Italy FINALLY Becomes Top Tier - Ariete AMV - War Thunder 

The C1 Ariete AMV PT1 not only has the 1500hp engine, but it also has: 1) New transmissions, crankshaft, Pistons, Cylinders and Gearbox 2) New Tracks(model 570P0) 3) New Anti-IED/Mine Kit, which has already been applied by the refurbrished C1 Ariete of 2022 (which weighs 63t against the 58t of the normal C1).

Italy needs the Ariete Hitfact Mk.2, M60A3 Leonardo, OF-40 Mod.3, Draco, Freccia, Palmaria SPG AND the Hungarian sub-tree Fun Fact: the Ariete Hitfact Mk.2 use the Centrauro 2 (MGS) turret and its possible that the company responsible for the turret, to install an autoloader as well, other than that its have the MGS fire control system and electronics

This is the italian tank filosofy: lack of armor in favor of best mobility and best firepower

I think if Gaijin were to fix some of its historical inaccuracies as far as protection goes, be a little bit more generous with BR placement, and add both the AMV PT2, and Centauro II, Italy could have a respectable top teir environment. Unfortunately we're still a long way from that, but I do feel like this addition for the most part is headed in the right direction.

The issue with this tank is, how gaijin has modeled it, it should have like 10 tons less weight, and be even quicker Or they should just give it the armor it has IRL so it can actually tank rounds The hull armor is the equivalent to the abrams hull armor Says so on the manufacturers website, front and center “the front of the hull is armored using composite materials” Can’t get damming, but gaijin doesn’t find that as “enough evidence” So Italy isn’t allowed armor I’d be fine with that, but they should then shave 10 tons off the top, instead it weighs more then a T-80 with 20% the protection Absolutely stupid Makes no sense It should have similar protection to the T-80 Oh well, gaijin sucks

Honestly I really do like the Ardennes Winter map. I like the Ardennes, but I absolutely hate the trees and bushes on that map because they're obnoxiously bright and large so I can hardly see a thing outside of the main streets, so the Winter map is a godsend for me.

This video really shows the team quality these days, I switch between every nation but Germany and this is the quality of team I get 80-90% of the time, playing Russia doesn’t change that as surprising as that might sound and this is all at top tier (except the UK since I only have up to 10.0)

The funny fact is that at the current state of Ariete upgrading, we have already hit the "C3" version. Still a temporary solution like the Leopard 2A9 that are coming from Germany (it's more an economic help for Germany than a real improvement for us Italians) until the new generation tank will be ready to be produced.

Same here I don't think it should tell the entire both teams what you are using and it should just only tell you the player that is using the actual ammo type or what not. But that Merkava 4 looks like a nice repeat of the same thing over and over ... can't wait to see the same EXACT thing over again in Israel tree.

Yeah I've noticed a lot more than usual amount of BMP-2's lately

The AMV isn't even out yet and Gaijin pull this out of their ass, the actual AMV's specifications imply equal armoring to western MBTs all round and are toying with installing Trophy APS (there are photos of the chassis shooting down ATGMs) or SCUDO, and Gaijin just decides that the AMV is the same incorrectly modelled tank that just fires DM53 (which any Ariete should fire by default anyway.) Gaijin being lazy again, considering the Ariete AMV doesn't even have the same hull (it's wider and has wider tracks as well)

honestly funny cuz I literally can't remember the last time I've seen the ariete in game

i said it on other videos, in the forums and ill say it here, besides needing more vehicles, the main issue with italy vs any other nation is that they offer nothing of value, the tanks look cool, but at 11.0 or 11.3, or even lower i can play any other nation and ill have better options, type 90s are at 10.7, and pretty much every other 11.3 is better in every way over the AMV, sure it has better mobility than the previous arietes, but even that remains average at top tier, protection still won't stop 9.3 rounds, and even if the armor values are corrected, the tank will still be subpar, just not as bad, and adding the hungarian subtree which indeed would be nice, will mean letting the arietes rot even more as the focus would likely go to the copypasted leopards. The reload rate buff is the main and only thing that can make the tanks decent options, it will put them ahead of the curve in 1 metric vs pretty much every other top tier tank besides japan and UK (tho they only have 3 rounds), look at the IPM1, giving it M900 made it a monster and that round is noticeably weaker than CL3143 or DM53, which pumped it up to 10.7, arietes firing their rounds every 5 seconds would make them quite better options and offer something most tanks don't, and if the hungarian TT is added, then you get options to choose from, leopard for better protection or arietes for firepower, which will put back their status of pretty decent glass canons. But at the current state i doubt that will happen, they refused to do it for the time being in the forums, and the textures from the AMV are stripped from the C1 ariete, meaning that they couldn't even bother giving it textures of it's own, so the arietes will remain as mediocre glass canons, only time will tell if gaijin will be bothered to change a line of code so the ariete is competitive.

