Once the copyright strike is resolved, you can apply for the play button again! You're not prevented from getting it forever, don't worry!

You should definitely reach out to RU-vid support to see what video resulted in the strike. While strikes are serious, they can be removed by going through the proper procedures, usually involving removing the video in question and sometimes a few other things. Several channels much larger than you have received multiple strikes in the past and have gotten them removed, so unless the process has drastically changed and strikes are now permanent no matter what, you should be able to get it removed and be back on track.

An eccentric learning stream where something that piques your interest and/or puzzles you gets a quick dive and exploration to figure it out.. or still be perplexed. -Fenn tries.. to do, eat and/or make something new. -Fenn's ultimate tier list of things (The greatest and The cursed) all ranks in bread for example Dinner roll = F, Garlic Bread = S+++, etc. -Artistictism a stream series where you attempt to recreate or reimagine artistic masterpieces in Paint or other similar application. Bob Ross styled commentary recommended. -Spooooky stories of a haunted Scotland. -Write wild stories using AI with input from chat.

I'm not 100% sure, but I did check yt PB guide and there is nothing there about banning ppl from getting PB, the only thing I found close in that mater is that "You don’t have an active Community Guidelines violation, and haven’t received any in the last 365 days." so it's look like you chance to get PB it's not lost. But still, it would be good idea to contact yt team here and X to make sure how it is.

Sorry to hear what happened. I’m gonna second the notion that doing anime and manga discussions, though maybe do a book club style thing where the audience recommends something old or obscure and you guide discussions chapter by chapter to have a sense of direction without running afoul of the copyright system. Personally, I’ve been on a Rosario + Vampire kick lately and it’s been good for a laugh. It hasn’t been the first time this channel flashed back a full 20 years for discussion purposes.

RU-vid has gone after 5 different channels I follow in the last month. Most notably The Beesleys, and it was just one channels videos that got them demonetized. Keep fighting RU-vid. Ideas.... You could do stream highlight videos, Chat un-ban requests videos, there are enough of us that we could send you a bunch of weird presents you could open, do some fun movie reviews. Heya. I cant talk for all, so i'll talk for myself. Fennryn, ofc copyright strikes its suck banana. BUT! It dont have to be send to court. You can resolve this problem with youtube staff. But ofc you need time. About what you have to do next? I dont know. Maybe some games? Well, you know, 22.3k followers there because of YOU and what YOU do.

Don't let it get to ya ,create a second channel for us to sub to so that dream of play buttons can still happen, and use the main channel for games / reviews or whatever piques your interest, use this channel as a upload what makes u happy regardless of analytics. Where u can try new ideas to see if they work all while planning a plan B channel The second channel / alt channel can be twitch vods or if you want the channel to target 100k subs for whenever that day comes perhaps look at more yt algorithm positive ideas , that you still enjoy. Your meme react content was some of my favorite things to watch, and honestly how i got introduced to your content in the first place. As someone else suggested here, maybe instead of reacting to videos you could react to other memes like just plain images? or something like reddit stories? You have a great laugh and it realy puts a smile on my face to hear it, so realy anything that makes you laugh would be good content in my book. In response to your question, why not ask yourself: what's a topic I'm so passionate about that I can effortlessly discuss it for half an hour? That's where your focus should be. If the kitchen is your stage, then let culinary adventures be your content. No need for a studio setup; your home kitchen and an Iphone is perfect. Dive into new recipes, critique dishes, or explore how different cultures approach cooking. The key is authenticity- be genuine, be you. Viewers are drawn to your unique perspective, not just the content you've been reacting to. Make your own path, distinct from the typical Vtuber reaction mold, to unleash your full creative potential. For me the video where you explored a 1950s kitchen was interesting. Why? Because I'd never seen a 1950s kitchen before. Additionally the video stood out because it resonated with you, allowing you to offer insightful commentary and personal reflections. Keep that originality at the forefront. Remember, you've got this!

I subscribed to you because of your tutorials even though I don't plan on being a vtuber just curious on the logistics of being one. And logistics of everything, really. You kinda answered your problem. People want you to do tutorials and you know RU-vid wants a channel to be consistent with their content. So why not make a tutorial only channel? Keep strong.

As someone who has also been striked, loosing 30 of my videos by Nintendo my heart pours out for you, truly. It’s difficult for me to just give you ideas because they honestly need to be something you can wholeheartedly enjoy and create from the heart. Something that fits you. I’m not sure if it’s our place to find that for you. But I will say this. Every ounce of your hard work matters and this strike doesn’t invalidate anything you do. That really sucks, but maybe we can get you that play button through your tutorial channel! Pertaining to this channel, however, if you're into anime then reviews/discussions then that would be cool. I've seen people notice that even if a vtuber says they like anime, we don't get to see too many talk on that subject. T.V./Movie/Game/youtube series reviews if you aren't into anime. Zatsu streams are always nice and I've had a lot of fun when other vtubers delve into and create slideshows on things theyre interested or passionate about. For instance, Mino Meiko did a stream on fashion and skin care that made me subscribe to her and Lia, from Phase Connect, has a deep dive series. Just make sure you're having fun with it!

