Regardless of which however - they DID finally and actually pointed out that the Traveler is weak. Edit: And I disagree that the Traveler can even get close to Arlecchino, she had help from a lot of people before, and she used her elements more or less, and the only person she truly more or less defeated by herself is Childe. Other than that, there's someone helping or buffing her up.

@@celebisme2114 It's kinda sad how there was a clear progression in the traveller's power during the first 3 nations You first encounter signora (8th harbringer) with 1 element and she inmediately rolls you on the floor, as expected Then you encounter childe (11th harbringer), who is on even grounds while you are using 1 element, but then is caught by surprise when you use 2, forced to go all out and yet you managed to defeat him anyways Then you find signora again with 3 elements, and now you're on even grounds with her, finally overcoming her strength and defeating her in a fair duel. Very clear path that makes you feel the traveller is getting stronger with each new element, but after sumeru they basically nerfed him back to zero in favour of promoting the next banner character. Even the most recent show of strength was against arlecchino (4th harbringer) with 5 elements, which only managed to get her into serious mode before inmediately getting humbled If he doesn't get a big powerboost in natlan, he is gonna have it very rough against the TOP 3 HARBRINGERS

Hardly a paragon of virtue either lol. But yeah I think Arlechinno, Il Capitano, possibly Columbina are going to be used to change our perception of the Fatui and even the Tsarita (Arle deems her sincerely compassionate and warm). There's just some bad eggs.

Something people don't seem to realize is that just because the Traveler wasn't SHOWN using the Elements in the cutscene, doesn't mean they weren't using them in the fight lol. I don't think it would've made a difference even if we weren't using the Elements. It's clear with or without them we were already winded once standing up to her in the cutscene, and the fact that she humbles us to the point where we can't even move to activate our Elements in the first place just shows that the gap is large.

@@tabletennisstars1227 In Sumeru storyline, the Traveler used Canned Knowledge "Swordfighting Techniques VIII". Which gave them a whole lot of experience in swordfighting gleaned from Irminsul. Which translates to increasing the Traveler's attack by 3. Because Canned Knowledge is mostly useful for beginners who lack that kind of experience.

It was also mentioned in the notes found around the ruins in Fontaine.

@DawitsLookingforEmilia I wrote in a comment in another video that the Traveler basically represents the 'best possible scenario'. Any event he takes part in is already able to be resolved by other characters, but with heavier losses. As stated in the game, the Traveler is a Witness in Teyvat, not a Protagonist.

They just tip the scales a little bit further to how they were leaning in the first place. I do stand by the idea that the Traveler isn't the main driving character in Teyvat's current history, though, for the prior mentioned reasons.

The traveler is weakened, you cant expect them to just beat everyone with their powers sealed so it makes sense they need help and outside sources of power. They are also fighting the strongest people in the world at that, not regular vision wielders and people but real gods, archons and beings beyond that. They would be more than a match for most beings if they had their real powers and sword and would only lose to the primordial powers like the heavenly principles and shades who are far beyond anything weve seen in game like the sustainer. Yet despite that you’re all forgetting that: 1) Scaramouche had more buffs and greater buffs especially given what we know about the Gnoses 2) How little it took for them to close the gap between them and Scaramouche 3) They were fighting Scaramouche by themselves and the Neo-Akasha Terminal doesn’t actually fire those lasers as its sole purpose is to store knowledge.

I also think he wanted to keep his cards close in case he ever had to fight her seriously. Why show her that he can use any of the 5 elements in what is practically a sparring match

I don't think Childe got tired of Foul Legacy Transformation. I mean, he fought the Narwhal in his Foul Legacy form for weeks, yet we defeated him in minutes. I don't think he had an opportunity to get *that* much better at using Foul Legacy.

I mean, you're also not giving them any credit. Shenhe stepped up to repay the kindness traveler showed her, kazuha was only there in the first place because of trav. We were literally the only ones who could see nahida and we saved her, we spearheaded the plan against furina and was essential for the plan for nuev to regain his power and fight against the whale.

he might not be the strongest, but we gotta admit. wherever he/she goes, problems get fixed, its not a coincidence.

I am guessing Traveler is less this "big strong wo/man showing up to solve all problems" and more the reason those type of people shows up to help

i thought atleast we will see some development in traveller but it just made me disappointed well i think it was to showcase the banner character arlecino's feats

Keep in mind the Travelers best feat alone is defeating Signora. And from Childe and Scaramouche’s voicelines, they see she’s immensely powerful

I just want traveler to actually utilize their elements more😭