CL1342 is only for the top tier ariete as a tier 1. Other 2 ariete have dm33 as stock round

i find the Ariete amv's mobility better than the type 10 and TKX, both have shitty bugged mobility and when you have 2 crew you cant accelerate and neutral steer really well, in general both tanks are bugged and is missing alot of real capabilities

This update brought so many thing I wanted to grind the us little bird the Swedish aa (of which I have both now) the new Ariete the new Italian battle ship the Israeli f4 phantom and new German and Chinese squeeze bois

I honestly wish they nerfed CAS at top tier, either by increasing spawn points so you can’t just get 1 kill and insta spawn into a plane that can wipe out an entire team or just add ground vehicles only. Or allow people to queue into air RB with SAM systems to play with air players. Bring back ground forces to GROUND REALISTIC BATTLES.

I have the yak141 and let me tell you I'm highly disappointed it doesn't have the option for 4x ER missles its either 2 ER or 4 27T or you can take 2x ER and 2x 27T which is better than two r60m but at the end of the day as IR missles are so heavily and easily flared basically my 3 kill a game at least 2 kills from the mig29 I'm barely getting 1 it does not go above Mach 1.05 I don't have the engine upgraded yet and I'm not sure how much a difference it will make but not much the handling is amazing but the amount of 4th gen jets now even with Germany is literally overwhelming for this plane it just doesn't cut the mustard and also I have you not after firing 11x 27R missles not one single kills with those

The tank looked better without the side skirts, i wish they've would kept it that way or at least added it as add on armor.

smoke is always there, right in the worse of time.. but i mainly blamed the new smoke.. is worse than the old.. new smoke is like sticking to your screen, while the enemy can see your front hull poking out of smoke.

I hope this comment reaches you and helps you to know/remind that the VIKHR Missles are not laser guided but Beam Rider wich is like optical guidance, its the same for the SOVIET Drones. This missles do not send you a laser warning well due to this missles not beeing laser guided 🤙

11:10 min. I shot the T80 always under the armor plates on the ammo storage because the loader of the tanks must always set the ammo on the bottom of the middle tub 🤭& the armor is at the bottom orange & not red... So not so got armored 🕹️🤭

BTW gayjin buffed Japanese type90 and type10, now u don't need to wait 40sec to load 1 round in to loading mechanism, noe its 4sec, its insane tbh

The problem is that the armor is essentially built to stop mostly shaped charge rounds of many varieties. Fighting tank-vs-tank is so rare nowadays (at least before the Ukranian invasion) that for the most part the biggest threat was going to be from man-portable shaped charge weapons like RPGs or ATGMs. Sadly, the designers of these tanks put more thought into how survivable they will be IRL versus how survivable they would be in a video game. Except Russia, who apparently knew their tanks were going to be in a game and therefore built them to have crazy armor against kinetic and chemical rounds alike. It's why I don't really play past 7.0 anymore, once the armor goes to the spaced/composite setup it's all guesswork anyway, real steel is measured and tested and we know how tanks in WWII and the early cold war would fight.

I’m going to be completely honest, the DM53 is trash compared to the CL3143. Unless gaijin has fixed the spall for DM53 it is completely pointless to use over CL3143 as it has zero post pen damage and the CL never got it reduced

Sometimes I don't get it. Why people consider kill Russian tanks in 1 shot is what should be happening, and kill Nato tanks in 1 shot in not appropriate. This is a game, why Russian tanks have to die in 1 shot and Nato tanks survive after 1 shot. I know people is going to say it is the structure of Russian tanks, etc..... But this is a game.
