i cant help but be thankful for ray. He cares about working and always wants to do a good job. lets get a thumbs up for the man, and show the boss that he is worth traning up.
I’d love to work with a guy like ray, he genuinely cares & he means well. Being new to something doesn’t always come east to people. Great addition to the team
I just lost my dad earlier this week, I’m 23 & finding out your son is 21 and knows so much from everything you taught him just makes me happy. My pops was the man just like you Ryan he knows so much, I wish I took more time with my dad but it was great memories everytime we went out to work together even on little stuff around the house It’s good to see you and your son spending a lot of time together right after he’s right out of school for a bit. Keep it up Ryan love seeing Jr in the videos again You guys be safe alright? Tell Jr to be real careful as well🙏🏻
I’m 23 as well. I am super close with my dad and I’m with him all day every day. I can’t imagine what your going through man. Your dad is watching you and will be proud of you no matter what.
That’s why he’s the boss. Everyone makes mistakes and forgets things even after years of experience. Also, ultimately his name is on it and his entire business rests on attention to detail and quality. It’s his livelihood. That’s why he double checks behind them.
I would love to see a highlight reel at the end of each season. It would showcase your finish work and show the great way your team always comes together. 👍
As a CDL Driver Ray needs to know " If the needle is Low , gots to drop some dough ! " and just give you receipt . Put $20 in or something I just feel employee's need to act like it's their own business and less mistakes will be made . 😊
or call the boss and say "hey the truck is about to be under 1/4th of a tank , you want me to throw 50$ in to get through til i see you later?" these a common sense things that Ray just doesnt do. great guy but man his mistakes are rookie ones
@@jfraz_7720 yea I agree Ray is an awesome dude but just needs a little of that go getter attitude ! I feel Eric was like that for a long time but seems like finally he got it lol 😆
That’s not his Job. These trucks are always running around on fumes. You think Ray should go and put his own money in fuel into it. Seriously??? What are you on?
Skinny Ryan is the best. He's a funny guy and good worker. Wish he could stick around for more than the summer, but I'll enjoy watching him while he's here.
Happy Father's Day Ryan! You are practically the dictionary definition of what it means to be a "dad" .. God Bless your sweet family always and you and your crew ... Your blessings surround you 👍💯♥️
🇨🇦 Good morning VCrew! I feel for Ray … he always shows he is so willing to learn and please … this must have had him chastising himself, hard! Better times to come when he tastes success on something he has learned and is succeeding. Happy Father’s Day to the fathers of the VCrew.
There is something to be said about experience - Ryan takes one look at so many things and instantly can see what needs to be fixed / re-done / what's next / etc etc
It just amazes me how many people in the comments are absolutely perfect workers who have never been late or mad a mistake in their whole career. Hats off to you
I wish I had a dad like Ryan to teach me all that from a young age, but I had to learn on my own sadly. But I also get to learn from you Ryan as well and I'm forever grateful!
Happy Father’s Day from one father to another! Watching you get up and do what you do for your family makes me only strive to do better. Thank you Ryan!
Can’t say it enough Ryan but you’re one heck of a boss. Recently I lost my grandfather on a Wednesday and my manager told me to come in the next day and my supervisor didn’t even stick up for me , your videos help me temporarily forget about these tough times I can’t thank you enough
That's B.S. Your bosses do not stick up for the people that make THEM money. Ridiculous. It's call Bereavement Pay.... You have a funeral, a family tragedy, your supposed to still get paid when you miss work. I got 2 days when my grandma died. 2, 8 hour days. That's horrible sorry for you loss. 🙏 Your bosses need to smarten up. It's called karma. They are going to need YOUR help one day..... NOPE! No easy money for you.
@@ArtoftheStarz yea and it’s in my contract. Shop Stewart didn’t even notify my union an about this but once the funeral services are done I’m going to speak my mind
It's not about being picky as a boss Ryan, it's about having a standard and taking pride in what ya do. A lost art to most now days sadly. Love how you were talking to Jade about teaching her to bite and her tongue just hanging out happy as can be, great dog she is. If I ever hit the lotto I am having you do the concrete!
@@OutdoorManiac419 I never said that you said he was the best. My comment was not meant to offend you. You are right, as an Architectural Technologist working with concrete since 1977, that is my professional observation and conclusion.
