Almost every Bad Company song is a banger and this was on their excellent debut album as they were establishing their sound. This is an A- song in studio but an A+ live as they really get into the end jam. Same with Ready for Love, always an amazing g jam at the end live. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶

Movin' On is probably the best song on the first album you haven't heard. As a total change in vibe, I'd also recommend the last song, Seagull. Just Paul Rogers, an acoustic guitar and little bit of bass towards the end.

"Seagull" from this same debut album is just a lovely acoustic ballad, closing track, not well known. And also their luscious cover of The Beatles, "Don't Let Me Down." Albums used to be so wonderful back then.

Bad Company, like Bread, is the perfect example that simplicity in song structure can be a beautiful thing when done with skill. Simple arrangements, precise playing and great singing work well with great songwriting! And their first two albums have that live in the studio sound which translated well to live shows. Try "Ready for Love" for a bluesy, subdued, atmospheric song, "Deal With the Preacher" for kickass rock, "Burnin' Sky" for a trance-like, slow burn rocker and "Run With the Pack" for a classic rock song with Paul on piano.

Best singer in rock history. Still sounds this good in his early 70s . Never hits a bad note and never sings it exactly the same because he has such a sense of timing and melody. He is not over-singing (because he knows what the song needs) but he can let it loose and take it up a couple levels when he wants to . Don`t know if I`ve seen you do any Free yet (Paul`s previous band) but you should definitely check out the live Free-Fire and Water video (even if just on your free time)

Young Andy and Alex. I'm 70 years young and love seeing you guys experience the best in music ! (and still mow my own lawn with ear buds in...Rock'in.) Music has always been such a huge part of my life even though I can't sing worth a damn or play a Guitar. A "B" was a fair rating. Bad Company has better songs and Paul Rogers is one of the best vocalists in music. I'm so happy I got to live the R&R experience in S. Kali. from the 1960's on. I did concert photography and met more than a few of the bands you feature. Those I didn't meet, I saw in concert. Live is where it's at. You two were born too late, but I'm so glad you are sharing the best time in music with others in the younger generations. I love seeing your reactions. Two of my favorite people I had conversations with was BB King and Mickey Thomas. BB just chillin back stage. What an interesting man. Mickey after a Starship concert. I think he was going through a divorce or break up. We sat at a table for over an hour talking how woman had done us wrong...lol, and got trashed. Very much a regular guy, no big head. A Georgia boy. Fun times and many memories. At a concert with Fog Hat, the lead guitarist totally loved this Mexican Wedding Shirt I was wearing. He gave me $50. for it. I spent the rest of the concert shirtless on the stage taking pictures. So many fantastic memories. Back stage was really as crazy as some of the stories you hear and some of the after parties, holy shit..... I wish you every success in your music adventures !

That’s awesome! I guess I’m the young one in the conversation - I’m 60, but I got an early start on my rock and roll journey. (My first album was The Rolling Stones’ Hot Rocks). Speaking of the Stones, a line from their new song Sweet Sounds of Heaven is: “Let the old still believe they are young.” Amen to that!

@@johnkaelberer237. My introduction to the Stones came by way of the oldest son of friends of my parents. They were a large Irish family - 7 kids - and the parents wanted to take a vacation, so they pawned off each of their children with friends to watch for them. We got the oldest, John, who was a teenager at the time. He brought his guitar and a stack of records. When I heard Honky Tonk Women and all the rest of those classic Stones songs I was immediately hooked!

It's been mentioned a few times, but you need to check out Deal With The Preacher and Good Lovin' Gone Bad. Two of their best songs. People need to realize that they weren't trying to do songs like "No Quarter" by LZ (which I love) or "Xanadu" by Rush, one of my top 10 songs of all time. They were a bluesy rock band, nothing more, nothing less. If you're looking for some thought-provoking head trip like Kashmir, you won't find it by Bad Co. If you want great, fun, rock 'n roll with no hidden meanings and you don't have a philosophical literature professor handy to interpret what a song is about, you won't get any better than Bad Company.
