It's louder than a stock Hellcat I have it on my challenger rt especially through a tunnel OMG!!!! That's the fun part anyone who has there windows down just insane best mod I ever did !!!!!!!
I watched this video before I got a Daytona and I was always so confused why you wouldn’t gas it for more than 3 seconds. Now I understand.0-jailtime in 4 seconds
We do this to every V8 Charger that we sell. I'm a wholesale auto dealer in Michigan and my dealers all love it. We also do the Pedal Commander. Great video!
I have 2018 did the same cutting off the mid muffler replaced with straight pipe and use resonators as muffler for back pressure. Job was done at local muffler shop Aces performers Houston Tx... Mopar or no car!
Great job! Sound dope. After time the fiberglass will burn out make louder noise. The resonators are small straight pipe inside with fiberglass just like a borla exhaust x1 racing muffler.
I had this done to my 14 RT and it sounds perfect, I did keep the resonators on to avoid most of the highway drone. It sounds immensely better. It also felt like I had much better throttle response, however that might be psychological due to being able to hear the exhaust tone, where with stock mufflers it was almost silent under throttle.
I get " MAN YOUR CAR SOUNDS GOOD" all the time when I am out with my 2019 Charger R/T with STOCK exhaust. I think it sounds UNBELIEVABLE. But to each his own.
yeah for me even just the stock sounds good, but ive never owned a v8 before. i would probably eventually get the mids cut off once i got bored of stock
Did you keep it in sport mode very much? Just got a 2022 R/T and have thought of deleting resonators but kinda wanna keep it stock cause it does sound really good stock to me
@@NewportSelect yeah I got the 22 Daytona 5.7 as well, I love the stock sound and am wondering if a mid muffler delete would enhance the sound or ruin it :/
@@ashman999 I actually decided to get the mid muffler delete and love it, I do still love the stock sound but it got to where it just wasn’t loud enough, but I kept my resonators on and it sounds really good and is louder but still has a lower rumble
Sounds awesome, I would do this to my daytona rt, i just feel it isn’t fast enough for how loud it sounds lol, after my lease ends want a scat pack, that for sure will have mid muffler delete like in the first week
lol I right! you are in phoenix bro. We should link up and get some videos done. I do car vids on my other channel for my R/T not this 1 lol. Good video bro
I could be wrong but... it looks like your in Phoenix! Those open construction sites are a good idea to shoot my videos with my R/T. Im actually on my way to get a mid delete myself.
Yo bro, I own an indigo blue, 2019 charger R/T... I am going to delete those mufflers as well!! Love your content!!! My name is Craig, I’ll send a pic of the car
Love the sound man. Question for you cus I’m debating doing the same thing on my charger... is there highway drone? Right now I have a full straight pipe and the drone is a bit obnoxious. TIA
Hey I just bought a Dodge Charger and I’m looking to get my exhaust done so thanks for this but I’m also curious, what’s the Tint % on your front and rear windows? Im fish bowling at the moment so I gotta get those done.
Like the page what tire set up are you running I'm asking because I'm thinking of putting bigger tires on there just wanted to know which one you have on there and if they give any problems
It’s nice at idle and low speed but when you floor it it literally sounds like it’s having its nuts pinched. Goes up about 3 octaves instead of keeping that throaty growl.
Now get rid of the resonators and throw some Flowmaster Super HP2s on there! Thats called a catback performance exhaust. Better yet than leaving those resonators as performance mufflers.
I don't know if you're manually shifting or not...but from shifting sounds, sometimes sounds like trans in normal mode in before, & sounds like sport mode or manually shifting in others.
Hey just asking: is this sound recording made in Sport Mode or even with MFER-1 open Exhaust fix? Thank you very much, first video with nice sound quality of a muffler delete.
I really wanna get this done to my scatpack 2k19 but I’m worried about my warranty being voided with them ass hole ass dealerships. AWESOME Video!! I was waiting for someone to show me the inside sound. You think it’s the same for the scatpack or a little louder?
My boss did the mid muffler delete to his scat pack wide body, sounds great! probably a bit louder than my RT was, and he’s had no problems at the dealership. it doesn’t affect the warranty
Hey man, great sounding car. The way I understand a stock exhaust set up is CAT + RESONATOR + MUFFLER + EXHAUST TIPs. So what you did here was: CAT + STRAIGHT PIPE + RESONATOR + EXHAUST TIPs?
@@The02CumminsRAM Thanks for responding. I appreciate it. I have an fx45 and I have been thinking about doing this. I want to make sure it sounds great but not too loud.
Had this on my charger and it sounded horrible, I still don't like it for the highway drives but to each his own. I like a throaty car in town and at idle but when I'm on highway its smooth sailing
