Agree about value / features for the money. I gave this and the Pentacles a hard look. But then I got the Befaco Kickall and been making a drum rig around it. Truth be told, I've never been a big fan of the Roland drums and I have to do a lot of processing to get them where I want. Also gotta say the ALM Squid Salmple is amazing and is a quick study for use. Lots of great drum kits pre-installed on its usb stick.
there is a good case for both approaches- I have individual drum modules and the Queen of Pentacles. For a small case, the drum voices like Queen of Pentacles and Black Noire work great if you only have limited space for it and a small sequencer.