Copyright strikes are... so unfair... the only people who actually get hit by them are the ones that do NOT deserve to... and those that NEED to be dealt with concerning them get away with it. I only just found this channel and fell in love with it and now see this? gotta admit... RU-vid sure is making me angry these days. Or just pick something you like (or hate and talk about it. Can even do tier lists. Maybe react to some News vids (penguin0 does some great ones you can react to)

Hi Fenn I'm only a guy trying to help a fox girl on the internet but, here's some ideas: 1. Ask RU-vid content support about what got you stuck in the first place. Their people might be able to help or even give advice about copyright for future content. 2. Ask other creators on whatever platforms available for help. An outreach might garner someone with similar experiences or ideas. 3. You are a great commentator and advisor, you could do an "ask me anything" section for viewers to share personal stories (with consent to use their info of course) 4. The streams where you were sidetracked by Chat showing you amazing stuff before you got to gaming was always fun. You can get chat to teach you about all sorts of interesting things and new skills and places. 5. You're more digital media and art smart than me, making a whole animated model (And I'm supposed to be learning cad for college 😂) maybe that could be an element in some sort of new content. You've helped me through many long nights of projects for my architecture course, hopefully I can return the favour. Don't be so downtrodden by the whole thing, life happens ❤🦊

I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you and it breaks my heart to hear how much this meant for you too. In the end, we want to see that cheerful fox be happy too, because a happy fox makes a happy crowd and a crowd happy. Content creation is tough and doesn't come out of nowhere. So, we can totally understand that it's rough to come up with new ideas. Especially on a short notice. Know that your community will be there for you in your time of need, even if we don't have any solid ideas for content either. Reaction content is a tricky business, even though a lot of viewers want to see the honest reactions of a streamer. Myself included, especially if it's about a game i'm playing myself (so that i can see how they would react to a certain part of a story / sequence of events). But, we totally understand the risk of a copyright strike and that you don't want to risk getting one yourself. The best advice i can give you right now, is to take comfort in knowing that you have a community that's on your side and simply just by chatting with you, they feel connected and happy. So, "Just Chatting" will probably still be a good way to make your own content. Tutorials are interesting, but usually not something you do on a stream. But, if you like creating art, you could give "doodling stream" a go while interacting with your viewers. In the meantime, i agree with what another person said in the comments. You might not have the means to hire / use a lawyer to solve this issue, if would still suggest contacting RU-vid and ask for more details about the strike. That way you can either try to set things right and see if you can come to an agreement together. It would be a real shame if your dreams are definitely shattered by this. That's unfortunate. And when it comes to the play button and the copy strike. Direct quote from wiki on the matter: When a RU-vid user gets hit with a copyright strike, they are required to watch a warning video about the rules of copyright and take trivia questions about the danger of copyright. A copyright strike will expire after 90 days. And you can just send a email into the youtube support to get info about the strike and linked video associated with it and either remove the video or re-edit it to clear the strike. Your not able to receive a play button as long as you have a strike, but that's only during that period and it's not permanent at all. That kind of strikes are common now but it still stings when it happens. But it's easy to get the matter cleared up and you don't need a lawyer for it. You can use one, but it's not needed in most cases. I enjoy your videos and they're often quite funny and wholesome. Keep up the good work ^^

As far as an idea goes maybe you could try doing like a Livestream chat day where you could put up poles about certain topics or ideas and have the chat pick them out. The topics or ideas could be about anything like oh this pole is going to be the debate of pineapple on pizza or the debate on tight men's pants should be then you go about having kinda like a chat stream day? Or maybe not specifically doing like your tutorials on live 2d but just drawing what you like to draw or taking comments and drawing those? I hope these were at least somewhat helpful. I've watched a load of your react videos. Never been to a stream yet. So i dont know how it is with chat. But ocassional videos of chat interactions are fun to watch. Its always nice seeing people have fun with their fans/followers/community

Tbh I would love to see you play video games. And no gaca or multiplayer games where you have the weird pressure of performing to a certainlevel. Just single player game where you can immerse yourself into the world and story. Watching people experience stories for the first time (even though I know them already) can be very fun. Games I would recommend for that are: - Heavy Rain - Hollow Knight - Ori and the blind forest (+ will of the wisps) - Rain World (this one is hard though) - Rim World (this can take a while) - Metro 2033 + sequels (if you like shooters) - Subnautica (a bit spooky) And I think this awesome community would gladly help you finding or suggesting other games if you basically make clear what kind of games you are comfortable streaming/recording.

