Your editing is becoming sharper with each new installment. I have a few genetic illnesses, so I can't attend sporting events anymore. Thank you for taking us to all the different clubs, and showing us the culture unique to every club (except Tottenham..they don't have any culture.)
I am a lifelong Brighton fan and understand exactly what the Deby fans are going through as the same thing happened to us 25 years ago. I hope you get the same outcome that we have been fortunate to have got. All best wishes from BHAFC.
Hello Nieve. As a Bradford Bulls rugby league fan, Derby have my best wishes. It reminds me that County has seen issues before as shown in "The Damned United". Now back to RL Challenge Cup semis on TV. I have been all over to finals, but interesting this year is at Tottenham, who were that team with a kit like Derby when I was a kid buying Subbuteo teams.
As a Chelsea fan, I've never had any great love for Wayne Rooney, but I have massive respect for the way he and the players fought an impossible fight for Derby (and came closer to pulling it off than anyone could have reasonably expected). Hopefully things get sorted and fans can get back to supporting their team instead of worrying if there will be a team to support.
Thank you so much! Really try not to over force emotions, and just share my passion with the game, and make sure I’m well informed out of respect too, so I really do appreciate this comment.
Impassioned words about the future of Derby, spoken with the passion of someone whose been through this journey...Bolton showed there is hope, here's wishing those Rams fans have a ground and a club next season that they so desperately want. Another class piece of reportage Nieve, but not too many Stella's on the train back please🤪😂
My English team is Newcastle Utd, but i really really hope Derby can carry on from here. I was hoping they would beat the drop, but it wasnt to be. I wish them well in their future.
Really appreciate this, thank you so much! Can’t wait to be back, the banter between the away fans and the home fans was brilliant, excited to return with the Wanderers!
As a glasgow rangers fan understand the anxiety from the fans just don't give up like we did cannot believe the football league are doing nothing after the bury fiasco
Another Rangers fan here, knowing Nieve from her vids up across the border. Never give up Derby fans, one day you'll just might reach a final - again. Make Cloughy proud.
I was there at relegation day 2008 (when they recorded the lowest PL points ever). The hilarious part was both teams playing got relegated that day. The fans didn't know whether to cheer their players in support or boo. In the end there was a very half-hearted pitch invasion.
Glad there wasn't a Pitch Invasion in the end, didn't expect much, since I steward is possibly the least troublesome stand in the ground. And mad respect for your comments towards the end, knowing you've been through the exact thing with Bolton, this is the solidarity I love to see from other Football fans. Respect, Nieve 🤜🤛
As a football supporter from north Manchester, watching Bury, Oldham and nearly Bolton lose their professional teams is really sad. I hope Derby survive. It’s about time something happens to stop these horrible people coming into our game and ripping it apart. C’mon Derby county, looking forward to watching you again next year.
You should cover Luton and Huddersfield play off what a story for Luton non league to play offs for the Premier League in 8 seasons and Huddersfield are having a wonderful season too
Hello...I've seen you're vids on YT, Was this your 1st visit to PPS it was a cracking atmosphere, thanks for you're kind words we just now need things sorting so we can have our own Project Restart..I see you were at the Emirates today. Perhaps 1 day Jeff Stelling might get in touch; lol
Thank you very much! Still all seems to be going at a slow pace, but I wish you the best of luck. Hopefully not long to go before the new ownership comes in 🤞🏼👊🏼
Adey. Why don't they call your fabulous ground WHL , given its location or,at least, give it a name as The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium" sounds incomplete and bland, and are you allowed to still bring flags as I remember those initial fantastically colourful scenes of the Home End when you first moved?
I’m watching this 2 years later and happily we’re back in the Championship and doing well under the ownership of David Clowes. Nice to see Adam from goalhanger and the rams talk podcast . Up the Rams 🐑
Love your videos, along with Footy Adventures and Theos. Wasn't aware your a Bolton fan and I'm glad you survived. To be honest with what your doing will be the future for many of you. That's the way its all going to go. CTID and love to see you at the ETIHAD for the last day of the season.
great vlog i hope there is a derby for next season as they have amazing fans plus us gasheads are looking forward to visiting grounds like this after our promotion
Mel got his wish. He got us out the championship. Out the wrong bloody end however. If we started a striker at Wembley in 2019 things could have been very different now… Sell the ground Mel and do one for god’s sake
It could have been so different for your lot between 2014-2019, now it’s all disaster. Best of luck going forward and see you next season at the Unibol!
I love this channel, I love this content, I love Nieve's knowledge and her passion for the game. I'm not a Derby fan but I wish things would get sorted out with the ownership.
Hi StuntPegg were alive and kicking. See you Sept the 2nd. I have a huge admiration for BW my ears are still ringing now from their away support last year. I'll accept 2nd if you'll accept Champions?
Feel for Derby. And wonder if this is where Everton will be in a couple of years. They've got a result that could see them survive this term, but their financial situation is in a catastrophic state.
Same kind of thing going on at Scunthorpe, Peter Swann owns the club and ground through separate entities. Buying the club won’t get you the ground. Can’t believe this sort of chicanery is allowed.
Football is all about passion. As a Forest fan (should I even be watching this video?) it saddens me to see Derby in this state. Just like the Rangers fan commented earlier though, you will be back and we can then together enjoy the stress, fear, excitement, joy and despair of the real Derby day, when our teams compete for the Brian Clough Trophy.
Throwing money at footballers. Ignoring financial rules. The fans don't deserve it. It seems like football has become this crazy money-burning cult. It can't go on like this, but somehow it will.
I have massive admiration for Wayne Rooney and his dedication to the cause . But karma comes to mind for when their fans invaded the pitch in 1983last match of the season 15 minutes from the end kicking players and attacking Fulham supporters . What goes round comes round.
I was at that game and it wasn’t a pitch invasion at 1st, all the Derby fans were stood on the touch line kicking the Fulham players. Wouldn’t happen today for obvious reasons & was very bizarre. We stayed up & Fulham missed out on promotion, the mad 80’s & before that the crazy 70’s. Long live the Baseball ground & Pride park ⚫️⚪️
So proud to be a Derby fan, Cardiff saying sit down like Derby haven't picked up more points than them this season. Imagine not being in administration and picking up less points than Derby, we've done a few teams a solid this season, Reading would be in league 1 now otherwise
I'm a villa fan and hope Derby come straight back up and then up again to the Premier league. Another founder member of the football league where they shouldn't be . CONE ON DCFC
All the fuss over Chelsea recently - they're a national institution we can't let them go out of business etc etc, government getting involved...well so are Derby County so somebody needs to step in and save them. I find it staggering that the football league can punish the fans, the team and the manager with a points deduction instead of the real culprit.
The only problem i have with Derby going down, is, that Fat Lampard isnt taking you down! But! Strangely enough for a Leeds fan, i like Rooney. Gutted for him.
Enjoyed a really good time under Lionel Pickering in the 90s, got to the first division for 6 consecutive season and enjoyed top 10/ top 8 as well. Had the Anglo-Italian cup final at Wembley, FA cup runners up in 98’, they were bringing in big audiences in the newly built Pride Park opened by the Queen. They weren’t the best team or even one of, but they had a really good period and built their name back after a poor time of it before Pickering. They were well known as an English club in Europe.
