Dang, I just love Sonic tools! For the ones saying the foam takes up too much space, just look 99% is COMPLETELY organized so the space couldn’t be used more efficiently. Time is money, time wasted on looking for a tool is just hell. Bravo Sonic

I'm with you, and I've spent my entire life (before Sonic) with drawers packed with tools (over-stuffed). I would choose the organized foam way every time. I also was skeptic in the beginning. Thanks for watching.

As an aircraft technician I love my Sonic box I got in school for a 35% discount which sold me on it

I like how organized they are but i think the foam trays take up a lot of valuable real estate because i have other tools too, btw, you should do a comparison/shootout with Teng tools since they are so similar, maybe throw in OEMTOOLS too

I agree with you about the foam lay out, taking up a lot of space. In the Air Force, it's called shadowing. The system is called CTK or consolidated Tool Kit. Everything is shadowed, etched, and inventoried. There are no unknowns in the tool box.

Yes, you are correct, the foam trays definitely limit you from stuffing a drawer full of tools. There are some drawbacks to being organized, I guess. We do want to get some of the Teng Tools in for testing, so maybe we'll do this very soon. Keep up the great work and thanks for watching.

One one my works training centres has a full sonic tool box set up. Decent quality stuff. Love the foam organization. In a training center where lots of different people use the same set of tools it works awesome. As a professional technician I feel there is way better choices out there. Their ratchets are just your average grade at best.

Thanks for the feedback. We've never said that Sonic had the very best tools available; however, we really haven't noticed any that we had problems with. What Sonic does very well is provide a solution, as you mentioned in your training center. It's kinda like an Apple iPhone. Honestly, I'd rather have an Android, but I carry an iPhone because of the User Experience. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Seems like a "tools for dummies" type of solution. Sorry, there's no way I could buy ALL my tools from just one brand. I care about overall tool quality. Organization is not a huge issue, there's plenty of options, just spend one day setting the box up and you're good to go. These foam liners also eat up a bunch of space in some cases, not always, but for some of this stuff. If it was cheaper, I'd get it, but for the money they're asking, I'd rather get a US General or Icon box and a ton of quality tools from various brands....and use the extra money on a project or a vacation.

They are.. but I don't think Sonic tools and Teng Tools and even OEM Tool's pre packaged tool Solutions are primarily made for companies that have a budget and can afford to buy them..... because they take out a lot of guesswork and make stations custom to the worker and work area making them more efficient...... but it'll cost you.... not necessarily for the individual in his home shop

I agree. I have a sonic s9 box full of their tools. Quite frankly I don't find there tools to be all that great and have had issues with some of them. They have been good with warranties though. I do really dig the organization though. Makes it super simple and hard to lose tools.

As others have said here and as I said in the video, me nor Sonic is stating they make the best tools in the world. They do make quality tools, but they make organizing your tools just stupid-simple. It requires almost no thinking other than knowing which size drawers you want to fill or which Sonic box you want to buy. Are they more expensive than Husky or Craftsman? Sure, they are, but it's a fair price for the solution you are getting. Thanks for watching.
