Ten years ago, on July 7th, 2013, a paleo meme was born. Other videos on Spinofaarus: • WHAT IS A "SPINOFAARUS... • The Strangest Dinosaur... Music: Nihilore - Bush Week
@@RickRaptor105ain’t that the sick bastard who made pedophilic rape shock fanfics that he sent to people that called him out on his bullshit? And the one who’s really addicted to his theory that volaticotheres were essentially Mesozoic bats?
If you are referring to the one that looks like a larger Baryonyx with a sail, then yes that would be fairly ironic. It is honestly not out of the realm of possibility, the one which basically looks like an Allosaurus with a sail is definitely not correct.
"Haha Spinosaurus might have had short legs, what a stupid idea, I'll draw a mocking drawing of one as a seal to show that we need to stay reasonable with our speculations!" *Monkeys paw makes a fist*
I made a promise to myself and to Spinosaurus. No matter what happens. No matter how weird things get. No matter how divisive people are about it. Spinosaurus is my favorite dinosaur.
Me going back in time only to discover the full living might of the Atlantean empire, and dinosaurs being used as excavation equipment like in the Flintstones. 🤯🤯🤯
"Suddenly, Spinofaarus no longer seemed like a joke." It is haunting you on your dreams, looking for a way to escape and subject the world to the unspeakable horrors of its existence.
This video is heavily outdated. They recently discovered that the spinosaurus looked more like a frog, and could paralyze its prey by using its heat vision to cook its brain.
I'm sorry to inform you that this comment is also abhorrently outdated. The most recent spinosaurus findings state that it's froglike fingers actually extend outward much like a pteranadon, so it would actually fly around rivers hunting for fish. Also, it's spines form a 3rd wing that let's it fly in the 4th dimension as well to hunt for prey more efficiently through time itself
@@anishreddyanam8617Unfortunately, your comment is obscenely outdated. Its sail was actually a radio receiver meant for picking up alien broadcast signals. There’s even evidence that Spinosaurus preferred Martian game shows.
This reminds me of that experiment where a frog wouldnt jump out of boiling water if it boiled slowly. And then it turns out the frog was lobotomized first.
I've never really been bothered about how much spinosaurus has changed overtime, almost enjoying it due to it fueling the fact that it was a very unique dinosaur despite little remains are known. So if spino does turn out to be some kind of giant elephant seal or camel or some other kind of animal that our mental health isn't prepared for, I'll be okay with it. Good question about the papo t rex btw.
honestly... i like rodrigo vega's concept designs. although very absured and unusual, it is the bold take to make such an intriguing and controversial design that i admire. it is also one that i feel gives the piece much charm. for as always, as much as we like to think we know what we are talking about when it comes to reconstructing dead fauna, animals often look increadibly different than what their bone would tell us and what they really looked like might never truly be visualized.
I love spinosaurus! It’s a personal favourite and I hope to study it one day! And hopefully help prove that spinosaurus is actually a giant manatee and it’s spines we’re actually flippers it used to fly in space!
I’m suprised at how accurate the concept art and known footage for Ark II is. The raptor, sabertooth and others are the most accurate depictions of any game yet! (Of course this doesn’t include everything.)
Still remember the meme where you would connect muscles upon the spine similar to a bison, giving the spino a muscular build capable of (based on the meme) “yeet” small creatures. To me it was an absolute unit.
At this point we shouldn't even speculate on how a non-avian dinosaur looked like in life unless we have a reasonably complete skeleton of the species in question...
There is no way that a spinosaurus could have flippers let alone ones shaped like dolphins. There’s just no way if scientists display this they are quacks and cheats just a simple form of scientific misconduct nothing more nothing less.
I saw JP3 in theaters, it was a belated 7th birthday gift, and I was never upset that the Spino beat the T-Rex, I actually thought it was cool, because I thought "Whoa, a creature bigger and stronger than the T-rex!?" Even to this day im not upset at all about it
Me, too. I was also 7 at the time. It was great, and Spinosaurus is still my favorite dinosaur because of that movie despite how much it keeps changing.
The Spinosaurus does not only constantly change in a scientifical way, apparently it also changes in a meme way, IT KEEPS EVOLVING!! SOMEONE PLEASE STOP IT!
Fun fact, Spinosaurus had a built-in anti-air missile defensive system but it was pretty useless back then since no animals used guided missiles to kill their prey neither contest territory.
No joke, I went looking for dinosaur gifts for my family, often times detailed Schleich figures. Imagine my horror and confusion when a Schleich suggestion popped up featuring the papo rex for some ungodly reason.
But what about [Papo Rex]?! Dinosaur Reskins in Paleo media have always seemed like a strange case to me. On one hand, if you like how a dinosaur works, but hate how it looks, it's nice to have another option to choose from. But on the other hand, reskins usually look like they would be taxonomically different from their counterpart. And I've always thought it would be neat if cool looking dinosaurs like the Nanotyrannus had more of an identity than "Its the Tyrannosaurus but for dumb people." So I took a large number of dinosaur reskins currently portrayed in television, movies, and games, and gave them their own classifications ranging from "Slightly modified heritage to the original" to "Completely new clade that's not feasible at all but a ton of fun." The Papo Rex is a really cool looking dinosaur that just doesn't do it for me. Like sure if you-
I like how spinofaarus was a parody about scientific unfeasibility until suddenly there was at least hypothetical evidence to support some of it. Goes to show that our concept of scientific feasibility is just always changing, and not quite as set in stone as it may seem a hundred or so years ago
I swear if we as humans continue this journey of finding a new spino fossil or new assumptions about it we will go back to how we first thought it looked like I'm talking JP 3 vibes
I put forward that the spine is actually the creatures one wing and that it had a flowing mane of white hair. Spinohiroth will teach the T-rex fandom the meaning of dispair.
I wonder if those spines were retractable/foldable. That would maybe answer display questions. Also taking into consideration a camel's skeleton, the bones support a hump, but they are not the hump itself.