I don't know what to say... Just hearing that you have to deal with this feels really shitty. I could recommend the weird explanation about Elden Ring that looks like the editor was on lsd or maybe some Black Pants Legion content about Battletech if you want to do reacts... I hope this wasn't a strike from IShowSpeed's alt account/media group as there a lot of those lodged recently. RussianBadger is always a good time for reacts. However, I can't even begin to imagine how you are feeling right now, so, make something, anything, as long as it makes you smile and laugh, because you need it. :) We're here for you.

In the short term, make videos just discussing things you like. For example, talk about setting up a V-tuber model. Talk about setting up a stream. If you're into cosplay, talk about getting a wig and making it fit for a con.

video ideas that come to mind.. -board game creation, probably look into tabletop simulator so you can have it be an interactable process with chat (mechanics can't be copyrighted, the art can though, but you could start with recreating a game you like, figure out why some decisions were made etc.) -whacky research (either deep dives into silly/ hyper specific topics, or go "bahfest" route, pick a hill to die on and get the reasoning as close to reality as you can) -improv storytelling none of those are easy, but they came to mind

I have only watched your videos so far so I'm not sure of what skills you possess. Do you like to draw or paint? Even if you're not very good, you have an established fanbase that will watch with you. If you have any musical talent, that's always a hit with vtubers. I recommend mixing it up and experimenting. I stuck around because I like who you are and because it's wholesome. I'd like to stay for that. I hope this helped Fen. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do. RU-vid’s been ridiculously draconian lately so I hope you’re not taking it too personally, and I’m sure there are free sources on Twitter who will give you some pointers at least. If you’re not sure what they even struck, then you have a right to ask. Pinging on Twitter has always been more productive to do for that. As for ideas, could do tierlist ideas for anything like fast food or sponsorships if ya wanna be spicy, Reddit reactions, or maybe a “Twitter Timeline React” where you scroll and react to some of the crazy shit ya see there lol. Fennryn, we LOVE you! and everything you do. Also, RU-vid do not apply their strikes the same way. They can strike a RU-vidr for doing something, and 10 others who did the very SAME thing with the same video won't be strike. So please, don't think to much on this, please (yeah, that was redundant.) Nothing in this is your fault. RU-vid have ambiguous laws that allow them to impose the law like they want, on who they want, the way they want. You could always keep on reacting to the cool RU-vidr. Those who understand that the Copyright rules made on RU-vid are freaking Trash and are cool with other showing their video. I would probably suggest staying away from video that show the bad and down side of other RU-vidrs for now. I really hope you'll do better, I really need my little Fennryn's laugh and your “hu-hum, hu-hum, hu-hum” to brighten my day. Hi Fennryn. I'm sure you don't know me, but I've enjoyed looking in on your videos and streams from time to time, and I enjoy your work. One of my community members on discord told me about this situation of yours and I wanted to reach out. Firstly, Copyright strikes don't prohibit you from getting play buttons necessarily. Play Buttons (by my understanding) are manually given, and can be approved or denied regardless of copyright strikes, so I wouldn't write off that just yet. As for ideas for what to do with your channel going forward, I don't think you NEED to give up on reaction content altogether. What are some ways you could transform the content further? There are options before you. What software do you use to replay videos? Maybe there's a work around. But I also know it can be scary to stand up to the RU-vid overlords, so if you want to try your hand at other content, let's see what we can do. You're a V-Tuber with a playful and happy personality. That kind of persona would be great for not just reaction content, but also for gaming. You stream games from time to time right? What's a game you're passionate about? Would you be willing to talk about tha game and the things you love or hate? Like you play Resident Evil, I understand (I literally just got into the franchise myself)? Maybe you could do a tier list of the best and worst games in the franchise. You also have a great persona. Maybe play off that a bit? I am a story writer and share stories and fictional work with my audience often. Maybe create some stories and tell them to your audience about the adventures of your character and persona. Share funny stories that you think will make people laugh or maybe ones that will inspire. Believe me, I'm not a V-Tuber, but I've been down this road of struggle before with my channel too. I also was copyright striken about a year ago, and it was a struggle then too. It may be too bold of me to say, but if you want to brainstorm ideas or just talk about this stuff, I'm willing to help where I can. Whatever you decide to do, the best piece of advice I can give is keep your chin up. Copyright strikes, annoying and scary as they can be, are not the end of your channel. (I'm not a regular here.) I think if you were to contact Nux, and mention this, he should point you to someone who can actually help. I Tihnk. He had his whole "oversees bank" issue and someone helped him resolve that.

