Embassies are not typically allowed to be directed by the host country to take social media posts down or to not make certain pronouncements. Embassies are supposed to be legal territory of the embassy country within the host country. This is highly unusual.

This is not the first time that Israeli embassies have been behaving as though they are entitled. The first incident was a video put on the Israeli embassy social media account in South Korea, which portrayed Hamas terrorists attacking the South Korean city Seoul. Needless to say, the Korean government demanded that the Israeli embassy take the video down, which they did. Apologies from the South Korean Israeli embassy, and the guilty party would be punished. Earlier on, as one commentator stated, slogans were put on tuks tuks in Thailand showing the Thai nationals that were killed or captured, but I am unsure how the Thai government reacted. Now, this latest fiasco when the Singaporean Israeli embassy posted that in the Quran in its social media account that Israel is mentioned about 47 times but Palestine not once. The Singaporean government demanded that the post be taken down immediately, which the Israeli embassy did. Again, apologies from the Israeli embassy in Singapore and the Israeli embassy stated that the 'culprit' will be addressed and face punishment, but the Israeli embassy released no names.Singapore has a Jewish community numbering around 10,000. The initial Jewish community was from the Middle East, but now most are European Jews. Singapore is home to a fairly large Muslim community. They simply quote and it is a wrong meaning.... in the Quran when it says "Bani Israel" meaning that the descendent of Jacob who becomes Nasrani ( christians) and Yahudi (judism) not the "country of Israel". And in the Quran also when it says "Israel" meaning that it is prophet Jacob because that is his other name!
