I have to respectfully disagree with the comment that challenges are entertaining. For me, they are disruptive to the flow of whatever game they're used. That said, I do agree that challenges are an improvement to any sport using them in the sense that the objective is to get the call right. But, in many cases, they take too long. Coming from tennis, the Hawkeye system has greatly improved the game. Instead of line-call arguments, the players accept the Hawkeye results with no disruption to the game. This is exactly what pickleball badly needs.