5 handicap in high school is very good! Gonna have to break the clubs out for a course vlog maybe take the guys to a range session, surely would be a good laugh !
If Bugs had one thing I'd work with him on, it's taking constructive criticism and/or how he takes being told something is wrong. He seems to be a little testy whenever he has to go back and fix something. That's probably just in his nature of doing good work, because I'm the same way. It's almost like we take it personally because we pride ourselves on doing a good job 100% of the time. When I learned have to receive advice/criticism, my work stress was cut literally in half.
It makes me so proud to see a hard-working man getting the fruits of his labor. All those years, it wasn't easy money. They are finely paying off. God bless your family.
Been watching for a year now and pretty much watched every video, short, and stories on FB too. Funny thing is it’s not the concrete but just the way Ryan creates content from the top to bottom and his overall personality. Some content creators have that IT factor and some don’t. Thanks for the good work!
What a happy Fathers Day to wake up Victory style! I Hope Ryan one of the greatest fathers I enjoy watching has the best day ever! You inspire so many men and so many dads out there to be the best version of themselves. You truly are a great Dad and I know I have grown as a man and as a father since watching you from the beginning. Thank you Ryan and again happy Father’s Day to you and all the great dads on the crew and anyone watching. 🥸💪
Afternoon from Manchester England! Love to see how the new team is coming together and that big ray is settling in nicely, bugz is the kinda guy that you want to never ever retire. Great work Ryan!
What I like about Ray is yes he seems like he makes small mistakes here and their (not on the same level as the costly stuff Daryl did) but unlike Daryl he doesn't make excuses. And I feel he learns from then and is sincerely sorry for them and he brings the issue to Ryan right away instead of hiding it or covering up.
Ray is also still pretty new and learning, not to say he won't still make a few small, silly mistakes here and there, but I'm sure he'll be that much more solid by the end of the season once he's gotten used to everything.
@@stevengallant6363 exactly lol, I have absolutely no idea what he did before with his cdl but running your rig out of gas is like the most green thing you can do. I don’t think there’s much going on between those ear holes
@@Wire_Mesh_Police Maybe the fuel gauge didn't work? I'm trying to give Ray an out 😁...How old do you think he is? Edit: IMO dumping the wheelbarrow in the neighbors yard was more boneheaded than running out of fuel. He ran out of fuel because he didn't pay attention. He dumped in the yard because he has no commonsense.
@@49ersbullsno he’s not lol he’s still learning his role. Once he find his groove he will do much better. Just like everything else it just takes time to learn it. Besides ray has something you can’t teach, and that’s drive….. Shows up early and does everything he’s told and then some. Ray is gonna do just fine! FEAR THE BEARD.
What a difference between this pour and the one Eric did...with way more height difference. Nice video as always. Love Ryans experience and work ethic !
Ryan has also been in business 20 some years,it would be silly too think Ryan was just that good when he started his business and that he never ran into trouble or mistakes
@Truth PAtriot it's true, but Eric's pour was about the same time as this one, and he didn't care one bit...filling with topsoil, no dugout border on the side, no reinforcement nothing... But yeah, he will learn with time that in the end, reputation is all you have as a business owner !
When is Erik or Bugs or one of the long timers going to step up and get it right? Ryan has to go over every corner of the job to ensure things are done correctly still, every job. Ryan has to police every job. Who of you guys is going to step up and take the incentive? All those men and still leaning against the building instead of taking charge to get things done. You'll always be a helper and never a lead with that work ethic. Step it up!
Yup, I’m a fellow concrete man myself and you be surprised how many guys cannot read a level,or smart level. Bugs should know better, Eric and all those guys are just laborers.
@@marcosmendez8805 no doubt he’s been putting in work for years with Ryan, you can tell Ryan gets frustrated having to tell the guys everyday what to do, to keep busy, clean the tool and truck, having the trucks fueled up and ready to go , having material ready for the next day, taking initiative and also staying pass your 8 hrs until he leaves, these guys are too comfortable, also being early is on time, on time is late, late you might as well just go home.