Whoa I just wanna say here, you're not to blame. Do not blame yourself, copyright is bullshit. I have seen videos such as yours taken to court and proclaimed "the quintessential example of fair use", copyright laws are applied on a whim, with random bias. You are not to blame.

One think that I see other channels do that do reaction videos is resize the video so that it is smaller while placing yourself in the opposite corner. For example, the channel owner of Vlogging Through History said in one of his other videos that this was something he did specifically to combat copyright issues.

I can only really think of two things right now. First being to read stories from reddit, like r/aita or r/hfy, or somewhere else, maybe scp stuff. Second is a game called town of Salem 2, each match only last about 10 to 20 minutes and can be absurdly goofy while being able to play with the community without much trouble due to price and ease of use. You could do a let’s play of Total war: Warhammer 3. I for one love to see people learn that game. For something more popular you could do an Elden Ring play through. You could learn about lore and then make a video sharing what you have learned, and more importantly, what you think and feel about the lore. For interesting lores, I would advise: Star Wars legends, Warhammer 40k, the Vshojo x Nux Taku drama (controversial), the Samurillion (long read, and kind of dry), the manny cancellations of Asmongold (good for views) and the unexpected parallels between Adventure Time and Fallout. Finally if you could manage to do some collabs with creators like CerberVT and Ellie_Minibot that would potentially open you up to productive friendships.

I wish I could say that I have some great ideas. The only thing I can think of is narration. I have been getting into these HFY vids because the stories are short and easy to just kick back and listen to. The thing missing from them though is a person reading the story instead of some AI. You have a beautiful voice so it might work. I hope everything works out.

As for ideas, I'd suggest collaborations with other VTubers, chat-interactive games like Jackbox, and games/challenges with the mods or channel members. There may also be older content in the public domain (and I know some streamers opt for Twitch-only with certain watchalong content, such as Pipkin Pippa with classic movies) You could even do more Just Chatting streams, the chat sections of your other streams always stretch out in length and are super engaging! yeah a lot of content creators have multiple channels to hedge against stuff like this. One channel for original content and growth while the other for any videos that might tread the danger zone.

Fenn, I’m sorry this happened to you. You bring a lot of joy to my day watching your videos. Watching you play Portal 2 was awesome and so my idea is to lean more into that, it doesn’t have to be hours long. Maybe try games like Lethal Company. There’s got to be a way to help you still get that button, nobody should ever have to lose their dream! No matter I hope you keep going because losing the ability to enjoy your content would be to lose a great treasure.

I’m sorry this happened to you, keep your head up high and do the best you can. It will pass and things will get better. As for ideas of content, may I suggest trying your hand at making content based on subjects you like. You peek so many of our interests and it will be nice to know your interests. A community collaboration if you will. You can select a random amount of viewers and have a talk show. Time limit it to like 20 or 30 mins. I think that will be something amazing and will make you stand out, the Vtuber who interviews her audience

If you wanna keep reacting, Sabaton is a interesting band who produces interesting music videos. From my knowledge they do not exercise their copyright rights. Someone asked them awhile back if they can use their music and they said something along the line of, "Thank you for writing, you can use our music for your stream but our policy may change. Just give credit." Also, if you do go down the rabbit hole of Sabaton, don't be surprised if the Panzer Battalion arrives and talks nothing but Sabaton.

I would love to see you do a movie,book,or show club for the month and then come back and take about it. Maybe take recommendations from the comments to determine what the next one will be. I’ll watch whatever you put out gotta support the best fox around.

im so sorry you got a strike! thats a nightmare for us content creators, vtubers and fleshtubers alike! you could lean into a more Saberspark style of commentary to replace your typical reaction stuff! he discusses the video/animation/whatever rather than showing his first reaction to it. It's a little more scripted and a lot more editing, but I think you have amazing potential for it!

The best thing you need to do is to do what you enjoy. The vast majority of why guys (mostly vtube viewers) enjoy, is when their wifu has fun. No matter what it is. So find something that your passionate about, and share it with us

What do you like to do? ...Crafting? Talk about topics you’re passionate about? Discuss products you’ve purchased or would like to purchase? ...Talk about what resonates with you. Viewers will stay for you, your effervescence & exuberance. It sucks that this happened but when one door closes another opens. & you obviously have passion for streaming. It might be too expensive for some people but playing/collector card openings and model building might be helpful. I saw some suggest art and drawing streams. Reaching out to other tubers can definetly help with coming up with new ideas and audience members. I hope for the best and know the play button is not out of reach just a bit harder to achieve

I just remembered A couple of the ideas. A community Minecraft server; Q&A streams ; or make random thought videos A good place of inspiration ( Inksie ). I’m realizing almost all of my favorite streamers are fox girls😅
