You’re the only OOTP person on RU-vid I don’t play at 1.25/1.5x speed. Thank you for speaking at a pace that acknowledges that these videos can easily get overlong.
We're so BACK Bailey, in all seriousness, your OOTP tutorials back in the day got me hooked on what is now my favorite game. Thank you for those videos, and I'm excited for what is in store here, too.
I’ve been wanting to have a OOTP let’s play to watch for so long! Hopefully we can consistently pump these vids out without having to edit too much. Keep these as raw as you need so I can watch this as much as possible.
I'd just like to say that as a former lifelong Oakland A's fan I'm excited to root for the virtual A's. What Fischer has done has driven me into the arms of a team that cares IRL, that being the Dodgers.
Damn bro I just started ootp and when you interviewed with castellani I heard about the ootp let’s plays and hoped you would do one again so this is hype
Always a good day when FB uploads. Looking forward to this new series! I wonder how long after the video Bailey remembered Ruiz is a right-handed batter.
Also you’re the only person I’ve seen actually give imo a good case for why someone would want to value control. My mindset has always been “I don’t care if you walk a batter if the next guy is going to ground or strike out.” but the case for keeping pitch counts low makes a ton of sense for me.
love this. some tips: change to 20/80 (increments of 5) instead of stars, also change the dev speed to 1.5 and aging speed to 0.5 for a more realistic sim, with target dev age as much younger. also love having tcr at 150. hope this gets to you before the next part, looking forward to it
Bro I was planning on making like the same exact video but I went 7 seasons making the playoffs 3 times, but the owner lowered my budget every year I made the dance so I gave up. Good luck! Praying you get relocated or the owner sells in your run!
mr. bailey baseball sir! i have a question, what happened in 1894? why was the league wide era more than half a run worse than the second worst year on record?
"I was walking down the hall in a set of striped pajamas..." Yep, I can absolutely see that. "I had a stocking cap on..." A touch odd, but I can see that, too. "And a lit candle that I was soon going to extinguish..." OHHHH, he's doing a bit!
Right at the beginning of the video, look at the attendance before 2020. People act like Oakland has no fanbase but they had pretty good attendance for a small market before the last few years.