Shocked at how Bug's set that step so out of level that's a pretty rookie mistake. Ray running the truck completely out of diesel another rookie move. Edit - To be the best in any of the trades you have to be picky and do flawless work which is why your at the level you are at Ryan. Keep doing what your doing if your guys want to get better and not be lazy it will only help them. You can clearly see the difference between a Victory job and an Easy E job even though the same person is doing some of the work, just that little bit extra of attention to small detail makes all the difference. Pink hats all around
Happy father's day Ryan! I've taken a lot of cues from you in my work and life habits since I've found your channel and I think that now you have waaaaaay more than 7 kids 😂
You guys make it look so easy...That work is always amazing. I own Just Dig It Inc. down here in Florida, I do Excavation and Tractor work but Im a one man show, just me and all my equipment, it's paid for at least... I could learn a lot from you about business, that's for sure. I wish I could meet ya one day Mr. Ryan.
I respect a real MAN who makes his kids WORK for what they want. My wife doesn't feel the same way but recently she seems to realize we can't pay for everything. Jr is a hustler and can't wait to see how young Daniel blossoms! Not many people would say "I'm not going to charge you, I might need help some day"! Both generous and humble at the same time. Good man!
A good worker is someone like buggs doesn’t complain, stays busy and knows what to do. But unfortunately he is getting old now and yet he’s out working everyone
Every year your videos are just next level up in content. Love seeing the whole crew and especially Junior!!!! You are truly blessed my friend, but you don’t need me to say it. Thank you Ryan! So happy for you and your entire family.
Good thing for your 2 core workers that you see always doing something You are a saint ,sir to keep guys who work hard at hardly working. But then again I don’t see what they do after the cameras are off However : if you lived in my area and could afford i’d hire you in a NY min. Good luck hope all the success you can handle
I thought Ryan had gotten fuel cards for each truck so the guys could get fuel when they needed to. poor Ray he is a victim of his own hard work the guy he replaced would have only made three trips and had plenty of fuel left. Happy Father's Day to the guys and to all the followers of the channel.
Idk he can improve more tho, like being early, staying busy and not wondering around. For me I take it serious and I don’t like messing around we can do that after work
Your trailer had the diesel tank on it - unless it was the RED DIESEL, it could have worked. Enjoy seeing the land work, it will be a something to be proud of for years!!
@@nosoul4233everyone does side jobs to make extra money. They aren’t directly employed so they can do what they want on the side. If he has a problem at this point Eric could just do his own work and Francisco would probably go with him. Not worth losing two great workers because occasionally they may be slightly off their game.
Just ordered a Victory hoodie. Big fan all the way here in Philly. Love watching your videos. Your videos calm me after woeking outside doing physical labor and very early morning work out.
Ray is such a hard worker and deserves everything good that comes his way through his connections with Ryan. That man will do big things one day mark my words.
Who else wonders why Ryan doesn’t sign up for the rewards at the gas station. He could probably earn so many free items because he’s there EVERYDAY. I work at a gas station and never realized that some customer’s make it a daily routine to stop by everyday.
It's because he doesn't like to give out his "personal information", meanwhile it's plastered all over the internet. He was making a big deal about Harbor Freight asking him to make a free account with them so they can warranty and process his returns.
@@lucatoni98 >He was making a big deal about Harbor Freight asking him to make a free account You mean BSing him that he have to give them personal info to be eligible for warranty return? 😂 I LOVE when some clowns BS me how I HAVE to sign up for their new feature too.
@@delta_glider4362 Oh right, they're gonna steal your millions in the bank with your name and throwaway email. Like I said Ryan's info is already plastered everywhere for the world to see
Love Rays eagerness to learn and to do things right. He'll go far in life. Tito maybe be "around the corner" a lot of the times but from what I've seen he works hard. Go Tito! Love all the crew! By the way Ryan I don't think Jade's ever going to stop jumping, she's just a happy and loving you guys and happy to be at work! Ryan and crew...STAY AMAZING!
Thank God you can find a mechanic to get your truck running back up reached out to keep an eye on the gas so don’t happen again awesome job at that one house. Nice back patio nice step you have a good team of workers with you at at all times Brian your son is awesome. Bugs Eric Francisco is back Tito Ray then you have all them. You have an awesome team.
If Ray doesn't know what to do when he's not being told then he should always be working on housekeeping. Ryan son is always listening so when Ryan is telling ray he doesn't need him for the pour so take the trucks fill them up then all the other stuff that requires the trucks. His son's like, that should be my cream work lol just because he been driving truck lately. That boy is smart, what ever he wants in life he will get . Keep it up kid! Edit: ray ran the truck dry so theres another point for your boy " pink hat time"
