles so far or at least according to the remote) can say that its still a good board however that being said there has been multiple people mentioning quality control issues which has caused accidents not to mention that the customer support can be a bit spotty so its a little bit of a gamble. for me the board has been brilliant but this sort of a review is similar to that of the backfires. some say their trucks self destructed , their boards snap etc. however that being said their customer support is quite good.
I just recently purchased the GTS carbon super, only have 25 miles on so far. I find it interesting that you even bring up the Zeus pro mainly because that was another board that I really really wanted, but when the GTS carbon super came up on a Labor Day sale for $1250 , I just had to go for it. I would really love a comparison video between the Zeus pro N GTS carbon super
Got 900km (not miles ;-) ) And it still works well. Only trouble compared to the carbon pro (previous version) the grip tape litterally "dislocate" under warm weather... Don't know about the battery, we will see in the time ;-)
Well, that comes out to about 559 miles. You are right there man!! I get the “dislocation” issue. That is something that they need to deal with in some way. Smaller pieces will always do that. They really do need to move to larger sections of foam grip tape. Thanks for the view and comment. Ride hard…Carve save…and have a GREAT day!!
@@esk8ooligan their previous grip tape had a much better resistance : hexagons were bigger and foam was thicker (almost double) I did 1500km easily on the gts Carbon pro and the grip is still in good shape. In fact they improved many things in the super version really. Only grip goes away too easily.
I am up to 2500km on the GTS Super. Not changed anything except bearings and belts. Grip tape barely hanging in there. Guess I got lucky, heard a lot of people had trouble with the VESC blowing up.
Hello and good info. Just wondering on belt tension are you using a tool or is this part "touch and pinch/eyeing, feeling belt tension for each side...guessing at evenness. Any help would be great. Thanks and skate safe.
Were do u live that 120° and lot of wine? That board took great mm the newer one the eovan gtr SILO is 12S5P Molicel P42A Battery 21Ah/1058Wh ....best i ever seen
Hey Dude…thanks for the suggestion. I did go check out the board. There is very important information missing that would get me to pay $2299 for a board with their description. Maybe you can shed some light. Do you know what ESC setup they have in the board? What battery manufacturer do they use…Panasonic? Samsung? Something else? What size are the motors and what KV rating do they have? Do you know if the trucks are forged, CNC, or something else? At $2299 they really should have this information on the site. @@esk8ooligan 12s3p Samsung battery dual 3000 watt motors. They put the specs up on their site and you can dm their instagram to change stuff on your setup or ask about parts
@@esk8ooligan I ordered the board and they hooked me up with a cloud wheel setup with black griptape and it looks super sick, they could probably hook you up with that for stock price too but I’m not 100% on that
I hate doing this, but I have to put the word out about Eovan Board. I purchased their GTS Carbon Super board for $1500 and never received it. l've spent months going back and forth with their customer service. They admit I've never received the board, and have promised a refund. It's been 11 months. Stay away from Eovan.
